Depression.
It's not unheard of for a person to get depressed and not come out of it, most of the time they stay depressed until they reach the final stage of depression which causes them to make rash decisions and maybe even fatal ones.

'Am I really resorting to this?' I was in the middle of an argument with myself at the moment, while one side of me was demanding me to go through with this while another small voice was trying to convince me otherwise.
'Yes! you'll finally get sweet justice on those students that undermined you.'
'Please reconsider the consequences! this is not the right thing to do!'
I finally acknowledged the room I was in and looked into the mirror of the men's restroom, all that was there was a shell of a berated troubled teen who was victim to all the abuse from fellow classmates.
'Black mop of hair, faded out green eyes and black hoodie? check.'
Coming to terms with myself and shutting off the voices in my head I took a step back from the mirror and raised my hood over my head and than reached into the pockets and pulled out a gray object.
I held it in my hands and pointed it at the mirror '44. magnum?'.
''Check.''

A boy by the name of 'David' was surrounded by a group of four other boys all chatting away and occasionally laughing as someone pitched in a joke.
''Yo David!'' his attention was grasped by a light skinned boy approaching the group as they all stopped talking and gave their attention to him.
''Yeah Mark?'' he inquired albeit annoyed at him.
''I was thinking about paying a visit to our dear old frie~~'' his statement was interrupted by the crackle of the intercom.
''Attention teachers and students the senior trip to Colorado has been canceled until further not~~ *BANG*
The intercom let out a ear piercing whale as a resonating thump was heard leaving the rooms occupants bug eyed.
''Alright students you know the routine'' the silence in the room was cut out by the teacher getting up and turning the lock on the entrance to the classroom as the students hastily got up and moved to the farthest corner of the room quietly until one female student tripped over a desk and dropped it on its side.
''You idiot!'' David whispered yelled at the student as she shakily got up and moved with the others to the corner.
''Now now students we shoul~~'' the door handle shook in the middle of the teachers statement and spooked on the other girls as she screamed ''No!'' while the other tried to get her outbursts in control.
This led to the handle rapidly moving side to side than stopped for a bit until the suspect resorted to banging on the door as the girl started all out sobbing and screaming.

The banging stopped and the students all mentally let out a breath until..
The door was kicked opened and banged into the wall, all the while a black hooded figure shakily stumbled in with something in their hand.
They than stopped in the middle of the room as they lifted their hand aimed a gun at the teachers face all the while shaking like a maniac.
''Well'' ''well'' ''well'' a familiar voice rang out from under the hood as he than lifted the hood with one hand and let it fall back as gasps rang out.A boy with a black mop of hair donned a crazed smile as he looked around a bit until his eyes landed on someone specific ''David''.
David's eyes widened when his name was called out and anxiously stood up.
''G-good n-now stand over there''.
As David moved, the boy with the gun aimed at the teacher and fired a round into his head instantly killing him as his body fell to the ground.

Cries of terror rang out in front of me as I smiled all the more wider and aimed at the group of students cowering in terror as I closed my eyes and looked away as I fired off five random shots into them.
I reopened them and saw that only a few of them survived and were covered in the bloody remains of their friends and spoke to the survivors ''now the rest of you can leave while I deal with David''.
They didn't hesitate as the eighteen surviving students ran out of the room screaming in terror as I turned my attention back to David and smiled once again ''now where were we?''.

Davids body was now a bloody mess as I dropped the gun in front of me and took out a knife from another pocket and grasped it in both hands.
''Now time to burn eternally!''.
I lined up the blade with my forehead and closed my eyes as I counted to three.
''1...''
''2...''
''3!!!..."
I raised the blade up as fast as I could and immediately fell into darkness, no eternal darkness.

'Man how long has it been?' I was floating in this endless mass of a void I now call home.
'Damn i'm bored maybe I could imagine a television or something' with all my might I focused on the vision of a sixty eight inch flat screen tv.
Nothing.
'Damn it!' I tried showing my disappointed by flailing my pink stubby hooves aroun~~ waiiitttt 'hoofs?' I tried blinking this away but they stayed 'hoofs!??!' I think i'm gonna pass out.
My breathing quickened as I felt a strong sucking force pulling me into a growing orb of light as I struggled to breath and held my 'soft' chest and felt my heartbeat quickening and than slowing down as dots of white clouded my vision as the light grew.
A could breeze grasped onto my lower region as I felt something grasp onto them and gently pull me out of the darkness as I finally slowly closed and my mind seemed to be in disbelief as the words ''It's a colt!'' flooded my fading consciousness.
I could only think one thing as I woke up in a cold sweat on my bed? in my room?
''What the fuck was that!''

I have no idea how long it took me to upload the second chapter of this story.
I promise it's not dead.

Locations were flashing everywhere, clouding my vision as my brain fumbled around trying to grab sense of what is happening right now.
I tried listening for something but found that my ears were muffled so the only thing I could hear was the dead silence I once encountered in the void.
Moving around caused me great pain.I was forced to fight through the pain jolting up my spinal cord as I tried something.. anything! To move.
Finally after I was ready to give up I faintly heard "wait I have movement in the muscles.. doctor! Come look at this" I felt the pain falter a bit as I cracked my eyes open a bit letting the piercing white light flood my vision.
My eyes partly adjusted to the light letting me see a white roof? I turned my head to the left just in time to hear "CLEAR!" I felt my heart which seemed to not be beating a moment ago roughly beat against my chest.
A slight pressure was pressed up against the upper location of my chest and shortly subsided afterwords.
"His vitals shocked back to normal doctor!" a few what I think to be footsteps approach whoever is talking and respond with a tone filled with astonishment "in all my years of medical practice never have I seen such a fear committed by a pony so young".
'Wait pony?' what the hell kind of hospital is this.
All these emotions pierced into me so fast that I hadn't had the time to properly prepare for it.
I felt my eyelids accumulate tears and with a sniffle I full on bawled my eyes out.
After a few moments of embarrassing loss of control I was finally acknowledged and was greeted by a soft tenored Male voice.
"Now now don't fret little one, were just waiting for our staff to get a hold of your parents.I looked up at him 'really wish I didn't' because when I did I was horrified.
The proportions of this horse were all wrong! Its head was too small with a uncanny curved muzzle and unordinarily huge eyes.
To top it all off was its light pink coat "I thought male horses had darker colors" it was just weird for this supposedly Male horse.
It looked at me for bit until its eyes went back to a neutral state and spoke to itself "never mind you can't understand me at all" it followed up by grabbing onto the back of my neck and plopping me down on something cushioned.
To say my twenty twenty vision was still intact would be a lie,I could only see things that were a few feet away from me.
Bringing me out of my thoughts was the tiny nudge I felt on the back of my head forcing me to crane forward into to something firm and soft at the same time poking me in the cheek.
"Now it's time to feed you so be still little one" that unnerving voice forced me to think otherwise.
'How is it expecting me to do exactly that without a bottle?.' Unless this soft thing is what I think it is....
'Shit...'
After that very awkward ordeal I was becoming very drowsy and my body felt like bricks.
I was set into what I believe was a crib and as soon as my head hit the pillow I fell unconscious.

"This dark is really fitting for a being so foul don't you think?" I was brought out of unconsciousness by a female voice with a hint of salt to it.
"And who exactly am I speaking too?" Surprisingly I could speak,well it was obvious seeing that this is a dream.
The voice shifted into a dark blue horse thing with wings and a horn 'oh goodie a really fucked up horse to haunt my dreams' adorned with dark blue regalia that went along with its spacial void that is her mane.
"Hold back your tongue monster,and to whom your speaking too is simple" she shifted a bit showing a little moon imprinted on her butt.
So I responded "moonbutt?" this seemed to catch her off guard as her face turned a bit red "watch your tongue!".
"Cant really seem to fo that moombutt." I could tell this was just pissing her off, serves her right for barging into my personal dreams.
Smoke was plumbing out of her ears as she spread her wings out and stood on her hind legs yelling out "I am the princess of the night and half ruler of equestria....Princess Luna!".
After she settled down and looked at me again I decided to ask a question to the so called ruler if the night "so princess moonbutt ruler of the night how exactly did you get into me dreams? and by any means I think we should be calling you the monster here with your fucked up anatomy."
Her eyes narrowed at my comments."I will ignore the comment, and to answer your question I refer to you as monster seeing as your soul is tainted with dark magic.
'What the fuck? Dark magic? This shot is crazy I think the writer had list his mind on how the story should go!'
"Oooohh dark magic very scary moonbutt" she stamped her hoof down and the whole dark scene shifted into a black tentacle that rapped itself around me and brought me up to her face "dark magic is not a laughing matter! It could change your very being!.
"Sounds scary.now if you would please tell me why I ended up here and not in some limbo that held a magic zebra that would call me Carl and make random rhymes?"
Her face was priceless.
She rubbed her snout with her hoof and brought me face to face with her "no more nonsense monster!" I nodded my head and asked another question.
"So how did I get here oh so powerful moonbutt?"
"You died"
