It was raining on a Sunday night with Lee driving on the road to his new apartment. He would have left sooner, but there was a family get together he didn’t want to miss, even if his classes began the next morning. He was also moving the second last of his stuff to his apartment, which included his bedding, groceries, self-defense weapons, clothes, and school supplies. Lee was finishing his talk with his mom on his phone over his car.
“Okay Mom, see you next week.” Lee said on his phone. His eyes constantly on the road. “Okay sweetie, call us when you get there.” His mom said, making sure her boy gets to his apartment safe. “I will, love you, bye.” Lee hung up his iPhone and continued driving down the road.
The rain was was harsh and lighting started to strike. Lee knew he had to get to his apartment soon if he want’s to get out of the weather. The next thing he knows, lightning struck right in front of him. Lee had to close his eyes from the light and noticed some bumps on the road. He opened his eyes and realized he wasn't on the road any more, but was driving on a dirt path. Lee slammed on the breaks and stop mere inches from a tree. His glasses nearly fell off so he readjusted them. He looked out his window and saw nothing but a forest around, not only that, it stopped raining all of a sudden. The radio in the jeep was only picking up static.
Lee picked up his phone to call his parents to let them know what happened. He clicked on his phone app and tapped on his dad’s phone number. Unfortunately, it couldn’t connect to his dad’s phone. When he looked at the top left side of his phone, it said “no services.” He lowered his phone in his pocket and stepped out of his car with a flashlight he packed. He looked around to find the road, but couldn’t find it, all he found was a dirt path. He also notice the forest is a little brighter than it should be. He looked up and did not expect what he saw. Up in the skies was a full moon when it should be a crescent, not only that, he could see that there are plenty of stars in the sky, something you can’t see in Dallas.
“Great, first I almost get hit by lightning and now I’m lost in the middle of a forest, this doesn’t make any sense.” Lee said to himself. He couldn’t explain how he got there and why that lightning bolt didn’t fry his electronics. His hands were brought up to his head in a groan as he sat down on his jeep’s bumper. That’s when he realized something else was off. It was his right middle knuckle, he hurt it after an accident a couple months ago, yet now it’s like it never happened. Not only that, he could completely feel his chin, even though it should still be numb from his jaw surgery.
“Well, this night can’t get any weirder.” This was by far the strangest thing that has ever happened to the young man, and he has seen many strange things. He took another quick look around one last time until to figure out were to go. When he looked up, he saw a castle in the distance, about half a mile away from him. Lee went back into his jeep and put it in reverse to back away from the tree. He drove of to the castle slowly to avoid hitting something. It took about ten minutes to drive there. Lee shut off his radio after getting tired of listening to nothing but static.
He had to stop when he came to a draw bridge. Lee walked out of his car and headed to the bridge. He looked down the crevasse and couldn’t see the bottom, but he could tell it’s deep. With no other way, Lee went back to his car to grab some gear. He took his backpack and emptied his textbooks, laptop and folders. He filled it with his tonfas, a flashlight, and a few bottles of water. He took out his unscrewed bow stick and put them together in case of trouble. Lastly he took out his collapsable knife in his pocket. He locked his car and made his way across the wooden bridge. Lee had a problem with heights, but he didn’t let fear stop him from getting answers.
When he made it to the castle, it looked kinda familiar to him. The castle was in ruins, and it looked as if it had been like that for a long time to Lee, but he can’t shake the feeling that he’s seen it before. He walked up the staircase and opened the door, once he opened it, he knew what the castle was, he just couldn’t believe it. In front of him was a long room with doors on the sides and a staircase leading up in the back. What really shocked Lee were the tapestries in the back. One showed a humanoid white fur pony with wings on her back and a horn on her head with the sun over her. The other shows the same but with a dark purple fur pony and a moon instead of a sun.
Only one thing came to Lee’s head, he was in Equestria, or an anthro version of it at least. Equestria is a nation from the show My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. He started watching the show mainly because he had nothing better to do, but he ended up liking the show and watched every episode. ‘I was wrong, it just got weirder’ Lee thought. He sat down against a wall to think how this could have happened to him. Maybe got into a accident on his way back to his apartment and this was a dream. He wanted it to be just that, but the castle was too realistic for his mind to come up with it. If that was the case, it would mean he will never be able to go home again. He pushed these thoughts aside and went back to his car. He was depressed, he may have ended up in a world where it’s paradise compared to his, but he had family to get back to, one he may never see again. On the bright side, his jaw was recently fixed so he didn’t have to worry about that. He made it to his jeep to decide what he should do next. His thoughts stopped when he heard screaming in the distance.

Lee stopped his thinking and headed straight toward whoever needed help, along with his weapons. He ran as fast as his legs could carry him. The screams he heard were that of little girls. He had any idea who was screaming, but he needed to make sure it was them. The woods were dense, he had a hard time getting through. That didn’t stop him however, Lee was the type of guy who does everything he can to help others.
“Somepony help us!” Lee spotted who the voice belonged to, it was Apple Bloom. It wasn’t just her he saw, he saw Scootaloo and Sweetie Bell as well. They are a group called the Cutie Mark Crusaders. Only difference was that they were anthro versions of the ponies he know them as.
Apple Bloom was bright yellow, and red colored main and tail, with a large pink bowtie on head, and had amber eyes. She had on a red t-shirt with a pink skirt. Scootaloo was orange, had a messy mane and tail that was purple, and a pair of small wings, and had purple eyes. She had on a black leather jacket with wings on her back, with skinny black jeans. Sweetie Bell was snow white, with a horn on her head and had blue eyes. She wore a short sleeve blue shirt with a white skirt. He also noticed their cutie marks on there arms. They were all a shield, but Apple Bloom has an apple, Sweetie Bell had a harp note, and Scootaloo has a lighting bold in them.
What came after sent a chill down Lee’s spine. The things chasing after them were two wooden wolves with glowing green eyes. These were timberwolves. They’re a creature that is completely made up of dead woods. Lee figured the girls might get scared if they saw him, so he pulled over his hoodie so they would have a hard time seeing his face in the dark. He got his staff ready and hid behind a bush, waiting for an opening. The girls passed him and the wolves were almost in his range. When they were, Lee jumped out of the bush and thrust his staff to the nearest timberwolf and sent it crashing against the other. Lee figured he was strong, but sending the timberwolf flying surprised him. The timberwolves ended up falling down on one another. The Crusaders turned around when they heard the timberwolves stopping. What they saw was a hooded figure fending off the wolves. Lee turned around, carefully making sure they didn’t see his face, and saw the Crusaders had stopped and watch. “Don’t stop, head towards the castle down this path!” Lee told them, he figured the safest place would be the Castle of the Twin Sisters. The Crusaders snapped out of it and did as told. One of the timberwolves got back up got and lunged at Lee. He swung his staff from the right and knocked the wolf to the side. The other got up and pounced at him. Lee readied his staff and blocked the wolf, but fell on his back. The wolf was now on top of him, trying bit his head off. The first wolf got back up and made its way to the down fighter. Lee shifted his leg and pushed the wolf on top him over and onto the other wolf. Getting back up, Lee readied to finish this fight.
“AHHH!” Lee heard the Crusaders scream, they must be in trouble. While Lee was distracted, one of the timberwolves clawed him on the right side of his lower rib cage. The other timberwolf went for the kill. Lee raised the tip of his staff and plunged it in the wolf's mouth. With that, Lee raised the timberwolf kabab and threw it against the other timberwolf. Upon impact, the timberwolves broke into pieces and dissolve into smoke. Lee made his way to the Crusaders, even though he was wounded, luckily he wasn’t one who would use pain as an excuse.
When he got there, he saw the Crusaders on top of his jeep at the bridge and another timberwolf trying to jump on it. “Hey, you want to harm them, you have to deal with me first!” Lee yelled, getting the timberwolf’s attention. The Crusaders looked at Lee, and saw he was bleeding, unfortunately, the timberwolf also noticed as well. It focused on it’s new prey while the Crusaders chose to remain on the car scared. Lee has a plan for this timberwolf, he slowly walked over the edge of the cliff, waiting for the timberwolf to attack. When the timberwolf was a few feet away away from Lee, it leaped at him. The fighter raised his staff and braced for the timberwolf. The timberwolf was now on top, but Lee held it up with his staff, putting his right back leg to support. He pushed the left side of his body up and the timberwolf tumbled off the cliff, plummeting to the bottom.
Lee felt the stinging pain on his rib increase. He had mentally suppressing it since he first got. He limped on his staff for support, placing his left hand on the wound. His hand lifted and he saw a lot of blood on it. “Mister, are ya alright?” Lee turned and saw Apple Bloom and the girls got down from his Jeep and walked over to him with concerns on there faces. He was relieved, not only were they safe, they also weren’t afraid of him. “I’ll be fine, just need to get the first AID kit from my car” Lee said, pointing at the car. The girls turned and saw the object they climbed down before. “You mean that thing?” Scootaloo said. “Yeah.” Lee reached down his pocket and took out his keys, pressing the unlock button. This surprised the Crusaders when they heard the doors unlock by itself. Lee walked over to the jeep and opened the door. He pulled out the first AID kit and was about to bandage himself up. That was until he heard something from the forest.
“Grrrr.” Everyone heard a growl from the forest. “Wha...what was that?” Sweetie Bell asked, absolutely petrified. Lee put the first Aid in his backpack. The girls got behind Lee, waiting for what ever came out. The trees started to shift and everybody heard steps coming towards them. Whatever was coming, it was big. “Girls get to the other side of the bridge.” Lee told them, knowing it would be safer on the other side. “Okay.” said Apple Bloom. The Crusaders did as told, and made their way across the bridge. Lee stayed at the bridge entrance, he needed to know what he’s up against. What came out was a timberwolf, but this wasn’t like the other he fought. This was four times the size of the others. It’s wood looked way older than the others.

“What is that?” Lee said out loud. This creature is extremely dangerous, it looked like it can fight off all the other strongest beasts in the Everfree forest. “ALPHA TIMBERWOLF!” Yelled the Crusaders. The alpha made a howl that can be heard through out the Everfree Forest. “Oh crud.” Lee mumbled to himself.
The Alpha sprinted sprinted forward. Lee turned around and headed towards the other side. He knew fighting that thing will be a one way fight. Luckily, the Alpha stopped before crossing the bridge. Lee reached the end of the bridge and turned around to see it stopped. Lee figured the bridge would give weight from the Alpha’s weight, that’s why it stopped.
“Ha, what’s wrong sticks, afraid of bridges.” taught Scootaloo, seeing that they were safe. The Alpha growled and turned back toward the forest. “I’m glad we’re safe.” Said Sweetie Bell, relieved. Lee on the other, kept his guard up. ‘That predator gave up way too easily’ he thought. “Thank you again for the rescue, but who and what are ya.” Said Apple Bloom, looking up at her protector. Lee took his eyes off the woods and looked at the the Crusaders. “oh right, my name is Lee Clement, but everyone just call me Lee, and I’m a human.” The Crusaders had a look of confusion on they’re faces, Sweetie Bell spoke up first. “A human? I’ve never heard your kind, and don’t you mean everypony?” Lee wasn’t surprised, there aren’t any humans in Equestria. “Well, my kind refers to multiple people as everyone or everybody, and what about...” He stopped when his instinct told him something bad was going to happen. Last time this happened and people ignored it, he got stuck in a blizzard. Lee turned around and noticed the trees were shifting again, only faster than than before. “Don’t tell me.” Lee mumbled to himself, fearing of what’s about to happen. “What’s wrong.” Apple Bloom said, noticing Lee’s concern. “Get to the castle.” said Lee, still watching the forest. “Huh.” The Crusaders responded, not knowing what he means.” Lee turned to the Crusaders, “Run to the castle NOW!” Urged Lee.
Just as he said that, the Alpha came out of the forest, sprinting full on. When it reached the edge, it jumped in the air. It jumped about ten feet in the air, and barely reached the other side. The Alpha Lee and the Crusaders were already running to the castle gates and the Alpha gave chase. Everyone was halfway to the castle as fast as they could, but Lee knew the Alpha would get them before they making. Making a decision, Lee stopped and readied for the fight of his life. He didn’t care if he’s wounded he just needs to hold the Alpha off long enough for the Crusaders to find safety. The Alpha lunged at Lee, but he saw it coming. Lee dodged to the right, while thrusting his staff into the Alpha’s eye. The Alpha yelped and stumbled a little when it landed. Lee got back into a fighting stance, ready for the next attack.
The Crusaders made it to the castle entrance and turned around. They noticed Lee stopped to face the Alpha Timberwolf. “Are ya crazy, get over here.” Yelled Apple Bloom. “I can’t, the moment I try to run, it’ll tear me to bits. Just find someplace it can’t get to you.” Told Lee, knowing he may not get out of this fight alive. The Alpha got back up and turned towards it’s prey. Lee instantly noticed the eye he stabbed started putting itself together. That’s when he remembered that timberwolves can but themselves back together unless they’re dealt too much damage. The problem here, is that he doesn’t think he has the force to break one almost the size of his car. “But...” Said Sweetie Bell, who looked was about to cry, along with the others. The Alpha made another attempt to snap at Lee, but he plunged to the right, barely dodging the attack. Lee rolled over and looked at the Crusaders, “GO!” Yelled Lee, practically telling them it was his final decision.
The Crusaders didn’t like it, but they knew Lee was right and went inside the castle. Lee refocused his attention on The Alpha. The beast raised it’s left palm, bringing it down on him. Lee dodge to right, while striking the the side of it. Unfortunately, it didn’t do enough damage as he would like, only cracked wood. The Alpha sped to from the right and struck him with it’s right palm. Lee raised his spear horizontally to block it, but he was sent flying across court yard. His back landed against a boulder, he went on his knees, at least he was whirring his backpack. His staff was dropped when he hit the boulder, and the Alpha took advantage of it. Lee looked up and saw the Alpha making a jump at him. He quickly got on his feet and rolled underneath the Alpha. The Alpha’s head met the boulder head on, and was stunned.
Lee got back up and drew out his tonfas. On his left he held the tonfa in a guard grip, while the other was in a hammer. He figured he could do more damage hitting the Alpha with a hammer. The Alpha turned around and attacked Lee with it’s jaws. He dodged to the right, and brought his hammer down on it’s side. Thanks to the force of it, Lee managed to break a good chunk of wood off the Alpha, but he knew it would only be a matter of time before it’s put back together. The Alpha however, was not phased by this. It quickly swung it’s right paw at Lee. He brought up his left tonfa to block the attack. What he didn’t expect was the Alpha swiftly jump to the right, during the attack. Lee was pushed back, but stood his ground. He looked at his arm and noticed blood dripping from the attack. The Alpha stepped back a little, Lee saw some of it’s wood floating towards it. The fight was getting worse, Lee is starting to tire out and the Alpha was getting smarter.
Lee glanced towards the castle. “Sorry girls, I won’t be able to delay it much longer.” Said Lee, knowing he wasn’t go last the night. He next glanced at the night sky, thinking of his family, “Everyone, I’m sorry.” He moaned, wondering the pain his family must be going through. The Alpha finished repairing itself and snarled at Lee. He looked over at the beast, ready to fight. Lee held both his tonfas in his left hand, while reaching for his phone to pick out a song, because he figured, ‘hey, why not’. “If you think I’ll go down easy, think again.” Said Lee, while tapping on his favorite song for the fight. He was at least going to make the wolf king work for it.
Music-The Last Fight
Lee and the Alpha charged each other. The Alpha swiped it’s paw to Lee legs. Lee jumped over it, hitting the Alpha in the nose. It attempted to bite him, but Lee countered it with pounding it in it’s lower jaw. It attempted to body slammed the fighter. Lee rolled from his back to avoid the attack. He got back up, and charged it again. He switched the position of his left tonfa in to a hammer form. The Alpha made another attempt to snap at him. He moved to the left, striking horizontally to the Alpha’s right side, but the Alpha managed to scrape the left side of his stomach. It didn’t stop Lee, he wasn’t about to stop yet. He slid beside it, striking the Alphas’s frontal joint, breaking it off. He tried continuing the attack, but the Alpha swung it’s tail to his face. Lee ducked, but the Alpha kicked him on the left side of his face. He was sent to a couple inch in the air, tumbling on the ground. Both of his tonfas landed away from him. His glasses broke form the impact. It didn’t hit his eye directly, but left a bad wound around it.
The song ended, and the wolf started repairing itself again, Lee looked up, but the blood from his wound, covered his left eye. That was it, Lee tried standing back up, however he lost too much blood. The Alpha finished repairing itself again, and made it’s way to claim it’s meal. He held his knife, ready for the end. “LEE!” yelled a tomboyish voice. Lee and the Alpha looked looked over to the castle, seeing Scootaloo and Apple Bloom. Lee was beyond shocked, he sacrificed himself to make sure they were safe. ‘Why did they come back’ thought Lee, trying to think of a reason. He also noticed Sweetie Bell wasn’t among them. All the Alpha saw was more prey. The Alpha knew Lee wasn’t going anywhere with his wounds and decided to chase the girls before they could get away again. It left Lee and sprinted towards the Crusaders. “AHH!” Screamed the girls, heading back inside. “NO!” Lee yelled, hoping against hope he could stop the beast before it reaches the girls. He reached out with his right hand, praying he could stop it from hurting the girls.
What happened next was something he wasn’t expecting. A aurora green light formed around Lee’s arm and hand, making a gauntlet with a circle on his palm. After that, a blast of air burst out like a cannon, hurdling towards the Alpha at the entrance. The Alpha looked, but couldn’t do anything in time. When the blast hit, The Alpha was sent flying in two large pieces across the castle yawn. The glove faded into the air. Lee looked at his hand, seeing that it was back to normal. “What was that.” He said to himself, having no idea what happened. Apple Bloom and Scootaloo came out, and saw what was left of the Alpha Timberwolf.

“Wow.” Said Apple Bloom and Scootaloo. They turned seeing Lee on the ground, and ran over by his side. “Are you okay Lee, and how did you do that?” Asked Apple Bloom. “Yeah, whatever you did, it was awesome.” Exclaimed Scootaloo. Lee looked at the Crusaders without an answer. “I honestly don’t know, I’ve never done that before. Anyway, where’s your friend.” Said Lee, carefully making sure he doesn’t mention that he knows of them when they haven’t introduced themselves. “Sweetie Bell? She’s inside waiting for us.” Answered Apple Bloom. Lee was going to ask them why they came back, even though he probably wouldn’t like it. but his instinct started warning him again. He looked at the Alpha Timberwolf’s remain’s, and didn’t like what he saw.
It started putting itself back together again. The girls also notice it and were worried. “We need to get back inside, we have a plan.” Said AppleBloom pointing at the door. “A plan?” Asked Lee, wondering what it was. “Yeah, it’s why we came back to get you.” Said Scootaloo. “Okay lets go.” Said Lee, even though he wasn’t happy they risked their lives for him, but he couldn’t blame them, since he would have done the same. The Alpha Timberwolf was bringing it’s pieces together, but would just be a matter of time before it attacks again.
They went inside the ruined castle and took a passageway, but Lee was having difficulty walking. He was covering his eye wound with his left hand, while his other covered his stomach. “How far to Sweetie Bell?” Lee asked weakly, he had lost a lot of blood already. “We’re almost there.” Said Scootaloo, but she and Apple Bloom were worried, seeing blood slowly drip from Lee’s body. They turned the corner and saw Sweetie Bell waiting for them. “There you guy’s are I was worried about...oh my gosh are you ok!” She said, looking at Lee’s injuries. “For now, but what’s this plan you all have?” Asked Lee, not sure what could be used to stop that beast. “There’s a trap door underneath you and the trigger is right next to me. We can trap the Alpha Timberwolf with it. We found it by accident, luckily Apple Bloom and Scootaloo were in front of it when I stepped on it. I also heard it from my sister when she and Fluttershy fell in it.” Said Sweetie Bell. Lee was impress, he forgot the the old castle and trap doors, but then he recalled that they got out when Fluttershy pulled a handle through a hole.” He looked at the Crusaders and asked. “If you heard it from your sister, how did she get out.” Sweetie Bell responded. “There’s a hole you put your hand through on one of the walls about the size of you arm. I saw it when I opened it while Apple Bloom and Scootaloo went to get you, and I think the Alpha Timberwolf is too big to put it’s paw through.” Lee look down at the trigger panel, this was probably the best plan they have at the moment, even if it’s the only plan they have. “Yup, now all we have to do is lure it towards us.” Said Apple Bloom, trying to think of a way. “It’s a predator, it’ll follow the trail of blood I left behind.” Said Lee, but the Crusaders frowned. Not because of the beast, but of how much blood he lost.
Just as he said that, a growl came from the end of the hallway. They turned around and saw that the Alpha caught to them sooner than expected. “Girls slowly get back, I’ll trigger it.” Said Lee, making sure the Alpha doesn’t get close to them. The girls nodded and stepped back. Lee walked over towards the trigger, setting his right foot next to it. He dropped his backpack and readied his knife, just in case. The Alpha sprinted towards them at high speed. Lee had to time it just right, to soon and it’ll stop, too late and he’s dog food. When the Alpha reached the trap floor, Lee stepped on the trigger. The floor underneath the Alpha, and it fell in. Lee was about to release the trigger, but the Alpha’s head quickly came out of the opening, grabbing his jean. He landed on his back, dropping his knife and was dragged in. The trap floor closed behind him and he ended up on the Alpha’s back. “Oh no, we have to get him out of there!” yelled Sweetie Bell, and the Crusaders ran towards the trigger. It was a rodeo in the trap room, the Alpha was trying to get Lee off it’s back by jumping and ramming him against the ceiling. Lee held on for dear life, even though he could feel his wounds widening. Right before Lee’s back hit the ceiling again, the trap floor opened up again, and he let go. The Alpha didn’t realize the trap floor opened again, and before it try to jump out, the floor closed again.
“We did it.” Said Scootaloo, revealed that The Alpha is trapped. “Yeah now we just have to...” Sweetie Bell was about to finish when she noticed Lee lying on the floor. The Cutie Mark Crusaders ran by his side to to if he was alright. They could tell he was still breathing, but was loosing a lot of blood. “What do we do?” Asked Scootaloo, worried about his injuries. They thought for a moment until Apple Bloom remembered something.“The first AID in his back pack.” She said. The unzipped his backpack and brought out the first AID. Lee heard what they were saying, but his mind started to fade.
Meanwhile in a dark cave. “Is everything ready ready” Asked a shadowy figure with a demonic voice. “Yes master, everything is prepared for our attack.” Answered a huge, single eye goat in armor standing with claws. The dark figure grew a sinister smile, “Good, but remember, if you fail I will not hesitate putting you back in the grave I found you in.” The goat gulped and nodded. “Of course master the corrupted diamond dogs, corrupted minotaur and I will head out momentarily.” The figure turned it’s red gaze on his diamond dogs. “Make sure that you do while I go pay a visit to a old acquaintance.” The ram left to join his minions. He started fading into nothingness, but stopped when he sensed a faint familiar power. “Strange, what was that power feel familiar. Hm, it doesn’t matter.” He began fading again.“This time, that knight will see true despair when he see’s what’s left of the world he was supposed to protect and pay for keeping both us sealed all those years ago.”
