The Not so Averge Life of a Once Human Now Pony Named Minra

Chapter One

My name is Minra, and I was a brown haired, blue eyed, twenty-two year old human male that changed one morning when I was asleep and a portal had opened up and flung me into another world where I landed in a forest and instead of humans it was filled with talking animals, and when the portal sent me it also changed me into a pony with white fur, a brown mane and tail, with blue eyes and a dragon shaped cutey mark, however he had also gotten a powers form that turned his fur azure, his eyes green, his mane and tail dark blue, a unicorn horn, claws, and dragon wings that were also dark blue but green underneath along with the ability to shoot blue fire out of his mouth.

“Man that was some dream I had”, after Minra went to hold his head he had realized that his hand was no longer a hand but a hoof and when looking in a nearby puddle he had screamed in shock and fear, witch had attracted a certain predator of the forest, timber wolves however they weren’t the only thing he had attracted, the other creatures he had attracted were a group of three ponies.

“Twilight I’ll search above”

“Good idea Rainbow Dash, Applejack and I will search on hoof.”

“Found him, he’s just above in that clearing, surrounded by timber wolves” Applejack told Twilight.

“Easy, I’ll just fly through them”

“Rainbow wait” Twilight and Applejack shouted at the same time but it was already too late Rainbow Dash had already flown through them.

“See I told you it was easy”

“The problem with that is they can merge into one big timber wolf.”

Graaaa! The Timber wolves had merged into one big timber wolf.

“Guys what do we do now?” Applejack asked her friends.

Just then a pebble had hit the timber wolf’s back.

“Hey, leave them alone” Minra had thrown the pebble to get the timber wolf’s attention.

The timber wolf turned around and let out a menacing growl.

“I said leave them alone!” Minra shouted so loud it sent the birds flying, and when he shouted his eye’s turned green and his white fur turned azure, his mane and tail dark blue, his hoofs turned into claws, he grew dragon wings that were dark blue and green and a horn on his head. Minra slowly rose in the air flapping his wings like it was second nature and when the timber wolf lunged at him he set it ablaze with blue fire that reduced the timber wolf to ash. Then as suddenly as Minra changed he had reverted back to his earth pony form and passed out.

“Ever seen anything about that Twilight?” Applejack asked.

“No nothing of the sort and none of my books mention anything about this type of thing except for a legend, but we should probably take him to the castle before anything else comes.”

“Yea good idea, Rainbow Dash help me get him on my back”

“Fine’ Rainbow Dash said annoyingly.

After arriving at Twilight’s castle and plopping Minra on her bed, Spike came walking in yawning, apparently he had been taking a nap.

“What’s going on and Twilight who’s that?” Spike asked in a dazed state.

“We found him in the Everfree forest surrounded by timber wolves when Rainbow Dash tried to destroy them by flying through them”

“Sorry, I didn’t know” Rainbow Dash chimed in.

“Anyway when she did that they merged into one big timber wolf, but then this pony threw a pebble at it and transformed."

“Like how?

“Well his fur, eyes and mane changed color and he grew dragon wings, a unicorn horn and claws also he breathed blue fire”

“Yea, It was so cool!” Rainbow Dash exclaimed excitedly.

“Hm, that does sound pretty cool” Spike said.

“So Twilight you said something about a legend, mind telling us what it is?” Applejack asked.

“Sure, Spike can you please fetch me Equestria Myths and Legends volume eight...that was fast?” Twilight said.

“What I was reading it last night.”

“Whatever,” Twilight said as she flipped through the pages in the book.

“Got it, okay the legend says The Seventh from afar, mark of dragon they will wear, normal they may seem but inside something special, look his cutey mark is the same as the symbol in the picture.” Twilight read from the book.

“Wha-what happened, were am I?” Minra said as he opened his eyes and upon seeing Twilight a lavender colored alicorn with purple eyes, mane, tail, a magenta stripe going down her mane and her tail with one big star and several smaller stars as her cutie mark, Applejack an orange earth pony with a yellow mane and tail with blue eyes, freckles, she wore a cowboy hat on her head and has three apples as her cutie mark, Rainbow Dash a blue pegasis with a rainbow mane and tail, magenta eyes and a cloud with a rainbow lightning bolt as her cutie mark and Spike a purple baby dragon who stands on two feet, can talk, has wings and could talk. Spike has green spikes, under belly, eyes and fins hon his head with a forked tail, Minra screamed.

“Calm down, it’s alright your safe here, my name is Princess Twilight Sparkle and these are my friends, Applejack, SPike and Rainbow Dash." Twilight said.

“Howdy.” Applejack said.

“Sup” Rainbow Dash said

“Hey” Spike replied.

"You’re in Ponyville.” Twilight said.

“Now do you mind telling us what happened and why you were in the Everfree forest?” Twilight asked curiously.

“Well first of all I wasn’t a pony, I think, but I was a human.” Minra said.

“Yea I’m not buying it and besides what’s a human?” Rainbow Dash said in skepticism.

“Rainbow Dash, be nice!” Twilight replied.

“It’s okay...uh what’s your name?” Applejack asked.

“It’s Minra, and anyway one moment I was asleep in my bed and the next thing I knew I was in that forest and no longer human.”

“Wait a minute, what’s a human?” Applejack asked.

“Well judging by your question I assume there isn’t any humans in this world I believe a portal had opened up in my room and sent me here however that still doesn’t explain why it transformed me into a pony and game me powers, but anyway humans or scientifically known as homo-sapiens and belong to great apes like the gorilla and chimpanzee.” Minra explained.

“So what your saying is that you came from an alternate world?” Twilight suggested.

“I guess?” Minra shrugged.

“Well at least we know that three-fourths of the legend are true but what about the first part.” Spike said.

“Yea, but since it seems like you don’t know how to get back to your home then it sounds like you’re stuck here?” Twilight asked.

“Yea it looks like I am stuck here.” Minra replied.

“Well if you want you can stay in my castle here with Spike, Starlight and I?” Twilight asked cheerfully.

“Wait who’s Starlight?” Minra asked in confusion.

Just as when Twilight was going to answer his question Starlight had burst in wheezing and saying Starlight is a light pink pony with a purple eyes and a mane, and tail that has a blue stripe and a shooting star as her cutie mark

“Guys...eighth...chair...map...room.”

“Sugercube calm down, take a deep breath and say it over again.” Applejack told Starlight.

After taking a deep breath Starlight told the five that an eighth chair has appear between Rarity’s and Pinkie Pie’s chair. And Explained she was reading in Twilight’s chair when a light had started beaming from the table and all of the sudden the room started shaking and the new chair had arose.

Everyone rushed to the map room but Twilight was helping Minra walk because he was still exhausted, as soon as they got there Minra’s cutie mark started glowing, it shot up flew to the chair with the speed of a thrown apple. Minra started rising and freaking out but all of the sudden it stopped as soon as it began and Minra fell to the ground with a soft thud his cutie mark had also stopped glowing.

“Well I think we know what the legend meant by the seventh but just to be sure Rainbow Dash can you go and check on the Tree of Harmony?” Twilight asked.

“I’m on it!” Rainbow said before taking off.

“Oh, Minra are you okay?” Twilight asked,

“Yea I believe so and I think what ever had happened may of restored my energy, thanks.” Minra said.

“Wait can someone tell me what’s going on?” Starlight said in a confused and frustrated tone.

“Well basically Minra, this pony in front of you is from an alternate world and apparently an old legend was talking about him and well he kinda has powers.” Twilight responded.

“Wait what kind of powers?” Starlight asked skeptically.

“It's hard to explain so, Minra can you do what you did back in the Everfree forest?” Twilight asked.

“I can try.” Minra said and closed his eyes when he opened them his eyes were green and blue flames started moving from his eyes to the end of his tail, his hooves separated into claws, his head grew a unicorn horn and dragon wings burned into existence.

After transforming back Starlight fell back onto her butt, and her jaw dropped in shock and amazement.

Rainbow Dash flew back and saw the current situation.

“Uh what happened and why is Starlight on the floor?” Rainbow Dash asked confused.

“I’ll tell you later, but anything appear different with the Tree of Harmony?” Twilight asked.

“Oh, Yea that, well there’s a seventh element now, and it’s the same color as Minra’s cutie mark.”

“What!” Twilight shouted.

“Spike tell Princess Celestia about the situation.”

“I’m on it.” Spike said confidently.

“There’s so many tests we can do but were to start?” Twilight asked herself not realizing everyone had heard her.

“Um, how about we do some testing on Minra’s abilities?” Applejack asked.

“Good idea, but we should probably head to an open field or something.” Spike chimed in.

“Yea that would be the best.” Applejack Replied.

“Um Twilight, can we worry about that tomorrow?” Minra asked.

“But, but.” Twilight started.

“It would be for the best if we started that tomorrow.” Applejack told Twilight.

Sighing in defeat Twilight said “fine.”

Waking up from her trance Starlight suggested “besides we should probably tell the others about Minra and while we’re at it we can show him around Ponyville.”

There was a knock on Twilight’s door, it was Princess Celestia a white alicorn, with a flowing rainbow mane and tail with a golden crown, pink eyes and the sun as her cutie mark.

“Twilight I got your letter about a Seventh Element of Harmony?” Princess Celestia asked.

“That’s right I had Rainbow Dash confirm that a seventh element has grown from the tree, and an eighth chair has appeared in the map room bearing the Cutie Mark of Minra, the seventh element.” Twilight said motioning to Minra.

“Oh you must be Minra, my name is Princess Celestia it’s very nice meeting you.” Princess Celestia said.

Lowering his head Minra replied with “it’s an honor.”

“You might want to sit down for this Princess Celestia.” Twilight said.

“Well Minra isn’t from our world.”

“What do you mean Minra isn’t from our world, he looks like an earth pony to me?” Princess Celestia asked.

“Well, you see he’s from an alternate universe where instead of ponies there’s humans.”

“Also he has special abilities.” Spike interrupted.

“Really like what.”

“Well it’ll probably be easier to show you rather than explain.”

“Um okay, show me.” Princess Celestia said confused.

Having less difficulty as before Minra closed his eyes for a bit and when he opened them they were green and as before he turned blue, grew dragon wings, a unicorn horn and his hooves sprouted into claws.

Having found nothing to say but just the word “huh” Princess Celestia said in a mix of emotions that even she the Princess of the day couldn’t express.

Minra Transformed back into his base form and out of breath.

“Okay I think that’s enough transforming for today.”

After gathering her thoughts Princess Celestia concluded “it should be up to Twilight and her friends to find more about Minra’s abilities as well as what the seventh element represents, but in the mean time I’ll be in my castle.”

As Princess Celestia flew away she was thought to herself “I’m gonna need a serious amount of cake after that.

“Well I guess we should show him around town, however it’ll have to be one pony though.” Spike said.

“I’ll do it.” Applejack volunteered.

“Okay” Twilight replied.

“Be back” Spike said.

“Don’t worry we will.” Applejack said. After closing the door.

“Okay, were do you want to start?” Applejack asked.

“Well can I meet the other three element of harmony holders?” Minra suggested.

“Good Idea, let’s go meet Pinkie Pie, but I do have to warn you, she likes to through parties a lot but she means well.”

“Um okay.”

After arriving at Sugarcube Corner and walking in.

“Hey Applejack who’s that, is he new and is he your boy friend?” Pinkie Pie asked energetically she ‘s a pink earth pony with a curly pink mane and tail, blue eyes and three balloons as her cutie mark.

“Well his name’s Minra, yes he is new and no he isn’t my boyfriend.”

“Aw cause then I could throw you a congrats on becoming a couple part but what-eves.” Pinkie shrugged.

“Well at least I can throw him a welcome to Ponyville party.”

“You are new to Ponyville right? Right!” Pinkie Pie asking Minra, standing in front of him to the point where their noses were almost touching.

Minra quickly nodded.

“Good, I’m Pinkie Pie nice to meet you, but say Applejack why did you bring him here?” She asked before her whole body started shaking,

“Let me guess it’s gonna be a dousey?” Pinkie Pie asked.

“Yep, and well there’s a seventh element of harmony, and Minra here is the holder of that element.”

Pinkie Pie stopped shaking.

“Oooo, what’s the element, cooking, partying, anything fun? Pinkie pie asked.

“Well that’s just the thing we don’t know what the element is.” Applejack shrugged.

“Oh okay and do you want anything to eat, also when’s your birthday?” Pinkie Pie asked Minra smiling.

“A glazed doughnut would be nice, and it’s August seventh.” Minra said.

“Okie Dokie, and don’t worry it’s on the house.” Pinkie Pie said cheerfully.

“Thanks Pinkie.” Minra said waving.

“So Applejack where to next?” Minra asked

“How about Fluttershy’s, however she is a little shy and timid so try not to do anything to upset her.” Applejack answered.

After arriving at Fluttershy’s house Applejack knocked on her door. Hearing the knocks Fluttershy asked Angel Bunny who it was but he just shrugged so she went to open the door.

“Oh, hello Applejack nice to see you and um who’s that?” Fluttershy asked she’s a yellow pegasis with blue eyes a pink mane and tail and three butterflies as her cutie mark.

“This is Minra the seventh element of harmony.”

Minra just waved. There was an awkward silence between the three of them but Fluttershy broke the silence by asking Minra what his favorite animal is.

“I would have to say either the Lion of the Ball Python.” Minra answered.

“Why the Lion?” Fluttershy asked.

“Well I’m not sure if this world has zodiac signs or not but I was born under the Leo sign plus they’re just big fwuffy kittens.” Minra replied.

“Oh okay...” Fluttershy said.

Another awkward silence later when Applejack said she was gonna introduce him to Rarity.

“Okay.” Fluttershy closed the door and told Angel Bunny that he seemed nice.

Noticing that Fluttershy was blushing he decided to tease her a little bit.

Along the way to Rarity’s Minra and Applejack came across the Cutie Mark Crusaders.

“Hiya Applejack who’s that is he your boyfriend. Applebloom teased, she’s a yellow filly with a red mane and tail pink eyes, a purple, lavender, and red shield with an apple in it as her cutie mark she also wore a red ribbon.

Sighing Applejack introduced Minra.

“Minra this is Applebloom, my little sister and her friends Sweetie Bell and Scootalo.”

“Nice to meet ya.” Sweetie Bell who is a light gray Philly unicorn with green eyes, two shades of purple for her mane and tail with the same shield cutie mark except instead of an apple it’s a star and Scootalo an orange pegasis, with purple hair small wings, purple eyes, and a similar cutie mark as her friends except there’s a lightning bolt where the apple or star would be said at the same time.

“You still didn’t answer my question.” Applebloom said but before Applejack could say anything the three of them ran off giggling.

“Well now you know the CMC crew but off to Rarity’s.” Applejack said a little annoyed.

Arriving at Rarity’s Applejack asked if they could come in and Rarity a white unicorn with a purple mane and tail with blue eyes and three diamonds as her cutie mark replied with a “yes darling.”

Applejack it’s so nice to see you and who do we have here, is he your boyfriend?” Rarity questioned.

“No and why does everypony keep asking me that.”

“Well you see darling it’s because you look so cute together.” Rarity replied.

“Now do the two of you have any ideas for a new line of clothing?” Rarity asked.

Applejack shook her head but Minra raised a hoof.

“Oh what is it darling.” Rarity asked Minra.

“Um how about some dragon themed clothing?” Minra suggested.

“That’s a great idea, thank you but now run off I have to get started on this quickly.” Rarity sung eagerly.

“Well now that I’ve shown you around town and to the other three elements of harmony I should head back to Sweet Apple Acres, so see you around Applejack waved.
