Even a princess has feelings

(AN:Ok well I hope that you readers like what I have to say in this fic. Looking for ANY proofreaders that'll have a good bit of time on thier hands so that I can get these chapters out in a steady flow. Hopefully one every day or two. Anyways lets get this fic started.ENJOY!!!!)

I was returning home from yet another day at work. My dream job was to be in the U.S.M.C. But thanks to my grades and poor choices I made i'm doing back breaking work at Niterhouse CO.

My dad was a manager there but since I didn't do well he got me a job there. Sadly while working on some equipment something bad happened. The machine went haywire. It was carrying about ten tons ofmetal. The lines carrying them broke causeing the wires to fly around freely. One of the wires went and cut my dad in the chest. He died in my arms. Then while I was at work a fire broke out where my brother and mom were liveing in. They died in it along with my two dogs.

That happened one week ago. I was parentless and had no other family members. I did have extend family....but I just staied away from them wanting to be on my own. I was only eighteen,caucasion,light built. I was driveing on the highway from work when a drunk driver hit the back on my car. I fishtailed while trying to regain control of my car. Several other cars went out of control makeing a huge wreck. I came to a stop head looking down in pain from the imediate hit.

"HEY KID GET THE HELL OUT OF THERE!!! YOU GOT A TRUCK COMEING YOUR WAY!!!!" I heard someone yell. I looked up from my daze as I saw in horor a huge truck comeing my way. I tried to get my seat belt un-buckled but couldn't. I knew I was gonna die from this. So I just closed my eyes as I raised up my arms infront of my face. I felt the car jerk foward as glass and metal broke flying through the air. Pices of glass hit my arms and legs. Then I felt something put preasure against my right leg. It broke and thats when everything went black. I thought I was gonna die.

I opened up my eyes and to my surprise I was in a hospital like bed. My eyes still half open I looked to the right and left. Everything had more color than it should have. I looked at my arms and saw that they had several scratches and cuts on them. I tried to raise my right leg but couldn't since it was in a cast and a sling hanging above the bed.

"I think it's awake." I heard a female voice say and why did she say "it"? I thought to myself. I looked at the foot of the bed and saw six creatures standing there. Now most people would freak out and try to get away from them. But I knew that since I was still alive,in a bed,and wasn't harmed anymore than I was before that these creatures could be friendly.

"Um...hello?" I said. Their eyes went wide when I spoke. But then the lavender one came foward. She stood beside my bed as I looked at her. I slowly got up into a sitting position on the bed. I was able to look around better. Then the creature spoke.

"Um...hello my name is Twilight sparkles....what's your name?" She asked. I looekd at her and said,

"Names Jerry." I said. She smiled at me which made me feel a little bit more comfortable around her along with the others. Then I asked a question I was hopeing she would answer.

"Ok please don't take this the wrong way but....what are you creatures called?" I asked.

"Oh how rude of us. We are what we like to be called 'ponies'." And with that she explained everything. From when the land was found to when she freed preincess Luna from nightmare moon.. She said something about a nightmare moon and a princess named Luna. But then they introduced themselves to me. I learned all of thier names. Rarity,Rainbow dash,Pinkie pie,Fluttershy,and Applejack.

"What do you like to be called?" Rainbow dash asked. I let out a sigh.

"Ok hopefully this won't be hard to explain. Well my species likes to be called 'Humans'. We have arms with hands and fingers. Also have legs with feet and toes. In out world we have to wear these things called clothes to keep us covered." I looked at myself to make sure I still had clothing on. I did. A tangtop and shorts. "Also we have this thing called.....war. War is basicly when two contries of the human race have a disagreement on something. Like if one country did something bad to another then that could cause war." I finished explaining to them. Twilight nodded as she wrote down what I explained.

"Ah my faithful student Twilight sparkle. I got the letter you sent me....and this must be the creature you told me about. Please can you and your friends leave my sister and I to it?" A voice asked in a royal like way. I turned towards the door and saw two other ponies. One had dark fur almost as dark as the night sky would be. Where the other one was almost as tall as me if I was standing up and had a marshmellow coloered fur.

Twilight nodded as she got up,bowed along with the other ponies, and left the room. The two royal looking ponies then walked to the right side of my bed. The dark colered one was a little taller than the other ponies but not as tall as the other one.

"So your the creature that my student brought here by using her magic. You see she told me that she could tell that you were near death when she was testing the spell that could bring us pices of your world and bring them here. But instead she found you who was in a terrible state being near death and used her magic to bring you here. So basicly if it wasn't for my student twilight then you would be dead right now."

When she finished I understood why I was still alive and why I was in this world called "Equestria". But the only thing was is that I didn't know thier names.

"Wow well remind me to thank her. But I have a question for the both of you. What are your names? Oh and my name is Jerry so you know."

"Oh where are our manners. My name is princess celestia."

"And my name is princess Luna sister of celestia."

"Ah...nice to meet you two." I said with a small smile. Princess celestia smiled back. I told her what I told the other ponies and I also told them what I did before I arrived here. They told me what they did and that Princess celestia would raise the sun while Luna would raise the moon. Just when they said that Luna had to go and raise the moon.

"Well looks like it's time for me to retire to my quarters. Oh and Jerry when you get out ask twilight for some help. I'm sure she'll be more than happy to help you." Princess celestia said to me. I nodded as she turned and left the room. I then laid my head against the pillow that was under me. Looks like I just found myself another home. Hopefully the other ponies would accept me in thier world. With that I fell assleep in the bed exhausted happy to be alive.

(AN2: Ok well that is done. Ok sorry for how poorly it might be and if it is say so in the comments. Please I need a proof reader to help me with this fic and if you have ideas then please tell me.
