Even a princess has feelings

I got out of bed still a little bit confused on what the hell just happened. I went to the bathroom and looked in the mirror. I saw that my eyes had small pink rings around them telling me I had cried earlier.
"I guess even while sleeping sadness can come to reality." I said while chuckling to myself.

*Knock Knock Knock*
"Yes, come on in. It's open!" I yelled. I got out of the bathroom and saw Luna standing in the door way to the bedroom. She closed the door behind her and walked straight to the bed. She to had some pink rings around her eyes. I had a concerned look as I went over and sat down beside her.
"Hey Luna.....what happened?" She just continued to look at the ground. I guess she couldn't think of what to say. I wrapped one arm around her to try and comfort her in anyway I could. She looked up at me and I could see her tearing up again. I just did the next thing that came to mind the same thing I did for Celestia earlier last night. I pulled her close for a hug and that seemed to work. I guess hugs works for anypony in this world since she wrapped her forelegs around me.
"Luna why were you crying earlier?" I asked. She seemed to tighten her grip around me as we hugged. I let out a sigh as I just decided to let her gather her thoughts.

"Because I saw what happened to your family and in your dreams. Also...I saw my parents again." That made since to me. Then a box literally came through the balcony and settled onto the bed. Luna noticed this as we broke the small hug. I opened the box and chuckled. It was a suit that rarity had made me. Like the one mobsters used in those Hollywood movies. I looked at Luna who now had a smile on her face.
"I guess you want to be alone don't you?" She asked. I nodded with a smile. She got to the doorway then said one thing before leaving. "Oh and Jerry the speech in in thirty minutes might want to do something about that hair." She said giggling as she left. I got up and looked at the mirror and she was right. My hair looked like a beaver was on it. I smirked to myself.
"Well better get ready for some heard questions." I said to myself in the mirror. With that I got ready.

(30 Minutes later ponyville square in front of town hall.)

I was standing off stage as I looked at the mayor who was talking about how I arrived. I looked in the crowd and saw the mane six and the CMC's who I knew from what the others told me about them. Then the mayor spoke to me directly using the mic on the stand.
"Now would you please welcome the human, Jerry!" She said as I got on the stage. I heard a little bit of them hit the ground with their hooves. I got up to the mic wearing the suit rarity made me. My hair was combed down as I looked around the group. Then I spoke.

"Okay well I think I should get some things out of the way now. I know that there are a lot of you afraid of me right now but please don't be. For one thing no I won't eat any of you, I rarely ate meat back on my world. In fact the closest thing I ever ate to meat was fish. Also I want to try and be as friendly and helpful as possible. Don't let my height and looks scare you. Lastly I will take any questions you have." I looked like the whole group rose their hooves. I pointed at pinkie pie. "Yes pinkie?"
"Do you like cupcakes?! I mean who wouldn't like cupcakes everypony does but I mean do you?!" I smiled.

"Who wouldn't like cupcakes I mean come on they are sweet amazing to have plus I know how to make them by heart." Pinkie literally started to shake as out of nowhere she launched into the air with a pink looking beam following behind her. I just scratched my head. "Okay...... anypony else got a question?" I pointed at twilight. "Yes twilight?"
"What do you humans like to do to pass time?" I just chuckled.
"Well... there are several way for us to pass time. First off there are these things called video games. Made to entertain others for a price. A Video Game is when people use laser technology to encrypt coding onto a little plastic disc, that coding can be transferred with the corresponding media device, the laser in the device gathers information from the disc, and sends it to the device, which from there transfers the data to the Television, allowing us to watch and play at the same. Its very fun actually. I had a system that we referred to as Xbox 360. Also TV, Movies, bowling, sports, a lot of things. But my favorite is working out. Like running and lifting weights. Oh and lastly reading books." I finished this with a smile. I could see twilight write down things on a scroll.
"Next?" I pointed to one pony that had a flight looking suit on. Had a blue coat and black mane.
"Yeah um......do you humans ever fly?" I nodded.
"Yes we can. Well I don't but I knew a lot of people that could. Now while I was here I noticed that you fly for fun. Well in my world we do fly for fun but.........also to fight. We have these things called fighter jets and bombers. Now don't take it badly we only fight because we have to and there are regular jets that are used for entertainment. But like I said fighter jets are used to fight other jets while bombers are used to.........attack bases and....well cites." Silence took over. It was an awkward silence. The a pony spoke up.

"Have you ever killed before?!" I was shocked by this question. But i answered calmly.
"No I haven't...but I HAVE fought someone before. To defend m brother and to help keep several other people safe. Lets just say I got a scar on my shoulder where the knife went." They looked at me as if I was lying. "Think i'm lying? Here take a look." I said as I pulled the sleeve up to my right shoulder. Showing on it was a long thin scar that was deep red. went from my shoulder to where my elbow was. Everypony had their eyes wide. I saw Rarity faint to the ground. I then recovered my arm. "So you know that guy is still alive. Next?"

"Yes um..........I heard that you wanted to.......kill yourself. why is that?" I heard Cadence ask from behind me. I lowered my head as I recalled the reasons why.

"Because.....my family is dead and I feel like it's my fault. The reason is because my dad died since something broke killing him. I left my younger brother home with my mom and the house burnt down. Lastly at the funeral I didn't cry. So if it wasn't for twilight......I would either be in a river or the morgue dead" That's when silent really went through the air. "Any other questions?" I asked holding in the pain. I heard Fluttershy talk since she was up front.
"Do you think this place is your home?" She asked. I let a small smile form on my face.
"Yes I do. I mean this is the nicest place I have ever been in. Also you ponies are extremely nice and care enough to just listen to me. So just to finish this up I would do anything to help you ponies think I wont do any harm. Like I can lift things that are heavy or even help with harder things. Now before I go any other questions?" A black colored pony stepped forward with a blackish brown mane.

"Yeah I do. You know how to fight? Just asking since there is still the threat of the changelings attacking. So you know how to fight?" I smiled forgetting the pain I once had.

"Why yes I can fight. I mean I fought a good bit of guys that tried to hurt my brother...and where have I seen you before?"

"Names Panda only mare in the royal guard. You care to prove to me you can fight?" She asked me. I chuckled.

"How about later huh? At the palace not here." She nodded as she took off. Something told me that this was gonna be a strange day. I answered question after question and the ponies accepted me more and more. When noon came we left ponyville and made our way to the castle. Luna and cadence went to their room for a nap while Celestia went to my room. I didn't mind as I made my way to the barracks. When I opened the door waiting there was Panda.
