More footage was subsequently found, next to the camera. The subject in the footage was never seen again.

Much like the earlier footage, this film was badly damaged during restoration.

The camera switches on, revealing the time to be 2 hours after the first film was recorded. A voice is audible speaking as the camera moves forward.

"I have no choice. I must find my wife. Where could she have gone?"

A loud noise can be heard, like the snapping of dry twigs. The camera turns to the left.

"Huh? What was that? I just heard something from the forest. Who's there? reveal yourself!"

The bushes move apart. The subject gasps in horror.

The creature in the bush is the one visible at the end of the previous clip. Its speech is garbled.

The camera operator speaks again. "Starving? Beignet, is that you? What.. what in tartarus's name happened to you!?"

More garbled speech is heard, as the camera glitches.

"Oh no... It's that virus was it!? You need to come with me sweetheart! You need my help!"

"....but it's nightmare night...." the other creature can be briefly heard saying.

"Oh crap. The virus is driving you mad. Sweety, you've must have killed thoes ponies, you've lost control! You need to come with me in my lab, I need to find the cure for that abomination as soon as I can!"

The other creature speaks again. "But it's nightmare night! Oh what a fright, I hunger... I need... I starved..."

The creature lumbers toward the camera, which hits the ground. The sound of flesh being consumed is briefly audible, then the footage cuts to black.

...

The scene was found the next morning. 5 rotting corpses, with a pair of cameras found discarded.

Although subsequent sightings of the Candymare have been reported, none of them have ever been confirmed
