Fly to the Stars and Back (Redone)

“My king.” A changeling hissed as he woke Blitz from his nap.

Blitz groaned as he shot up. “Are they okay?”

“Yes, they have also regained consciousness and are now holding their foals.” The changeling warrior says.

Blitz quickly rushes in and finds them both laying on their sides as they both smiled at him. “Hey Blitz. Come see your new foals.” Rainbow said as they faced each other.

Blitz walks over and Pinkie moves the blanket out of the way to let him see a little red earth filly with her mother’s pink mane and tail drinking her milk. “This is Sunshine Smile.”

Rainbow chuckles a little as she moves her out of the way to let him see two bundles against her. “Say hello to Lightning Blast.” She said pointing to the light blue unicorn colt with Blitz’s mane color sleeping soundly. “And this is Rainbow Spectrum.” She said pointing to the little light purple pegasus filly with half of her mother’s mane colours. “Twins, I can’t believe it. I was carrying twins.”

“Mom!” Blitz calls.

Mary suddenly barges in and actually comes over so fast, she creates a smoke trail. “Oh boy, I can’t believe this. Where are they?” She asks looking around.

“In their mother’s hooves and I was going to ask if you can add another set of foal supplies?” Blitz asks.

Mary grins. “Of course I will. They’re my grandfoals.”

“Sunshine Smile, Lightning Blast, and Rainbow Spectrum.” Blitz says.

Mary laughs and hugs him. “Oh Blitzy. You certainly can make a mother and a wife happy.”

“Yes, now I want a closer look at them.” Blitz says.

Rainbow and Pinkie smile as he sits down and let’s them see the foals. “My foals, my family.” He said looking closely at Lightning and Rainbow before looking at Sunshine who was now looking at him with sleepy eyes before closing them and snores actually with a giggle in between. “Wow. She is a lot like her mother.”

“Which one?” Pinkamena asks.

Blitz smiles and kisses her head. “Both of them. I love you both. So?” Blitz asks, raising his eyebrows.

Pinkamena sighs. “Idiot.” She said smiling now.

“So should I wear my armor for when I see your sis…” Blitz was cut off when the door opened and in walked Maud.

“So, where’s the foal?” Maud asks in the same tone she always had.

Blitz points to the foal in Pinkamena’s hooves. Maud walks over and pets the sleeping head of the foal gently. “She’s beautiful. You did a good job Pinkie.”

Blitz, seeming this, tries to sneak away. “Where are you going? At least sleep at night.” Rainbow said, noticing him.

“She will kill me.” Blitz mouths to her before a knife embedded itself, not an inch from the right side of his head.

Pinkamena puts her hoof down. “Blitz, go away. You can stay with them the next night.” She said before putting her head down and starting to close her eyes.

“Yes ma’am.” Blitz says the color drained from his face as Maud grabbed his hoof.

Maud stares at him. “Stay, the foals needs you also. I’ll make sure she doesn’t do anything.”

“Ok. Truth be told, more scared of you than her.” Blitz says.

Maud moves him over and has him sit down. “She doesn’t say it, but she needs you. So be there for her.”

“Ok…so going to inform the rest of your family?” Blitz asks.

Maud nods. “Have to. They always have to know how their daughter is doing.”

“So you are also going to inform them that Celestia declared war on the family to banish Arcane?” Blitz asks.

Maud nods. “Yes, I have to also inform them of that. Are you going to kill her?”

“She tries anything again. I will make an example out of her. Nothing threatens my family and lives.” Blitz says.

Maud now smiled. “Just don’t kill her. Then you would be seen as a tyrant yourself. After all, everypony as different views and they would see their own way.”

“I really don’t care how others see me, besides I owe her. She had Shadow tortured along with the other Shadowbolts. She is taking up a huge debt with me and I will collect at this rate.” Blitz says.

“Maybe you are good enough for her.” Maud says.

“Thanks.” Blitz says.

Maud sighs. “I better get the message sent. I’ll come back in the morning.” She said before walking away as Rainbow smiled at him.

“Love your new life?” Rainbow asks.

Blitz sighs as he puts his head back against the chair. “Yep, with all of you and my foals here.”

Rainbow nods and puts her head down. “Good. Night.”

Blitz smiled. “Night.”

“Cross, come in, Cross, this is Ghost Eye.”

“This is Cross, what is it?” Blitz says.

“We got the location of the dragon who we have identified as Ridley. Upon doing a subterranean scan, we found a base filled with space pirates.” Ghost Eye says.

“Roger that.” Blitz says seriously.

“Also, there will be something there to guide you and no, it’s not Mandalore.” Ghost Eye said.

Blitz gets curious. “And who’s that?”

“Someone named Spike.”

“I see, the young soon to be Lt. Commander. Unfortunately, my fighter is currently out of fuel and the Darkstar is also running on fumes.” Blitz says.

“The Lt. Commander saw that. He asked for Mandalore to give you some help. Something about Zoids.” Ghost Eye said.

“Ghost Eye, repeat that. Did you just say Zoids?” Blitz says as Rainbow sees him with a huge smile and shivering every so often.

“Repeat, he is sending Zoids. Apparently the Lt. Commander wants a ground assault.” Ghost Eye said.

“Tell the Commander roger that and I will assume command when I arrive.” Blitz says.

“Ghost Eye copies. Will pass the message.”

Blitz drops his hoof before actually giggling and jumping in place. “Oh boy, oh boy.”

Rainbow smiled. “Great, we got a big foal as well.” She jokes, petting Spectrum’s mane.

Blitz stops in mid-step. “Oh, sorry.” He said quickly, placing a hoof behind his head and trying to look innocent.

“Oh how adorable.” Pinkamena says, smirking at him.

Blitz still was chuckling before he hears the foals yawn and wake up. He smiles and walks to them and nuzzles them as they all look at him. “Hey there, I’m your dad.”

“So the Space Pirates have a base on the planet?” Pinkamena asks.

Blitz sighs and gently pets the foals’ head. “Unfortunately. I now have to go and deal with it. Get them off at least so we don’t have to worry about it.”

“How long has it been there?” Rainbow asks.

“Well, I would say being so secret, it had to have been made y…” Blitz stops as his eyes shoot wide open in realization.

They both look at him. “What?” Pinkamena asks.

“Something just clicked.” Blitz says seriously.

Rainbow sits up a bit. “And what is that?”

“I always wondered why those bounties ran here. Now it makes sense. They were seeking asylum in the space pirates base.” Blitz says before turning on his communicator. “Girls, can you come here and someone get the maps and files label B.C. in my room?” Blitz asks.

“I’m closest, I’ll get it.” Shadow said before every other mare responded with something else random.

“Daring, bring a map of where we first met as well.” Blitz says.

“Sure thing. I think I got it somewhere here.” Daring said.

“Blitz what’s all of this about?” Rainbow asks.

“It’s all a little too convenient now that I think of it.” Blitz says.

Pinkamena sits up as well. “What do you mean?”

Blitz sighs. “You know the original reason I came here?”

“Chasing bounties.” Pinkie says as she rolls around with her daughter a bit.

Blitz nods. “Yeah, those guys were probably not coming here to cause more mayhem, but hiding. Hiding from something possibly badder than me.”

“Or working for.” Shadow says walking in.

Blitz nods and takes the files from her. “That too.” He said taking them out and putting them down on a table before setting up a huge map of Equestria and starts pinning pictures of each of the bounties.

“What are you looking for?” Daring ask.

“Ah Daring, can you show me right where that space ship was located in the valley?” Blitz asks.

Daring nods and points to a canyon. “Right here.”

“Calculating the location and position, I would say the course was like this.” Blitz says running a simulation on his communicator. “Which means the ship was damaged before entering the atmosphere.”

Daring looks at him. “And you think the one who hired them is the one who wanted them to keep quiet?”

“I can’t say because with the discovery of the pirate base, it’s impossible to tell and now take a look at each location of the bounties. Why would they be so spread out?” Blitz asks.

Daring looks at it carefully. “Guess it would be for running away.”

“Or the escape pods ejecting at certain angles.” Blitz says.

The two mares walk up beside him. “So what are you going to do?” Shadow asks.

“I think the terrorist and the pirates are connected somehow.” Blitz says staring at it.

Daring nods. “And what are you going to do?”

“Look into this more for starters.” Blitz says. “Minerva, get me a status report on all these bounties.” Blitz says.

“Checking their tags.” Minerva said. “Status: Dead. Sorry Blitz.”

“No, that confirms it someone wanted them silenced with their capture.” Blitz says.

Rainbow now fully sits up. “Then this is a problem. How long would this be?”

“Judging by their time off deaths, they seem at random, but take everything else into account and they stop looking that way.” Blitz says.

Daring turns him around slightly. “Blitz, what are you going to do in the meantime?”

“Well, I think I will go and conquer a pirate base for starters. Maybe it will give a few more hints.” Blitz says.

Shadow leans against him. “Then you better go and deal with it as soon as possible.”

“Can’t, they are delivering something to him.” Pinkie says walking over with her daughter in her hair.

Blitz looks at her. “You shouldn’t be out of bed. And yes, they are getting a new ride for me. A type of vehicle I love.”

“Which means…” Daring says with a look in her eye that Shadow shared.

Blitz grins. “Yep, I’m getting a bad flank vehicle. Possibly more cooler than the jet.”

“I’ll take the right, you take that left.” Shadow says.

Both Daring and Shadow moves beside him and nuzzles against his body. “How about now?” Shadow asks.

“He has requested. To his room.” Daring says before winking at Rainbow and Pinkie.

They both drag him off before they get stopped by Lightning at the door. “He promised me when we got back.” She said, pulling him by the collar. “Come on honey.” She said dragging him along.

“He didn’t say we couldn’t join in.” Daring says, following.

Blitz just sweats a little. “Oh boy. Can’t I have a say in some of this stuff?”

Shadow grins before stopping. “Um…actually, can I have him alone? It’s personal.”

Lightning looks at her in silence for a bit. “Ok, go and try and make a foal.”

Shadow smiles before taking Blitz’s hoof and leads him off before taking him to a room that Twilight setup for each of them. She sighs as she closes the door behind them and just stares at the door. “You know why I’m doing this, right?”

“Yes, I do.” Blitz says before kissing her.

Spike sighs as he looks on to the aftermath of the battle. After all the scrap and explosions settled. Only the mothership, which got away, and a few cruisers were left behind which are now being boarded. “Overall numbers?” He asks the commanders.

“Ninety percent still combat operative.” A communication officer reports.

Spike sighs as he brings it all on screen. “And our ten percent, what did we lose?” The officer sends him a report on it. “Damn it.” He said to himself as he saw that most of it was drones, but the rest of them were the starfighters.

“The enemy also sacrificed several of its ships to land some planetside.” Mandalore says.

Spike sighs. “Does it matter when you lose on your own, when you know you could have gotten them out? They did it intentionally.”

“That’s the life of military and pirates.” Mandalore says.

Spike looks back at him. “I get why most do it, but why do those who don’t really have a reason fight?”

“They have reasons.” Mandalore says walking away.

Spike still stared at the numbers as Slender walked up behind him and put her hooves around him. “You okay?”

“No.” Spike says.

Slender looks up as well. “Then what are you now?”

“I’m…” Spike starts.

“The transport to the planet is ready.” An officer says.

Spike nods and moves away. “Let’s go. We worried them long enough.” He said walking away.

“Spike.” Slender says.

“So was it worth the wait?” Blitz asks.

Lightning nods as she sleeps on his chest with Daring. “Yeah, is Shadow fine?”

Blitz nods and nuzzles them. “Yeah, she’s fine now. Really loved it too.”

Lightning looks over to the cloud bed now far away and sees her sleeping on it with a huge smile.

Blitz sighs as he lays back. “So, now that I have dealt with you, can you tell me the order of you girls?”

“No.” Lightning says bluntly.

Blitz frowns playfully. “Now you girls are no fun.”

“Except we were playing with you for a long time and you were loving it.” Daring said looking up at him.

Blitz chuckles as he sits up now. “Yeah, at least I got you all.”

Daring gets out of bed and shakes herself. “So who wants breakfast?”

“Mine just got up.” Blitz jokes.

Daring chuckles as she shakes her flank at him. “Really, you want a piece of me?”

“No, I want the whole thing. Oh wait, I already got it.” Blitz jokes.

The mares laugh as they hear a groan. “If it is not really breakfast, then shut up. I like to sleep because my legs hurt. Ow.” Shadow said, raising her head slightly.

Blitz walks over and smiles at her. “Hey love.” He says at eye level.

Shadow smiled at him before giving him a kiss on the nose. “Hey, thanks for using that suit again and for…you know.”

Blitz nods and nuzzles her nose with his. “I know. Want to travel on my back until we get to the dining hall?”

Shadow nods before slowly getting off and getting onto his back. “Onward.” She said pointing forward.

“Ok.” Blitz says walking forward feeling Shadow wrap her tail around his.

Lightning and Daring smiled as they followed them and found the rest of the mares eating away, especially with the new foals. “Hey guys, how are they?” Blitz asks, setting Shadow into a seat.

“There you are.” Octavia says cleaning Azure’s face.

Blitz chuckles as he sits down near Twilight and some changelings give some of the food to him. “Thanks.” He said before turning back to them. “Well, we might get three more soon enough.”

“I wonder where you went.” Applejack says rubbing against him.

Blitz smiled and looked at her. “Missed me last night?”

“What do y’all think?” Applejack says.

Twilight giggles as she wraps a wing around him and Arcane jumps onto his back before going onto Applejack’s and starts to do her mane. “I think we all miss you. Now eat and Applejack, do you like braids in your mane?” She asks while holding some food up to Blitz by magic.

“Arcane has tired, but my mane is just too short for him.” Blitz says smirking.

Applejack frowns a bit before looking back at him and seeing Arcane finished up a braid before moving on to another batch. “Well, I could get used to it.” She said now looking carefully at the braid. “Even knows how to tie it without bands too.”

“Oh, I have an idea.” Blitz says bring out his desperado hat and put it on Arcane. Arcane coos as he moves it out of his view. Blitz then uses his magic to shrink the hat to where it gets his size. Arcane laughs and claps his hooves as he looks at it.

“I think he likes it.” Blitz says.

Applejack chuckles. “Yeah, but would you send him to the farm for work?”

Blitz smiled as he saw Arcane returning to braiding her mane. “Soon, just give it time.”

Twilight sighs as she leans back in her seat as everyone else still eats. “Blitz, have you seen Spike? As for that matter, where’s our little fillies that usually cause trouble?”

“Spike, I can tell you. As for the CMC. I have been out of the loop too long. Spike is being trained to be a commander.” Blitz says.

They all stop and look at him. “Excuse me?” Twilight asks.

“Not my idea. Mandalore saw potential and had him trained.” Blitz says.

Twilight now looks at him carefully. “And he just went with it?”

“Best ask him, he is coming down to the planet.” Blitz says petting Twilight’s mane.

Twilight purrs before slapping his hoof away. “Dang it Blitz.”

Blitz chuckles as he keeps eating. “Too cute, as always. At least we are back again. Though I will warn you all, I’m going to deal with a base soon. I still got a few days before that though. So I’m spending it with family here, especially my kids.” He said, looking at them all.

“And at night, you are all ours.” Shadow says.

Blitz grins. “Yeah, though give me a break here. I just dealt with three of you.”

“Nope.” Applejack says.

Blitz sighs. “Dang it. Then could you go easy?”

All the mares lean in. “What do you think?” They all ask.

Blitz groans. “I see sore areas in my future.”

Pinkie bounces over with Sunshine laughing in her mane. “And showers.”

Blitz groans. “Please give me something to steer it away.”

“Hey girls.” Spike said walking in with Slender.

Blitz sighs in relief. “Thank you.”

“You!” Rarity yells at Slender.

“Oh no.” Blitz corrects himself and Rarity starts throwing things.

Slender just stood still as her tendrils grab every single thing. “Is this about your sister?”

“You dang right it is.” Rarity yells, throwing a chair now. “Where are they?”

Spike sighs. “They should be here in a moment. Now can everyone just be quiet for a minute. I just came by to grab some food and head for my room.” He said, grabbing some food.

“Spike.” Twilight says hugging him.

Spike barely reacts, but leans into the hug. “Hey Twi. Sorry for going away without telling.”

“We will talk about that later. Arcane.” Twilight calls.

Arcane looks up and then cheers before jumping off Applejack’s back and running to him before stopping and looks up at him and coos at him.

Spike smiles and pets him. “Hey, guess I’m sort of the uncle or big brother.”

“Big brother.” Twilight clarifies.

Spike sighs. “Yeah, guess I am.”

“Rarity, put down the machete!” Blitz calls.

Slender just stands there as she cuts the tendrils. “That doesn’t hurt you know.”

“I will kill you for foalnapping my little sister.” Rarity says before Blitz restrains her.

Slender looks carefully at her. “I called them for help. For Spikey Wikey over there.” She said pointing to him, now playing a bit with Arcane and the others.

“Rarity, calm down, we have to find them first.” Blitz says as Rarity throws the machete at Slender’s head.

Slender just moves her head to the side. “After all, don’t you also care about Spike? You don’t want to see him down and out forever?”

“I will kill you.” Rarity growls.

Slender nods. “I see, so you don’t care about him. Alright then, Sweetie Belle, what do you think?” She asks at the door.

“I think my sister is right now, very hysterical. You sure she isn’t pregnant?” Sweetie Belle asks walking in with the others.

Slender chuckles. “Trust me. She doesn’t have the anger of a real pregnant mare. That was more like sister rage.”

“Sweetie Belle!” Rarity yells as Blitz let’s go of her and she hugs Sweetie Belle tight. “Oh, I was so worried. She didn’t do anything to you, did she? Quick, show me where she touched you.” She says looking her over.

Sweetie Belle pushes her away. “No, she didn’t do anything. She merely asked for us to help Spike and we agreed.”

“Apple Bloom, I hope you’re ready to get grounded.” Applejack says.

Apple Bloom just huffs. “For what, helping a friend?”

“For running off from yer home for months and worrying everypony.” Applejack says.

“That is right. You will be grounded as well Sweetie Belle.” Rarity says.

Both of them just look at each before looking at them. “If it was for Spike, fine.” Apple Bloom said.

Both mares just stared at them. “Why would you say that?” Applejack asks.

Scootaloo shakes herself a bit. “Because Spike was feeling down after he realized that some of the training was real and he almost lost real lives. Slender knew she couldn’t do it on her own so she called us and boy were they really messing with him. He almost had an emotional breakdown, three times. Probably would have if it wasn’t for us.”

“The facts still remain, you ran off with no word and left us worrying about you.” Both say sternly.

Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle both hold out their hooves. “If it’s for Spike, we’ll do it.” Sweetie Belle said.

“I say a month is sufficient, don’t you think?” Rarity asks.

Applejack shakes her head. “Oh heck no. They left for months on end. Might as well give them the same time.”

“Two months?” Rarity asks as Spike had finished playing and was leaving with the food.

Applejack taps her chin. “I’m thinking two and a half.” She said as Spike puts something into each of the fillies’ manes before leaving, with Slender now playing with the foals.

“Seems a little bit excessive.” Rarity says.

Applejack huffs. “I think it’s just right and how about some free labor? Work at the farm with no pay also to go along with it. Which means no allowances.” She suggested as all three fillies looked through their mane and pulled out something to see a note and smiled at it before putting it back.

“Can’t. Need Sweetie Belle’s help at my shop and we can’t speak for Scootaloo.” Rarity says.

“I’ll take care of it and for her, no flying around the same amount of time.” Rainbow said.

“Weee.” Pinkie says rolling around with her daughter, getting confused looks from the CMC.

“Why is Pinkie foalsitting?” Scootaloo asks.

Rainbow waves her off. “So, two or two and a half?”

“Two.” Rarity says.

“I say two and a half.” Applejack argues.

“How about you both be quiet.” Blitz said behind them. Both eeped. “As for your earlier question Scoots, that is Sunshine Smile, her daughter.”

All three looked surprised at that. “She…had a daughter?” Sweetie Belle asks.

Blitz nods. “Yep and Rainbow here got twins. Lightning Storm and Rainbow Spectrum.” He said before turning to the two mares. “And Slender was right. Spike is still fragile and she alone can’t keep him in shape if he finds out he killed some troops and he realizes he could have done something about it. If they didn’t go, we would be seeing him in a psychiatric hospital. Now, if they told you, would you have let them go?”

“No, they still need to be punished for their actions.” Both says

“You know, both of you sound like mothers now.” Blitz says.

They both blush. “Still punished.” Rarity said.

Blitz nods. “Two months Applejack, at most.” Blitz says. Applejack growls a bit. “And they are still allowed to see Spike half the time. He’s bonded with them in a dragon sort of way. Keep him away and he would do anything to see them. I mean, look at the notes in their mane.” He said to which both mares look through their sister’s mane and find notes in there.

Applejack opens it. “What is…oh, if you get grounded, I’ll try and see you if I can figure out the schedule.” She reads before taking out a small picture. “And this picture has them on a ship with Spike and Slender and they’re…happy.” She said, noting the smiles.

Blitz sighs in a bit of relief. “See, now then, go see Twi on how dragons are in this stage. I think we should all hear it.”

Rarity clicks her tongue. “Please, he’s with her and…”

“Quiet.” Blitz said suddenly.

Rarity recoils back. “Blitz, wha…”

Blitz stares at her. “I can’t have hatred like this. Besides, taking care of family is worth the pain sometimes. Right girls?” He asks the CMC.

“Right.” They chorused before being pounced on by the foals and laughed from their attempts to beat them.

“Now for your first punishment, you can paint the new fence outside.” Blitz says.

Twilight gets confused. “When did we get a fence?”

Blitz smirks. “When Daring wanted to try the Equestrian dream. By the way, how’s the setup for the lake house?” He asks her.

“It’s renovated.” Daring says.

Blitz chuckles. “How about when I finish dealing with this base, we all head there? Just all of us and just relax from all this?”

“After you deal with Celestia?” Daring asks.

Blitz holds the hoof in the air. “After I deal with her. No doubt she would be sending guards there which means I have to send some of ours there.”

“Tell me where it is and I will.” Twilight said.

Daring smiled. “Just don’t have them touching my new electronic toys.”

Blitz looks at her. “You renovated it with new tech?”

Daring smirks. “The whole nine yards. Equestrian and your mandalorians.”

Blitz stares at her. “You made them have a movie network installed, right?”

Daring chuckles. “What fun would it be without movie night? Now then, what are we doing today?”

“Having fun.” Blitz says smirking as Applejack and Rarity escort the CMC outside.

Twilight smiled. “Oh boy, better place multiple changelings on guard. How about our new playground in the back?”

Blitz looks at her now. “Okay, what other buildings and projects did I miss?”

“We will show you.” Rainbow says as she smiles at her foals who just woke up.

Blitz smiled before seeing everypony getting up and most of the mares then went over to him before lifting him onto their back. “Um…?”

“You worked enough.” They said heading outside.

Blitz sighs as he opens his eyes and sees the troops being led down from the ship. “Spike, where’s our rides?” He asks as he gets up and moves over to them on the makeshift base.

“Should be there in a few. I still need a few things from that base, remember that.” Spike said as he watches from a mobile, yet very small simulation center.

“I’m more interested in that Zoid Mandalore sent and…ah, Gustav.” Blitz says as few Gustav pulling carts with tarps over them.

Spike sighs. “Hope you like the new presents. I think yours should be in front. I’ll tell ya, he’s…something.”

“Ah, so you have seen the Zoids then?” Blitz asks as Twilight walks up.

“How could I have not? After seeing them on camera on the Darkline, he actually asked if I wanted to see them. Faced your favorite one too. Got something crazy in him.” Spike said as he watches him on the cameras from the base.

Blitz slowly turns his head. “What did you just say?” Blitz asks.

Spike was about to respond when he remembered what Mandalore told him. “Don’t tell Blitzkrieg, I am sending him his Genosaurer. I want it to be a surprise.” Spike sighs. “Actually why don’t pull the tarp yourself?” He asks him.

“I see.” Blitz says before turning to Twilight. “Love, how did your brother and your parents take Celestia’s actions against our son?” Blitz asks.

Twilight sighs. “Well, my BBBFF is thinking of giving a stern talking to her along with my sister in law. And my parents decided to come to the castle to watch over him at any time since any guard might attack.”

“That is why I’m letting Terran stay with him.” Blitz says.

Twilight smiled. “You think Arcane would like him?”

Blitz chuckles. “Terran always takes care of family.”

“And the fact Arcane is riding on his back as we speak.” Spike says.

“How do you know that?” They both ask.

“Remember the cameras Blitz installed in the castle?” Spike asks.

Twilight looks at Blitz. “You think we should limit his access to systems?”

“Already done.” Blitz says.

“Sorry Blitz, secondary.” Spike said. “Besides, how else would I know if Celestia comes in? You might be busy at one point.”

“Oh, didn’t you see already?” Blitz asks.

“See what?” Spike asks.

Blitz shows them a video of a solar guard trying to sneak in, unfortunately, he was vaporized.

“What did you set them to and by that I mean tags?” Spike asks.

“Oh, I have all the records of the solar guards, even the unofficial ones and I set the defence system to vap.” Blitz says.

“So kill?” Spike asks.

“Yeah.” Blitz says.

Twilight looks at him carefully. “You know, this isn’t helping our case.”

“Neither is Celestia sending her guards to kill Arcane.” Blitz says.

Twilight sighs. “At least stun them. Set them straight.”

“Yeah not really an option with quite a few. Turns out Celestia likes brainwashed obedient pawns.” Blitz says showing her some papers recorded with his communicator.

Twilight sighs as she looks at them. “Guess she is going off the deep end. You really intend to take her off the throne?”

“She has been doing this a hundred years if not longer according to this and yes or we may eventually have another ruler like Sombra was.” Blitz says. Twilight was about to rebuke that, but recalls Celestia used dark magic in front of her in the past. “Yes?” Blitz asks.

Twilight sighs. “At least he turned out to be good. I just hope Celestia follows his example.”

“Well he didn’t rule long before Celestia and Luna invaded the crystal empire and conquered.” Blitz says.

Twilight nods and looks over to the tarps. “You better go and finish this up. I’m hoping to at least stay by you as we watch something.” She said as she starts to lean against him and nuzzles him.

“And this is where I get off until you get going.” Spike said.

“Alright, get the tarps off the Zoids.” Blitz orders.

The troops starts pulling off the tarps and Blitz stops at the one in front. “Is that…Genosaurer?”

“He was right. You would like it.” Spike said.

Twilight looks to Blitz, but finds him gone and looks back to see Blitz hugging the Genosaurer. Twilight just stares at him before stifling a giggle with her hoof. “Spike, is he that much in love with it?” Twilight asks Spike.

“Apparently it is the third member of his team and he, while piloting it, conquered a planet.” Spike says.

Twilight still tries to stifle a giggle as he starts to nuzzle it and the Genosaurer just looks down at him. “Does it say how much he likes that thing?”

“Well he must have really bonded.” Spike says.

Blitz chuckles as he lets go of the hug and looks up to the Genosaurer. “You ready to bring mayhem once again?” The Genosaurer just roars into the air before it bends down a little for him to get on. “Oh yeah, now things are fun.” Blitz says getting in.

Spike chuckles. “Okay, the base should be ahead about a few miles. Careful though, apparently there are some patrols and you are already going.” He said seeing them all run off now with Twilight waving at them. “I suppose I should mention the electrical field on the ground and turrets scattered throughout the base. Then there’s that dragon. Oh well, he and that thing can handle it.” He said to himself, shrugging.

Blitz cheers as he finally gets the feeling back. “It feels so good to be back with you again. And about to fuck things up again too.” Blitz says before turrets raised with the space pirate’s armored vehicles. Blitz turns serious. “Alright, let’s destroy them completely.” Blitz says as the Genosaurer stops and anchors itself to the ground.

Everyone else and their Zoids did their part at keeping them at bay before the Genosaurer has the cannon on it’s back light up before recoiling back a little as it sent off a charged particle beam from its mouth and all the things got caught in it were obliterated, while all the things near them either melted or were burned into ash in moments.

Blitz smirks as the beam dies down and he unachors him out of the ground. “Just like the old days. Let’s give that a break and see if everything else works.” He as the Genosaurer roars before starting to fire from the laser on it’s back.

Spike smiled as he watched the whole thing. “So…how are you doing?”

Blitz smiled. “Like I’m back in the old days. At least this time, I’m really doing some damage.” He said before a shield made of hexagonal pieces came up around the main base. “Okay, that can hinder it.”

“Unless I shoot at the underground generator.” Blitz says before starting to scan as the other zoids catch up and the rest of the forces start bombarding the shield with fire.

Spike sighs. “I would think they would be smart enough to have it inside the shield at least. Have it outside and well…even the worst bad guy would know not to do that.”

“Something like this requires huge amounts of power and a power generator that size can be very unstable so they would require many smaller generators to power the shield without fear of a meltdown.” Blitz says.

“And how far are you?” Spike asks.

“The shield is just on top of the mountain and most likely doesn’t go beneath the ground. So have three options, one, we keep up the assault until the shield collapses which could take months. Two, we tunnel beneath the shield and attack them or three, we find and destroy the power generator or the shield generator and take it out of commission.” Blitz says.

Spike nods. “Then take it out. Though we need to find it first.”

“Which is why I am scanning instead firing again.” Blitz says.

“And?” Spike asks.

“Got one, the other is on the other side of the base.” Blitz said, sending the data. “I got the one here. Direct the ships to take out the other for me.”

“Sure.” Spike said as some of the ships above start to move away.

“Geno, let’s melt our way to it.” Blitz says, starting to fire the lasers on the back of the Genosaurer’s back.

Genosaurer roars and charges at the pirates as they personally come out and try to deal with them with flying units too. Genosaurer aims it’s back to them before looking around and ends up on the generator and while the laser fires it. The armor either started to melt from the assault or it started to buckle under the assault as the Genosaurer started to first use the gun on its head at any enemy that came into view and clenched its claws grabbing a tank and cutting through it with the claw.

Blitz then sees a panel fall and sees a round machine with an orange pylon on top, sending electricity through it and sending it to the shield through a lightning strike each time it looks like the shield starts to fall. “Take it out.” Blitz said to which the Genosaurer roars and spins, aiming to destroy it with a tailwhip.

The generator gets hit and starts to spark from the dented area before the lights on it die down and the pylon goes from it’s orange color to the same color at its body as the shield starts to look like it’s dimming out. “First one out. How’s your end?” Blitz asks.

“Well, we were able to unveil it before our fighters got shot out of the sky by some air turrets. Either you deal with it on your own or take out the turrets and then you can head over to the entrance of the base and let the new fighters take out the generator.” Spike said.

“Give me the coordinates.” Blitz says.

Spike sighs. “Sending. Go deal with it, but careful. With the fighters out of the sky and I had to pull them back, they might turn to you.”

“Let them if they have a death wish.” Blitz says.

“Your wish.” Spike said as the generator spot came online.

Blitz launches the Genosaurer’s claw which tears through a pillar of stone as those trying to hide behind it ambush them and they scream as they were either crushed by falling debris or were unfortunate enough to be cut in half by the claw.

Blitz looks to the area and soon leads the Genosaurer to the other side of the base and actually runs over and stomps a vehicle and the many pirates trying to hit them. “Useless bobble, don’t worry about them. Let’s get rid of the last one and we can kill many more.” He said to which the Genosaurer roars in acceptance and soon was peppered by turret fire as they approached the area.

“Unfortunately for you, we have the range.” Blitz says as he targets the turrets outside of their range.

The turrets soon either died down from the laser fire that cut their circuitry or exploded from the fire and soon most of them fell from the fire and only one was left as it seemed to look around before looking back at them. “Yeah, you’re dead.” Blitz said through the speaker system before they fire at it and make it explode. “Onto the generator.” Blitz calls out. Genosaurer roars again before proceeding before they came to the generator with it’s own barrier. “Oh, wise guys huh? Well, lets see how they handle a charged particle gun shot.” Blitz says smirking as the Genosaurer anchored itself again.

The Genosaurer roars as it opens its mouth and aims at the generator before charging up a shot and firing at it to which the shield holds up a bit before the particle beam went right through it and makes the generator explode and the pirates close by before the beam dies down and the Genosaurer closes its mouth and unanchors itself. “Nice, now then.” Blitz said, looking to the base and sees the shield start to dim down and soon falls.

“Shield down, all units, commence assault. Zoids, lead the charge and no, that doesn’t mean those piloting Gustavs.” Blitz says on the radio.

He gets a chorus agreement as most of the forces finish off the pirates in front of them and starts to move into the base as some ships fly overhead and bomb the base, making holes in the thin buildings. “Sending teams into it by foot. Blitz, you better go out and meet up. Scans show they went underground a bit.” Spike said. “I’m sure he’s eager to do things on his own for a bit.”

“Who needs to get out? Geno, show Spike what you can do.” Blitz says.

Spike raises an eyebrow as the Genosaurer roars and then backs up a little before charging at the front entrance and smashes through it, firing most of what it had after a while. “Really Blitz? You sometimes take the fun out of stuff. Besides, I need some tech and some of the ships can really use it.”

“You can just as easily obtain it from the black market. Samus, come in, where are you?” Blitz asks.

“Landing now. I’m outside the base and…why is there a giant hole in the front door?” Samus asks.

“I told him and I don’t want to do a black market deal. I rather put these things to better use than blowing it up to kingdom come.” Spike said.

“That’s my secret weapon. Lets see Ridley stand up to it.” Blitz says as Samus joins the mandalorians charging in.

“Remember, I want to fight him alone.” Samus said as she saw the ramping Zoid ahead.

“Fight him if you want, I’m only interested in capturing this base.” Blitz says as Genosaurer crushes a turret with its claw. “Stay behind me and Genosaurer as we clear the way.”

“Good, he and I had a score to settle.” Samus said as she kept following until they ended up close to the middle of the base.

“You guys should be close to the middle now. Scan shows it is a large collection area. If I wanted a fight with a flying dragon, it’s there.” Spike said.

“And if he knows I’m coming by now, he will want room to maneuver. All squads, fan out and secure all areas, prioritize the hanger, armory, and security rooms first. The barracks are optional at this stage, but if you see a chance to secure one, take it.” Blitz orders as Genosaurer crushed the last turret between them and the huge double doors to the room.

They soon burst through to a large platform that had large cylinder walls around it, leading to an opening up high. “Huh, this just screams, ‘Get ready for a big monster coming.’” Samus said as she walks carefully through the area while the mandalorians head down through the other doors in the room. As soon as they all went away and left Blitz and Samus in the room, did they change color before a metal plate goes over it and locks down. “Told you.” She said before looking up.

“I didn’t say anything.” Blitz says as he and Genosaurer scan the room for Ridley.

Samus sighs as she keeps watching the opening. “Just like I met him for revenge.” She said to herself as she aimed her arm cannon upward and made Blitz and the Genosaurer look up as well to see nothing, but a steady rain coming down. “Wait for it.” She said before they hear a roar and sees an orange glow come from an edge and soon Ridley flies in and heads downward to them. “Told you.” She said before firing at him.

Blitz says nothing as Geno fires his claw at Ridley, barely nicking him. Ridley roars before opening his mouth and sends out a large beam at them which makes them both dodge out of the way before Ridley lands.

Genosaurer, seeing this roars at him. “Ridley!” Samus yells.

“Samus, got a new pet?” Ridley mocks.

“Oh no, he did not. Not again.” Blitz says agitated.

Smaus frowns. “Ridley, come on. Remember our talk at the Hall? The one where you needed my help?”

Ridley growls. “That was nothing.”

Samus keeps looking at him before noticing the blue sparks running along him. “Fine. Guess we will do this the hard way.” She said as she aimed at him and the Genosaurer followed.

Ridley chuckles before taking off and hovers above them. “I love this sport of ours.” He said before roaring and then launched missiles at them which they head to the other side to dodge.

“Put some rounds into him.” Blitz says as the Genosaurer’s head gun started to turn.

Samus helps them by firing her arm cannon as the Genosaurer’s head cannon fires away and Ridley flies around as he takes some hits. “Come on! I hoped better from the great Cross!” Ridley yells as then dives and aims towards Samus before tries to swipe at her with his claws and she dodged to the side before sending out her grapple hook and latches onto his tail before pulling back hard and then whips it up before sending it down and sends him crashing to the ground.

Ridley roars as he quickly gets up and fires a beam at her and she dodges to the side, firing at his open mouth and Genosaurer fires at him, trying to hit a spot. Ridley roars again before he feels a hook on his chest and soon is pulled open before Samus fires at it and causes some damage before Ridley slams it close and takes off again.

“I think he insulted us Geno. What do you think we should do?” Blitz asks.

Geno roars and charges at him, to which Ridley moves out of the way and tries to fire at them with missiles again and hits Geno all over, but he just turns and roars back as he fires his laser guns at him, hitting him in the chest.

“Not even a dent in the armor.” Blitz says.

Ridley roars at them before flying up to the wall and behind a pillar and then doesn’t come out. “Nice try, we got one for that too.” Blitz said before anchoring Geno and then he opens his mouth and charges the cannon.

Samus sees this happening before looking to where he was. “Wait, don’t fire!” Blitz looks at her too late before the beam fires and Ridley flies out and the beam goes through the wall and creates a hole as it dies down. Ridley chuckles before heading out the hole.

“Damn it. Get back here!” Samus yells jumping on top of Geno and then jumping out of the hole.

Blitz sighs and unanchors Geno before he roars and charges at the wall and smashes through it to find Ridley on the ground again as Smaus hooks his chest and pulls it open before she changes a bright blue and has blue sparks running over her as she fires a blue beam at his open chest faster than normal before Ridley closes his chest again and flies off as Samus’s blue glow dies down.

Blitz eyes her carefully. “Spike, scan Smaus for any other energy that shouldn’t be in her or her armor.”

“Give me a few minutes. Oh and Ridley is charging something up.” Spike said.

They all watch as Ridley roars before backing away in the large raining field and soon sparks a little before glowing bright blue and then sends a large blue beam at Geno and hits him hard enough to make him roar and actually slide backward from the force from it.

“You got three minutes.” Blitz says.

“Need one and a half now.” Spike said as Ridley dives down again and heads straight for Smaus before picking her up and she tries to fire at his open mouth as then throws her into the building with a clang. “Ow.” She said before pushing herself out and jumping down to the ground.

Blitz makes Geno run around as he makes the guns turn a bit toward Ridley as he still glowed bright blue and then sees laser balls hitting his shoulder as some of the blue areas of his armor changes color a bit from each hit. Blitz then fires a few laser fires at his shoulders before Ridley roars at them and then gets hit in the mouth and gets sent to the ground. Samus runs up as Ridley gets up before attaching her hook to him again before pulling back a little as energy seems to travel along the line and into her. Ridley roars at her as he slowly moves closer to him as he gets hit in the back from Geno and Blitz who has actually come out of the cockpit and fires his blasters at him as well.

Ridley roars at Samus as he glows bright blue again before his chest is pulled open and Samus glows blue again. She then runs up to him and actually jumps at him and pounces at him before grabbing at him and fires point blank range at his chest before he grabs her and throws her off a bit away as his chest closes again and he clutches his chest.

“Scan done. She has something in her bio system. Something called phazon. She’s 75% filled with it.” Spike said.

Blitz watches carefully as the laser fire dies down and they just watch as Samus gets up again and then limps over to Ridley as he groans and tries to open his mouth and fire at her, but recoils as sparks run over him. “Ridley.” Samus said to him before hooking his chest again and pulling it open.

Blitz then watches as Samus aims her cannon at him before hooking him again, this time onto the open chest and pulls back a little as he sees blue energy start to run along the line and she grunts from the pain. “Spike?” Blitz asks.

“She’s draining his phazon energy. Stop her, now!” Spike yells before Blitz jumps down and runs to them before Samus finishes and let’s her hook retract on herself and starts to step backward as sparks run wild all over her and the blue glow on Ridley dies down. “What…Samus…you didn’t…” Ridley said as he watched her carefully.

Samus looks up a bit and takes off her helmet and throws it to the side and holds her chest as she lets him see the scar running along her face and through her eye. “I did.” She said smiling.

Blitz stops between the two. “This was your plan? Take the energy?”

Samus laughs. “What else? I need it to beat him. After all, you want your army back anyway. Now if you excuse me, I got to get back to work and then maybe I’ll see you later.” She said before grabbing her helmet and starts to limp away as sparks kept running along her.

Ridley groans as he gets up slightly before hearing a click and sees Blitz pointing his blasters at him. “Don’t even.” He said.

Ridley growls before looking to Samus. “Samus!” He yelled, grabbing her attention. “Forgetting something?” He asks while turning his head to the side and they see an energy orb just floating there.

Samus smiles as she walks back over and touches the orb before it gets sucked into her grapple gun and glows bright blue before dying down. “I better go deal with everything there now.” She said looking at him. “I’ll come back soon enough.” She said before starting to walk away.

“So Ridley, care to surrender?” Blitz asks, pointing all of Genosaurer’s guns at him.

Ridley scoffs. “Like I have a choice.”

“What do you think?” Blitz asks.

Ridley frowns at him. “Oh shut up. I already made a deal to her.”

“Yes, but not with me. You invaded Mandalorian territory and a planet.” Blitz says.

Ridley seems to raise an eyebrow. “But was it with my own distinction?”

“Care to try that with the rulers of this planet?” Blitz asks.

Ridley chuckles. “I’m sure they had their own fair share of it except mine is something of a mineral, ain’t it? Powerful, but yet strong drawbacks.”

“Then why do it?” Blitz asks.

Ridley smirks. “Being strong, what else?”

“Ok, well, since you caused all this trouble, you now owe a debt. Understand?” Blitz asks.

Ridley chuckles. “I already owe a debt to her and it would be the same for this. I made a deal with her in exchange for ending this.”

Blitz keeps watching him. “So, you will do it?”

Ridley looks at him. “Don’t have much of a choice.”

“Good, first thing you will do is order your men to stand down as they are dying pointlessly right now.” Blitz says.

Ridley growls a bit before roaring out loud and then stops before the firing stops in the distance. “Happy?”

Blitz huffs. “Oh yeah. Now stay there.” He said getting back into Geno and closing the hatch. “Spike, how are we doing?”

“They’re standing down. Most of them. Those using Phazon right now are still going, but they got quickly taken out. As for the base, still holding up. Samus is now getting in her gunship and heading out right now. She’s 100% filled with Phazon now. She’s going on a suicide trip at this point.” Spike said.

“I doubt that. More like she is going after the one behind this.” Blitz says.

Spike sighs. “And with the level of this stuff, it’s going to kill her anyway.”

“It ain’t the first time she has been in this situation. Now prepare accommodations for our prisoners and finish securing the base.” Blitz says.

“Oh, we got beds for them ready and waiting. As for the base, just give it until the end of the day.” Spike said.

Blitz nods and looks to Ridley, just watching the sky. “Thanks and get one super comfy for our star guest.” He said before turning to Ridley. “Come on, let’s move it.” Ridley huffs before getting up and starts to walk on all fours as Blitz and Geno pushes him along.

“You want to do what?” Spike nearly yells at Blitz.

“You heard me, he has the experience this planet needs to really learn how to live in space and he owes a debt…no Spike. I know what you’re thinking and after all of this, we can’t cover it up.” Blitz says.

Spike narrows his eyes. “And what if he turns again?”

“You think I’m stupid enough not to have precautions?” Blitz asks.

Spike sighs. “And just what is he going to do?”

“It’s not what I’m going to do, it is what I have done. You see, I sent his food laced with nanobots keened to his genetic signature. If he gets too uppity, they can be activated and disassemble his atoms one by one.” Blitz says.

Spike looks at him carefully. “I meant what is he going to do now?”

“He will most likely be the first admiral of the space fleet of this planet.” Blitz says.

Spike raises an eyebrow. “Really, you would place him in that when many don’t trust him at this point?”

“It’s not a question of try, more of ability with the added insurance provided he will have no choice, but to do the best job he can.” Blitz says.

Spike groans. “Why do you make things hard?”

“I don’t, the world is just a hostile place sometimes, right Midnight Twinkle?” Blitz asks, turning to Twilight.

Twilight leans her head in the doorway. “It’s Twilight Sparkle.” Twilight growls.

“Yeah, I got it Flashlight.” Blitz says smirking. Twilight still growls. “Now how about that vacation? All of us.” Blitz offered. “By the way, nice try sneaking Evening Glitter.”

Twilight growls before going over to him and pushes him against the wall. “Say that again.”

Blitz grins. “Evening Glitter.” He said before he was banged against the wall again.

“Where is my camera? This would make a good sitcom.” Spike says.

They both look to him before Twilight huffs and let’s him go. “Take them.” She said walking away. “I’m staying.”

Blitz chuckles. “So is that a no to movie night?” Blitz asks following her.

Spike chuckles as he watches them leave before looking back to the large mecha dragon in the cell who was given a screen. “Hey, just reached the planet. Might be back sooner than later. I’m just going to give his present back. Kinda clashes with my style.” Samus jokes.

Ridley chuckles. “It kinda does, though that scar really fits you. If it stays, you can say that my claw got you.”

Samus shakes her head and smiles. “Oh boy, I really hope it doesn’t.”

Ridley nods. “Hey…thanks for getting that stuff out of me.”

Samus nods. “No problem. After all, we still need to see who can beat each other in a fight.”

Ridley sighs. “Yeah, guess we do.”

Samus looks him over. “How did you get some of your body parts back?”

Ridley looks over himself. “Oh these? The Phazon has a side effect of regrowing flesh. I am just missing half of my tail, claws and my wings.” Samus keeps looking at him until she smirks. “What?” Ridley asks, seeing the smirk.

Samus chuckles. “Oh nothing. Anyways, better give the present back. And once that is over, if I’m still alive, I’m coming to see you and you better hope to be ready for a fair fight.”

Ridley grins. “Since when are our fights fair?”

Samus shrugs. “Good point. Bye now.” She said waving before the screen shuts off.

Ridley sighs as he puts the screen down before seeing the young dragon outside his electrical cell door. “Yes?”

Spike stares at him. “You do know what your punishment consists of, yes?”

Ridley waves him off with his tail. “Yes, yes. I’m supposed to teach you inscests how to live in space.”

“Hey, we are the same breed. We are dragons.” Spike says annoyed.

Ridley chuckles. “Oh kit. If only you knew what I grew from.”

Spike narrows his eyes before huffing some flames. “Yeah right.” He said walking away.

“You better take a look at what she collected on me if you’re curious.” Ridley calls out.

Spike only looks back a little before continuing to walk out of the prison full of pirates and heads toward the waiting ship, where Blitz and Twilight were now talking about which movies to watch when they get to Daring’s home.

“So you forgive me?” Blitz asks leaning onto her.

Twilight smirks. “Cuddle me during the movie and we will talk about that.”

“First come, first serve love. You have to beat the other mares to me.” Blitz says smirking.

Twilight giggles. “I’m the mother bucking queen and you’re my king. I will do what I want.”

“But can you beat the rest in a race to me without help?” Blitz asks, starting to tickle her.

Twilight laughs and giggles. “Yeah! I’m also the…not right there…alpha of this family!” She laughs out. “I will get you!” She keeps laughing as the dropship closes up and takes off.

“No, you won’t because I got you.” Blitz says, continuing his assault.

Spike just mimics a barf. “Geeez, take that somewhere else why don’t you?”

Blitz smirks. “Aw, Spikey Wikey hates this because he doesn’t have his own to play with. Should I call up Slender?” He teases.

“Oh most certainly…not.” Twilight says laughing.

Spike growls as his flames come out of his mouth a little before dying down. “Careful Twi, remember what happens when you keep dragons from their future mates.” Blitz reminds as he still kept tickling her.

Twilight giggles as she waves him off. “Oh please, she’s still in trouble.” She said laughing less as Blitz let’s up now.

“Ug…at this rate we will have another alicorn running around.” Spike says huffing.

“That’s the plan.” They both said which elected another groan from him before laughing at him.
