Darkness falls

Ch.02

I groggily stood hearing the clicks and snaps of my bones poping back into a standing position after years of non motion. I tried unfurling my wings but they where too weak. They had many tears and holes in them making them look like Chrysalis'. I felt my usually sharpened teeth to find them dull. And my usually sharpened horn was nothing more than a nub. My dark magic was low and I had bairly enough for a few teleports. I then finally took notice of the six ponies gaping at me. Then the pink one opened her mouth.

"OMG! Whoareyou!? Whyareyouhere!Whatareyoudoinghere! huh?huh?huh?huh?IdontknowyouwhichmeansyouarenewbecauseIknowEVERYPONY!!!!"

Oh god her words hit my ears like a torrent of lava after hearing nothing for centuries. I shoved my armor plated hoof into her mouth shutting her up.

"Enough! I .. have been away for a VERY long time and I come home to .. to .. THIS!?"

The blue pegasus fell on her rump laughing. "He jus! AHAHAHAHAHA!! The look on her face!!"

My eye twiched. And then the inquisitive purple pony spoke to me.

"Who are you? And where is this paradise that was promised in the spell?"

My eyes slid smoothly over to her. She looked at me more with wonder than fear ... for now.

"What a delightful question little mare. I am Major Alucard Wesker lord of shadows and harbringer of darkness! The paradise you seek was a lie. My magic altered the ink in the book so someone would be dumb enough to find me. You played the part quite well."

I patted her head and she quickly pulled back not believing what she just heard. She snorted in anger and defiance.

"Heh so long as you have a shadow. So long as you have any speck of darkness in your soul I can and WILL influence you. You where nothing but a puppet to the greatest force in all of Equestria!"

The orange pony didnt seem to agree. She kicked me square in the chest senting me flying further back into my prison. I growled. It sounded more like an Alligator hissing. As I rose I saw the wing that I had landed on crumble to dust.

"I need to feed soon I dont have time for this!"

I bolted past the ponies but the cyan blue pegasus got in my way. I tackled her as I leped through the void and landed with a thud on the hard wood floor. I landed with an oof using the pegasus as a cushion. She cried out in pain as my larger body smushed her.

"Geet off mah friend!"

I felt pain again as I was kicked in the flank and out of the door into the twilight hour. I felt energy drain out of me and my body shrank in size to the size of the six ponies before me. I shot up quickly backing away.

"Nonononono! I .. dont hurt me!"

I had resorted to using my silver tongue to keep myself alive at that point. The purple one glared at me.

"And why shouldnt we? You are 'the most powerful force in all Equestria'. I think we should turn him over to the princesses."

"No need to make the trip my faithful student."

My pupils shrank to slits no wider than paper and my fur rose on end. I jumped up and whipped around.

"Celestia!"

There was an incredable amount of venom in my voice that startled her for but a moment but she simply raised an eyebrow which pissed me off to no end.

"Looking a bit tired arent we Major? Like a small old pony. I wonder why Luna was frightened of you."

"Can it! You are nothing but a play thing of my brother! Where is he now I ask? Why does he not show?"

"That isnt your concern little one."

"Fool! You are in MY domain! But alas I am not strong enough to continue. We will meet again under less ... plesant terms."

Celestia was caught off guard as my body melded into shadow and I teleported out of the immediate area. I reamerged in canterlot. At the cost of the last of my magic I transformed into a guard pony.

"Now for my brother's little gifts."

Celestia was pacing back and forth distressed. None of the six ponies dared aproach her. She then stoped and looked at Twilight who shrank back a bit in fear.

"Twilight how did you find him?"

"Well I ... Kinda found a book. He said he was manipulating me and maybe my friends into releasing him. The spell said Paradise. So we figured it was harmless."

Celestia raised an eyebrow. "In a black book labled Necroponycon?"

"Y-yea. I think thats where the manipulation part comes in."

Celestia sighed. "Still there isnt much we can do now. The past is just that. For now however we must retrieve the elements of harmony. They can again banish him to that other relm dubbed Hades."

"Um Princess .. h-he spoke of a brother. Can he help us?"

"Unfortunatly not at the moment. He too is sealed away. He once said that if his brother where sealed he must be too as to not create a disturbance in the equilibriam of life. Though he did leave behind the elements for Luna and I."  Celestia spread her wings. "Come! Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy fly with me."

"What about the rest of us?"

Celestia smirked and whistled. It took a moment but her chariot decended from the sky and landed waiting for them.

"Any further questions my faithful student? No? Then let us be off."

Quick as a flash Celestia was airborne and the other ponies followed suit. It took a few minutes but they eventually reached Canterlot and eventually the palace. No one questioned their arrival and the guards steped wordlessly to the side lowering their heads in respect to the princess and the elements. The ponies soon recognised the decour as they neared the chamber that contained the Elements of Harmony. But something was amiss. They soon found out what as they found infront of the door four collapsed guards and one dark grey and light red colt with two mini draconic wings and a nub of a horn. He turned and greeted them with a blood stained smile.

Dispatching the guards was slightly harder than what I had expected. But they went down and restored a portion of my powers. I stared at the grand door until I heard galloping behind me. I turned and beared my fangs in a bloody grin. I ran my serpentine tongue over my lips licking them clean.

"Hello. So glad you could make it!"

Celestia steped boldly up. "You will be sealed again!"

"Not likely. Serve me!"

The 'bodies' of the guards rose up revieling fully grown changelings that hissed at the princess and the elements. I chuckled and transformed into a black mist sliding under the door.

Twilight gasped as the guards where revealed to be changelings.

"H-how!?"

Celestia grunted in annoyance. "He isnt a natural immortal but a vampony. Once he drains the blood of others he can transform them into changelings. Thats how the race first started. But if we seal him again they will be ponies again if we dont take too long. If he runs free too long it will be permanant."

The changelings charged Celestia trying to give their lord as much time as possible. Celestia easily tossed the changelings but they kept getting back up. It wore her down. The six saw this and ran in to help seing their princess fatigue. AppleJack bucked one through one of the stainglass windows and Pinkie partycannoned another through another window. Rainbow Dash took one out of the air and tied it up securly in the banistars that adorned the hall. Twilight grabbed one with her magic and did the same. Celestia nodded in approval and with a smile on her face. She then opened the room that contained the elements to find it bare. The ponies frantically searched every little nook and cranny of the room but came up with nothing. They sat outside the room in defeat.

"They are gone .. again."
