Shiny vs Sunny

When the party ended later that night, Shining and Sunburst were brought back to the Crystal Empire, tired from a fun day of play. The two little colts snuggled under their sheets in their nursery.

Shining was the first to wake up and sighed seeing that he was now in a crib with wooden bars and a bright blue blanket, with a little stuffed moon and his Brutus Force doll. He had a pretty good idea why he’d woken up and a familiar damp sensation confirmed it, he’d wet himself. The regressed prince looked down at the stuffed moon with a glare. The idea was that if he needed something he was to press the plushie and Luna would come by to check on him. It was sort of like a foal monitor.

But looking down at his yellowed, soggy nighttime diaper, Shining became too embarrassed to show Luna he’d wet his diaper…again! He would just change himself. He looked across the room to see Sunburst was up looking down at his own soggy diaper.

Shining crossed his forelegs and grumbled. “Tis is so stupid. I mean, honestwy, Cady gone too faw with these cwibs.”

Sunburst sighed and shook his head. “Yeah, but we awe foaws and tey dun wan us going off by owasewves. We couwd get booboos.”

Shining rolled his eyes. “I neva gets booboos! I Captian of ta Woyaw Guawd!”

Sunburst sighed as he crossed his hooves with a pout. “Bu ya keep fowgtetting tat ya one now.”

Shining turned around and corrected Sunburst. “One and a half! Ta potion wegwessed ta hawf owa age, bu we stiww gots owa potty twaining.”

Sunburst sighed. “Wook, I gonna caw Wuna to come change us, otay? It’s not tat big of a deaw. Foaws do it aww the time”

Shining Armor shouted. “Dun do tat, Sunbuwst! We gonna change owawseves ten go back ta bed and act wike we didn't wet owaseves. Ten tey gots to change us back.” He then turned to the lock on top of his crib and grunted as he focused his energy, flipping the lock and lowering the bars of his crib.

Lighting up his horn, Shining floated himself with a shield around his tiny body and plopped down onto the floor. Sunburst got up, showing off his saggy diaper and grumbled. “Ya know how ya say Fwurry takes aftew Cady. Wew, I tink she takes mowe aftew ya. Tink about it.”

Shining stuck his tongue out. “Oh yeah? Wew if tat’s ya case ya can get changed wike a wittwe babby whiwe I become a big pony again.”

But before Shining could do anything, a familiar voice cooed. “Oh my. Looks like I caught a naughty foal sneaking out of his crib,” Both colts turned to see the familiar form of Princess Luna standing over them. The two colts whimpered, unsure of what to do. But Luna lifted Shining Armor (still in his soggy diaper) as she cooed. “I had no idea even at this age you had such control over your magic, Shiny.”

Shining crossed his hooves. “Wew, I not wike Fwuwwy. I dun make messes.”

Sunburst burst into laughter. “Ya exactwwy wike Fwuwwy Heawt! Ya sneak off, ya ta one who got us in twobwe with ta magic potions, and ya awso wuv to sneak candy and cookies into ya diapee dwaew.”

Luna smirked as Shining’s face was flushed a deep red. “Sunbuwst, you pwomiced not to teww! And so wha?! Even if tat’s twue she’s stiww cuwiows and feawwess, wike me!”

Luna gave Shining a glare as she commented. “Well, I for one would like to see your little stash. Celestia and I noticed there were cookies missing, but I didn’t expect you to be the thief. You should know better.” Shining sighed, seeing that he was caught. He reluctantly waddled over to the diaper drawer and lifted some of the diapers showing a hidden, false board. He removed it showing a stash of cookies, and candy.

Luna was surprised and whispered. “My goodness, you’ve been busy. Were you planning to sneak some sweets on the side?” She lifted the candy and cookies and as she did so she cooed. “I’m going to have to tell Cadence about this naughty behavior, she won’t be pleased,” Shining crossed his hooves with an adorable pout as Luna laid him and Sunburst down on the changing table. “But before I do that, I’m going to need to do another diaper change.”

The night princess then used her magic to strip them of their soggy diapers and placed them back into thick, cute, night time diapers. After that she placed them both back in their cribs to sleep as Luna turned her attention to Shining. “Now, I won’t tell Cadence about your little stash. But in return I need a promise from you that you’ll stay in your crib for the rest of the night.”

Shining sighed. “Fine, I pwomice.” Luna then kissed him on the forehead and left the room.

After Luna had left, Sunburst turned to Shining and blushed. “Sowie, I didn’t mean ta get ya into twobwe.”

Shining just snuggled under the blankets, hugging Brutus Force doll as he grumbled. “Just get some sweep, poopie head.”

Sunburst shrugged as he fell back under the covers.

The next morning Shining Armor and Sunburst were placed in the fillies’ nursery to play together. They were still groggy from last night though, so they were only playing with their own toys.

Sunburst turned to Shining (who was still pouting) and whispered. “Awe ya stiww mad at me? I said I sowie. What ewse do you want me ta do to make up fow it?”

Shining looked up. “Wew...how about we buiwd a towew and show it to ta big ponies? Ten tey gots to wet us go pway somewhewe mowe fun ten hewe.”

Flurry clapped her hooves and flapped her wings in excitement. “Tat sounds wike a good idea! Wets buiwd the biggest towew evew!”

Soon the four foals were all building a tower together out of giant foam blocks. Shining Armor was holding the tower with his magical shield, while Fizzlepop was busy trying to keep Sunburst afloat, holding him with her magic over the top of the tower while he tried to stack blocks onto each other.

Flurry Heart was busy digging through the chest, trying to find foam blocks. Whenever she did sh slowly dragged them one by one out from the chest. She set the blocks aside and turned to see the struggles her friends were having trying to keep the tower all together.

It looked like a wobbling mess of blue foam blocks as Shining shouted. “Somepony go get ta pwincesses! Tey need ta see owa towew!”

Flurry Heart was grunting as she exclaimed. “No! Dun go just yet! We need to make sure that the towew is as big as it can get!”

Sunburst whined. “But we aww using what’s weft of owa magic, we can’t hold on much longew!”

Flurry gave a nod as she rushed over, floating the blocks and throwing them at Sunburst. Sunburst grabbed them with his hooves and stacked the last few blocks, having them be right at the top of Shining’s shield. But the poor colt was quivering as his magic wasn’t strong enough to hold the blocks together for much longer. Fizzlepop herself was struggling to hold onto Sunburst, who was now floating over the top of the tower.

Flurry realized she didn’t have much time, and scurried out the door to go get the adults!

She flew down the hall on her giant wings, soon finding Cadence, Celestia and Luna all having tea and talking in the dining room. Flurry flew over and grabbed at Cadence’s hoof, pointing it down the hall. The Princess of Love was a bit confused but she (alongside her aunts) followed the little filly down the hall.

They eventually came to the little filly’s nursery and opened it up to see the giant tower of foam blocks, and the mares all gasped with astonishment at seeing how intelligent the foals were! They had to be pretty smart to create such a massive tower.

But just then, the strength of Shining’s magic failed as the shield dissipated with a pop! This made Fizzlepop lose her concentration, as she dropped Sunburst and the tower of foam blocks fell over and collapsed!

Flurry and Fizzlepop’s horns soon lit up (as did Shining and Sunburst’s), changing the foam blocks into thick diapers.The foals all fell into the crinkling padding, and the mares burst into laughter seeing the foals digging themselves out of the sea of diapers.

Cadence took Shining into her hooves and gave his diapers a few pats, finding it dry. “Oh, you’re such a cute little foal, Shining! Yes you are! Yes you are! I think you want to stay in diapers forever!”

Shining wiggled about and whined! “Nah uh, Cady! I can’t be in diapees fowevew! Besides, tat was just a magic suwge. I didn’ mean to tuwn aw tose bwocks into diapees! None of us did!” Shining pouted as the rest of the foals giggled.

Sunburst popped through the piles of diapers and shook about as one had somehow got stuck on his head. The mares dawwed as the little colt struggled to take it off, eventually doing so. Then Sunburst whimpered as he did a potty dance. “Um...can I go potty?!” He asked.

Shining whimpered, feeling the urge to go as well. “Yeah, me too!”

Celestia nodded. “Of course, little ones. And this time, Flurry Heart and Fizzlepop can watch. Children learn best by imitating their peers, after all.” She took the foals to the bathroom across the hall and plopped them down onto their potties. They both blushed as they sat there with all the princessess watching, as well as Flurry Heart and Fizzlepop. Still, they were eventually able to pee (and even poop in Shining’s case, much to his embarrassment) in their potties.

Shining shouted and cheered as he proudly stood up, the diaper dropping to his knees! ”I went potty! So tat mean we didn’t lose owa potty twaining! We haven’t had any big accidents, so ya gots to tuwn us back to at weast thwee yeaw olds!”

“We’ll see,” Cadence replied. “Remember, the agreement was that you needed to go a week without accidents. I can maybe overlook the one you had at the party, Shining. But only if you can go the rest of the week with no further accidents, especially after I age you and Sunburst up.”

Sunburst pouted. “So ya stiww keeping us in diapees? Tat’s so embewassin! It’d be easiew with puww-ups,” The orange coated colt then turned to Shining and asked. “Why did ya tuwn aw ta bwocks into diapees?”

Shining gave a deep blush and whimpered. “I dun know, I can’t contwow my magic suwges. My mommy even says tat one time I buwned off my diapee ‘cause I got so mad about someting!”

Cadence smirked as she cooed. “Well I’m glad you haven’t done that this time around,” Then she declared. “Now, I think there’s one more thing we need to do before you get the next helping of the potion,” She then showed them a little pamphlet. “There’s this adorable little pizza place call ‘Spike’s Land’. They just opened up and they have pizza, games, and a ball pit. All your friends are going to be there.”

Shining whined. “Bu can’t we go as toddwers, pwease? It’s so embewassin staying as babies!”

Cadence smiled. “Well...how about this?” She proposed. “If you can do this one thing for me for the rest of the day, I’ll turn you two into kindergarteners and put you in pull-ups for the rest of the week,” Both foals blinked with surprise as she continued. “Both of you have shown that you are almost fully potty trained and at this point the only real issue is bedwetting. That’s something that most foals eventually grow out of. And at the end of the week, if you don’t have anymore accidents after you’re aged up, you can both become adults again.”

“Does tat mean the big potty wiww come back? Fuwwy and Fizzwepop made it vanish by accident.” Shining commented.

Cadence nodded. “Rebecca Pie gave me a potion that will undo the other side effects of the magic surge. Everything will be just as it was before, though I’ll keep your training potties for when we need to potty train Flurry Heart and Fizzlepop,” Then she added. “But in order for all of that to happen, you need to be cute little babies and allow us to change your diapers if necessary.”

Shining sighed as Sunburst babbled. “Yeah, tats a deaw!”

The other mares gave nods as Luna picked up Sunburst. “Well then Cloudy, let’s get you all dressed up for the occasion.”

Celestia picked up Shining with her magic. “Same for you, cute little baby.” She then started to dress him up in a foal version of the armor he’d worn as Captain of the Royal Guard. But the chest plate was now a purple onesie with a big cloud printed on the middle, with his diaper bulging through the onesie. He had foal booties on his legs and a cute, purple bonnet that loosely resembled his helmet. Celestia couldn’t help but take out a camera and start taking photos.

Meanwhile, Luna took out a cute dark blue onesie for Sunburst with a crescent moon covering half the sun. He had little black booties as Luna giggled. “Now you’re a little eclipse!”

Sunburst rolled his eyes as Celestia burst into laughter. “Oh dear. Sister, if you ever have foals, I feel sorry for them.”

Luna scoffed at Celestia. “Oh shut it, sister! Look what you did to Shining. He looks like if one of your guards was regressed.”

Celestia blushed hard. “Don’t say that out loud, I would never do such a thing!” Under her breath she added. “Except on occasion when I want to make an example out of them and practice my mother skills.”

Cadence chuckled as she was dressing her little fillies in pink dresses, and placing bows in their mane and cooed. “Oh stop, we all know you wouldn’t do it, Aunt Celestia. Shining would find those cute little diapers all over your room. Now come on, let’s get going. The party will start soon. We don’t wanna be late.” The princesses then set all four foals into two strollers, one for the fillies and one for the colts.

Luna carried the diaper bags as they set off for a final romp with the foalified stallions.

They arrived at “Spike’s Land” and both Shining armor and Sunburst groaned seeing that the play place was so gaudy in its design of purple and green splattered all over the walls and floor, with a big cartoon version of Spike printed over everything.

The place was crowded with foals, playing in a ball pit or around the games with flashing lights and sounds. The parents were chatting at the benches not far from the play area so the adults could still watch their kids.

Nursery Rhyme was there along with the entire daycare class. They all turned around and cooed. “Oh, that’s so cute! Look at those two!” Nursery Rhyme exclaimed.

The stallions blushed as the rest of their classmates were giggling at them.

Nursery Rhyme turned to the disguised Celestia and Luna, not recognizing them. “Oh, you must be their mothers,” She smiled. “It’s so great to see you. Your foals were excellent students and I’m sorry to hear they won’t be attending my class anymore.”

They both giggled as Celestia cooed. “It’s nothing personal. We both wanted to move to Canterlot for awhile and we left our colts with Cadence to watch them as we did some house searching. We bought a house together so these two can continue playing together. At this point, they’re almost like brothers.”

The mare gave a nod. “That’s an excellent idea! In fact I think you’ll be pleased to hear that they did very well in my class. Both can do their ABCs and count to ten,” She turned to Shining and Sunburst. “How about you show your mommies what you learned?”

Shining sighed, and sang the ABCs and Sunburst counted to ten. The class clapped as Nursery Rhyme took out some shapes. They pointed to each one and the mare nodded. “Well done, you obviously know enough to graduate,” Then she commented. “But it looks like you’re still just foals. Did you shrink or something, little ones?”

Luna blushed and explained. “They were a little careless with some potions and got regressed. We’ll we’ll turn them back to normal before we leave. But I have to admit I kind of wouldn’t mind keeping them like this.”

“Well, I hope they can at least visit every once in a while. Crystal Shard and Crystal Clear in particular will miss you.”

The colts whimpered at the notion of visiting the daycare again. But Cadence cooed, ”Oh, I’m sure they will be glad to visit. Maybe we can do it two or three times a year.” Both colts gulped not knowing for sure if Cadence wasn’t just joking.

After the embarrassing goodbye to Nursery Rhyme, the regressed colts were now playing in the ball pit with the rest fo the foals and toddlers, tossing balls and generally having a good time swimming around in them. Shining groaned. “two or thwee times a year! No way I gonna do tat!”

Sunburst shrugged as he popped out of the ball pit and babbled. “Weww, when was ta wast time eithew of us gots a bweak? I dun tink I’ve fewt so weaxed in ages.”

Shining rolled his eyes and turned to see that his best friend was swimming in the balls. “Weww, if we gonna make tis ta wast day we see owa fwiends as babies, ten wets make this ta best! Wets go to ta big foaw games and win some pwizes!” He pointed over to the prize counter where a teenaged Crystal Pony was busy handing out prizes to school colts.

Sunburst nodded and replied. “Yeah, I agwee tat we gots to win tose pwizes! Wook at tat big foam swod, it so big and coow!”

Crystal Shard popped through the ball pit and cried. “No, I wan ta big foam swowd! Is so cool”

The filly Crystal Clear turned around and hugged Sunburst. “Can you win tat Dawing Do book? I dun know how to wead yet, but I weawwy wouwd wike to have it when I be bigger, ya know?”

Sunburst’s face grew deep red as he gave a nod. “Suwe...I dun mind.”

Both Flurry Heart and Fizzlepop burst through the ball pit and they both exclaimed. “We wanna go win pwizes too!”

Shining rolled his eyes and threw up a hoof! “Ten follow me, we gots pwizes ta win!” He then saw that the ball pit had a huge, pink colored magic barrier around it, and he smirked. “Tis is a easy bawwier to bweak, watch!” He concentrated his magic as a little blue shield broke through the pink. Then he instructed. “Fwuwwy, shoot a beam of magic thwough my shiewd!”

Flurry nodded, doing as she’d been told! Now there was a hole big enough for all the foals to crawl through.

After they escaped the ball pit, the foals all first went to a dance game with a huge screen over head and four flashing arrow pads on the ground. They looked up at the screen and Shining scoffed, then the little colt turned around and explained to his friends. “Tis game is hawd even fow big ponies, but thewe’s a way fow us to win. Fwuwwy, ya go on the down awwow, Sunbuwst ya stand on the weft one, Fizzlepop wiww take the wight one and I ta top one. Cwystaw Shawd, ya knows weft and wight and up and down bettew ten aw of us, so caw tem out whiwe we pway. Ta west of us only hit ya button when he says it.”

They all took their positions as Crystal Shard looked up and saw that the screen was flashing “Tokens Please!” He commented. “Um, we needs token. We dun gots any.”

Fizzlepop turned to the coin slot and she grunted, zapping it with magic and making the game shout. “This game will start in three seconds! Get ready!”

Soon, the game started and the music blasted through the speakers. The four foals were bouncing on their pads as Crystal Shard shouted out directions as the arrows came through the screen. They were, however, quite disorganized and kept missing notes. Eventually only two tickets pumped out of a slot. They groaned in disappointment as Shining took the tickets and stuffed them away into his diaper for safe keeping.

Crystal Shard looked down in defeat, but Shining Armor patted him on the back. “Ya did a good job. Thewe’s tons of othew games we can pway that’ww give us mowe tickets.”

“Otay,” Crystal Shard replied. “And aftew we gets aww the tickets, I needs ya to hewp me in tha bathwoom.”

“Can’t ya just get a gwown-up to hewp ya?” Shining asked.

Crystal Shard shook his head. “Nuh. Is someting onwy a foaw wike you can do. Just make suwe we awone and unnoticed.”

The foals then continued to look for another game, soon approaching a skee ball game. Flurry smirked. “I got’s tis. Fizzlepop, shock ta game!”

Fizzlepop nodded as she grunted and zapped the token slot! The game roared to life.

Flurry then grunted, hovering the balls with her magic and began firing the plastic balls into slots. Some bounced off while others through the wood. This time, after the game ended a dozen tickets came out of a slot and Shining happily shoved them into his diaper.

Fizzlepop waddled over and hugged Flurry. “Good job Fwuwwy, ya was gweat!”

Crystal Clear blushed. “Yeah, she gots tickets. But I tink she made a oopsie.” They turned to see the craters in the game and plastic balls shoved into the wall behind it.

Flurry blushed. “Wew, uh...wets just go befowe Mommy comes and gets mad at me.”

All the foals agreed and quickly left to find another game to play. They eventually came to to a “Whack-a-Diamond Dog” game and Crystal Shard, Shining and Sunburst all got on top of the game.

Fizzlepop waited for shining to say “go!”, before she shot the game with her magic and the fake Diamond Dogs began to appear. The three colts stomped down and continued to smash them with their hooves for quite some time as a huge line of tickets were pumped out of the machine. They all squealed as they took the tickets, and all shoved some into their diapers. Then they waddled over to a giant wheel.

Shining blushed. “Those shapes and cowows on the wheew awe too smaww. I can’t make tem out.”

ButCrystal Clear was counting with her hooves and squealed. ”Wook! I dun know how to wead but I know tat ta green squawe gets ya five tickets with four zeros after it. Tats mean its a weawwy big numbew!”

The foals all gasped as Shining gave a nod. “Ya wight! We giots ta pway this game and if we do we can get ya tose pwizes!”

They all turned towards the wheel and Fizzlepop zapped the wheel as it began to slowly rotate. It started going faster and faster as it picked up speed!

Shining groaned as he saw a giant lever near the wheel. “We gots ta puww tat thing when ta gween comes up, but its supew hawd! Tats how tey get ya!”

Fizzlepop and Flurry both nodded as they whispered and nodded. They turned to Shining as Flurry shouted. “Fizzy and I will stop ta wheew with magic, but we might need aw ya hewp!”

All foals nodded as they grunted and used their magic might to slowly stop the wheel. bBt it caused it instead to snap and their power slammed the wheel to a stop with the green now showing! The slot machine nearby then began to pop out tickets in a huge stream, flooding the floor with the purple colored paper making the foals squeal as they jumped into the sea of tickets they’d just won!

But all the commotion also caused the parents to turn over, seeing their foals swimming around in the tickets. And they squeaked as they rushed over and grabbed their foals, scolding them. They also took the tickets as Cadence sighed. “Oh dear, it looks like our naughty foals were cheating at the games.”

Celestia sighed. “But the ball pit had a magic barrier. How did they get through?”

They turned to Flurry and Shining who were both blushing while adopting the most guilty, wide-eyed look possible, and Cadence shook her head. “Yep, that proves it. Flurry’s naughtiness is from her father.” Shining growled and was going to snap back, but Cadence Shoved a pacifier into his mouth.

Celestia sighed. “Well, we should give these tickets back to the manager.”

The foals groaned as Luna commented. “If these games could be outmaneuvered by a bunch a babies, don’t you think they deserve them? Even with all the tickets they’ve won, I don’t think they’ll be able to buy more than a couple of prizes. If anything, it’s our fault for not keeping a closer eye on the foals.”

They foals all peered up at Cadence with pleading eyes, and she reluctantly relented. “Alright, but any tickets left over are going back to the manager. And I’m paying for the highest amount of tokens you can buy in one purchase,” She then went over to the prize counter with the thousands of tickets and set them down. “We will take…”

Crystal Shard pointed at the big foam sword. “I wan tat!”

Crystal Clear blushed and asked. “Can I have the Dawing Do book. pwease?”

The attendant got the sword and the book and gave them to Cadence who turned to see a dozen packages of silly filly nighttime adult diapers. She blinked and asked the attendant. “What are those doing here?”

The teenage crystal pony blushed and stammered “Oh, those? I have no idea how those got there! We most certainly don’t stack diapers here.”

Cadence smirked, sensing that they had probably caused by a magic surge from the foals and cooed. “Well, I’ll use the rest of the tickets to take all of them.” She took them into her magic before depositing bits for the amount of tokens it would take to get over a thousand tickets.

Both Shining and Sunburst gulped, wondering if another magic surge may have made their lives even more embarrassing.

Crystal Shard (now brandishing his foam sword), whispered to Shining. “Otay, Shining. Befowe we weave hewe, we gots to stop at the bathwoom. Bu we needs a divewsion so ta gwon-ups dun notice us.”

Shining smirked, eyeing Luna’s diaper bag and Sunburst’s onesie. “I gots an idea,” He whispered to Crystal Shard. “Hewe’s wha we gonna do.”
