The Pirate Prince

It had been a few days since Spike delivered the corrupt naval soldiers to the castle dungeon. He was sleeping in his tower when he heard a knock at his door. He opened it up to see Twilight, who told him, "Spike, it seems you have some visitors. They're in the Great Hall. They say they have a mission that requires skill and discretion'"

Spike raised an eyebrow and asked, "Since when does the castle allow visitors who ask favors of the Royal Family?"

"The visitors are from Karamelle, and they say they wish to speak to the Pirate Prince. It seems they want you to deliver a peace offering to Azteca."

Spike nodded, "I'll be down. If we can gain an ally and stop a war in other realms, I'll agree to it." before following her down to the Great Hall, seeing two people waiting for him. The woman of the pair was holding an egg-like container and held a bit of a sadness on her face.

The man introduced himself, "Prince Spike, it's an honor to meet you. My name is Ambassador Zaw-Veenull from Karamelle. I believe Lady Twilight already informed you of why we are here. We beseech you to deliver a peace offering to our enemies, the Aztecans."

Spike thought for a moment and asked, "If I can help you, I will, but you're aware of my kingdom's war, are you not?"

Zaw-Veenull nodded, "Yes, we are, and if all goes well, my people will gladly help you in your war, as long as the Aztecasaurs are left out."

"It's a deal."

The woman walked over and lifted a hatch on the container, revealing an infant Karamellen, an adorable creature, and said to Spike, "Thank you for this Spike. My name is Cicely. I am... grateful for your help. I'm sure that my daughter will be safe with you and the Aztecasaurs."

Spike was surprised that he was bringing a baby as a peace offering, but nodded, "I understand, and allow me to say you are a brave woman. I'm a father myself. I don't know if I could give up my firstborn daughter Aurora, even for a peace treaty."

Cicely smiled lightly, hiding the sadness on her face and said, "Thank you Spike." before kissing his cheek and returning with Zaw-Veenull to their ship.

Two hours later...

Spike was on his ship with Twilight and asked her, "Does something seem odd about this mission? Giving up a baby for the sake of peace?"

Twilight shook her head, "I'm confused too Spike. This makes no sense at all. But we'll have to figure things out on our own."

"Yeah, something's not right. Ember would have my head if I tried to give up Aurora, even if it was for a peace offering. The only day I give away my daughter is the day I walk her down the aisle."

As they made the trip to Azteca, Spike kept the baby Karamellen company, and it seemed affectionate to him, rubbing against him and squeaking playfully.

One hour later...

Spike placed the Karamellen baby back in the transport device and walked off his ship with it, accompanied by Fluttershy, Rouge, and Rainbow Dash. As they stepped off the ship, a guard came up to them, "A scaled one? You are no Aztecasaur. Who are you?"

Spike replied, "I'm here on the behalf of Karamelle, I have a peace offering from them."

The guard nodded, "Ah, right, Amuk Surin is awaiting your arrival. Follow me." before leading them through the village. As they did, Spike noticed the Aztecasaurs eyeing the container with the baby in it, licking their lips and murmuring to themselves.

"Dash, I have a bad feeling about this" he whispered to Rainbow Dash as they continued through the village.

Rainbow Dash nodded, "Yeah, so do I."

As they arrived at the palace, Spike removed the Karamellen baby from the transport device and said to the baby, "Sorry little guy." before being told to place it on the cushion in front of a throne.

When Spike noticed there was nobody sitting in the throne, he asked, "Where's Amuk Surin? It's a bit rude for him to not be here to accept the Karamellens' peace offering.

"Apologies dragon prince." before a massive T-Rex like man walked in and sat on the throne. When he looked at the baby in front of him, he smiled, "Ah, an infant Karamellen. Truly a generous peace offering."

Rouge just realized, "Um, captain, I just remembered, in Azteca-" before Amuk picked up the cushion that the baby was on and swallowed it whole, including the baby.

Fluttershy's eyes widened as she saw this and collapsed from the shock, with Rainbow Dash catching her.

Spike's eyes widened as well, "Did you just eat the baby!?"

As Amuk picked at his teeth with his claws, Rouge interrupted, "That's kind of what I was about to say captain, baby Karamellens are considered a rare and priceless delicacy in Azteca."

Amuk nodded, "She knows her foreign culture, indeed, he was a rare delicacy, that's what a peace offering is, here in Azteca."

Spike's eye twitched and said, "Eating... babies... is not... COOL!" before flying onto Amuk's snout, forcing his mouth open, and going down.

"What is he-!?" Amuk yelled in pain as he felt Spike in his stomach, and a second cry of pain emerged when Spike broke through his teeth, leaving blood dripping from his mouth. When he saw the blood, he yelled, "How dare you! HOW DARE YOU! THIS MEANS WAR!"

Spike cracked his knuckled and flew up to Amuk's eyes and said, "Alright you sick, twisted, baby-eating freak! I jumped down your throat once, and I can do it again! If you wage war against Karamelle, I will go back down and start gutting you like a batacuda from the inside and work my way out!"

"Your bluffing!" when Spike made his way back towards his snout, he yelled, "Guards! Tear them apart, for- Oh..." before realizing his guards had already fled in terror. "Ok, you win! Take the child and I will not instigate war. I hope we never meet again."

"That makes two of us, and for your sake, I hope we don't either."

As they made their way back to the ship, the villagers kept out of Spike's line of vision, since Amuk's screams of pain could be heard by the entire village.

Three hours later...

As Spike stepped off his ship with the baby in his arms, he saw Cicely run to him and hug him as well as her infant child, "Spike, thank you so much!"

Zaw-Veenull walked over to them and said, "Indeed, it's amazing that-"

Spike growled and looked to the ambassador and asked him in an annoyed tone, "Did you know Amuk was going to eat the baby?"

Zaw-Veenull gulped and explained, "Well, I wasn't sure exactly, but-"

Spike silenced him and said, "Never talk to me again. Karamelle and Equestria can remain allies, but I will always remember what you did on this day." before looking to Cicely and said, "You, however, are always welcome in my family's castle."

Zaw-Veenull was sweating bullets and nodded, nervously heading back to his ship. "Lady Cicely, are you-?"

Cicely angrily glared at the Ambassador, showing she had no interest in returning with him. As the ship left, she smiled at Spike and said, "Spike, you have my undying gratitude. My husband died in a war with the Aztecasaurs before our daughter was born. My baby seems fond of you, and if you'll allow me, I'd like to stay with you. I'm hardly a fighter, but I can act as a ship's nurse. I'm highly educated in medicine, I even have a medical degree."

Spike smiled lightly and told her, "Thank you Cicely, that's a very kind offer. I will gladly have you on my crew, even as just a nurse.

"Thank you for accepting my offer. If it doesn't trouble you, might I leave my daughter in the care of your daughter's mother? I am very aware of Equestria's views with polygamy, and I have nothing against it, I just don't want my daughter being in a dangerous environment, especially given what could have happened without you."

Spike nodded, "Of course, Ember and the matrons will do a good job raising her. If I might ask, what is her name?"

"Her name is Ilma Nar."

"A beautiful name Cicely, almost as beautiful as you."

Cicely blushed lightly and said, "You flatter me Spike, but thank you."

And so, Spike ended a peace treaty negotiation with extreme violence, but in the end, things turned out perfectly fine. However, the mission had an unexpected circumstance that sicked Spike. Despite the Ambassador's lie of omission, peace is intact, and Spike had gained a new crew member in Cicely. With a new nurse on the ship's staff, being injured in battle is less of a concern with a licensed doctor on the crew. And will the new MILF become part of Spike's harem?
