The Not so Averge Life of a Once Human Now Pony Named Minra

Chapter Twelve

Minra was asleep in his bed with Fluttershy in his hooves who was sound asleep when his alarm went off waking the sleeping ponies.

“Good morning Fluttershy.” Minra said kissing her head.

“Good morning, happy birthday.” Fluttershy said getting up and stretching.

“Thanks.” Minra said getting up when the two of them heard a knock on his door.

Minra opened the door to see Pinkie Pie with a party canon in front of the door.

“Happy Birthday!” Pinkie Pie shouted as she fired her canon, sending confetti all over the room.

“Thanks Pinkie.” Minra said coughing up confetti.

“No problem, now come on, I made you a birthday breakfast.” Pinkie Pie said as she hopped away.

Minra, and Fluttershy followed Pinkie Pie while still getting confetti out of their manes. Upon entering, there was pancakes, waffles, donuts, french toast, and crepes, along with all his friends, even Sunset Shimmer.

“Happy Birthday!” all of them shouted.

“I can’t stay but I did want to attend your birthday breakfast, and I brought some presents from all your friends in the human world.” Sunset said.

“Yea, yea can we hurry up the great and powerful Trixie is hungry.”

“Okay.” Minra said as he sat down and munched on the food.

After everypony was finished eating they all gave Minra presents and left.

“I’m gonna go and practice doing my large dragon from.” Minra told his friends.

“Okay, be here by noon.” Pinkie Pie said cheerfully.

“Will do.” Minra said as he walked to the lake while getting happy birthdays from his neighbors.

Upon arriving to the lake he noticed his students having a day at the beach.

“Hi professor Minra happy birthday, how’s it going?” Sandbar asked.

“Thanks and I told you, just call me Minra, also it’s actually been pretty good, so what are you seven up to?” Minra asked.

“Well we’ve been building castles and burring each other in the sand, also we’ve been roasting marshmallows, want one?” Smolder asked while pointing at Yona.

“Minra look, Yona is mermare."

“Sure.” Minra said as Smolder threw a roasted marshmallow at him which he caught with his hoof and promptly ate it.

“So what are you doing out here?” Gallus asked.

“Well I’m going to test one of my powers.” Minra said, but if you need me I’ll be on the over there.” Minra said as he walked to one side of the beach as Gallus continued to play with his friends.

“Okay you can do this, just focus.” Minra said as he sat on one side of the beach, but soon gave up and plopped onto his back where he groaned. Only to see the face of Prince Nebula, when Minra scrambled to his hooves and bowed to Prince Nebula.

“Please there’s no need for that.” Prince Nebula said raising a hoof.

Minra lifted his head and asked why he was here.

“Well since I heard it’s your birthday I came to say happy birthday and to give you this.” Prince Nebula said as he levitated a present to him, “and besides I was wondering if we can hangout?” Prince Nebula said.

“Thanks and sure what do you want to do?” Minra asked while placing the present on his back.

“Well Luna has gotten me into playing video games, so I was wondering if we can play some?” Prince Nebula asked.

“Sure.” Minra said as Prince Nebula and him walked to his castle while getting surprised looks from the residents of Ponyville while they chatted.

“No way, that’s hilarious.” Prince Nebula said bursting into laughter after hearing Minra tell him about the times where he was held hostage by the CMC crew and how he dressed as a maid while he was in the human world. Upon entering the castle it was dark at first until a bunch of ponies jumped out of their hiding spots and shouted happy birthday.

“Thanks everypony.” Minra said smiling.

“Heh sorry for lying but are we still on for playing video games later?” Prince Nebula asked.

“Of coarse.” Minra said hoof bumping Prince Nebula

“Enough chattering, lets party, hit it DJ Pon 3!” Pinkie Pie shouted as Vynal Scratch turned on the music.

Minra went to garb some food as he was hungry when Pinkie Pie hoped to him.

“How’s the party?” Pinkie Pie asked when Minra noticed that she had some frosting on her face.

“It’s a great party but you kind of got some thing right there.” Minra said pointing to the frosting.

“Oops silly me but anyways happy birthday.” Pinkie Pie said in her usual cheerful manner.

“Thanks.” Minra said as he took a bite of some cake.

“No problem.” Pinkie Pie said smiling then hopped away.

“H-hi Minra h-hows the party?” Fluttershy asked.

“I love it.” Minra said hugging his marefriend.

Meanwhile Pinkie Pie was chatting with Lyra and Bon Bon when Lyra’s face changed from that of happiness to that of glee and shock. Lyra a mint green unicorn mare, with a white and pastel blue mane and tail, with gold yellow eyes and a lyre for a cutie mark and Bon Bon a pastel yellow earth pony mare a dark purple and pink mane and tail, she has turquoise eyes and three candies as her cutie mark.

“Oh colt here she goes.” Bon Bon said said with a sigh.

“Oh my gosh, oh my gosh, oh my gosh!” Lyra shouted causing everypony to turn to her as she ran to Minra taking him by surprise.

“Is it true you used to be human?” Lyra asked in excitement.

“How did you know?” Minra asked.

Pinkie told me, so is it true, what is it like, what do you eat, are you a quadruped?” Lyra asked.

“Yes it’s true, well humans have arms like an ape, we’re omnivores, and no we’re bipeds.” Minra responded while Lyra’s smile grew wider.

“You’ll have to excuse my friend, she’s well a big fanatic when it comes to humans.” Bon Bon said as she pulled Lyra away from Minra while Lyra protested.

“But Bon Bon, I need to learn more, humans are real and he’s the proof.” Lyra shouted while she flailed her front legs in the air.

“No you don’t now come on.” Bon Bon said in an annoyed manner.

Minra and Fluttershy giggled at the sight of a protesting Lyra.

“I do have one question, why is most of Ponyville here?” Minra asked.

“Well it’s because you’ve helped them in some way, whether it be foalsitting, running errands or simply making their day brighter you’ve helped in some way, like when you took care of my animal friends when I was sick or when you stopped Trixie’s runaway caravan.” Fluttershy said.

“Trixie has to admit, that was pretty cool of you.”

“Not to mention with you and your friends helped me go back to myself before I was possessed by that dark matter cloud.” Prince Nebula said.

“Not to mention when you saved my life two times.” Rainbow Dash chimed in.

“Despite what you might think you help everycreature.” Fluttershy said hugging Minra.

“Thanks.” Minra said hugging her back.

“No problem now lets dance.” Fluttershy said bringing her stallionfriend to the dance floor.

The party went on with Bon Bon trying to keep Lyra from bombarding Minra with more questions.

“But Bon Bon I need to know more, please.” Lyra begged.

“No leave him alone and that is final!” Bon Bon said while holding Lyra by her tail.

The party ended in a while and everypony went home. The only ones left were Minra, Fluttershy, Twilight, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Applejack, Rarity, Spike, Prince Nebula and Starlight.

“Well I best be going, I don’t want my sisters to get worried.” Prince Nebula said.

“Okay, thanks for coming.” Minra responded.

“No problem, but we are still going to play video games soon right?” Prince Nebula asked.

“Of coarse.” Minra said as he waved to his new friend, then turned to the rest of his friends.

“This really is the best birthday, I’m glad I have all of you.” Minra said as he turned to his friends and smiled.

“No problem, we’ll just leave you to open your presents.” Twilight said as the eight of them walked out of them leaving Minra with the mountain of presents. Gulping Minra decided to go for the top then make his way down to the very bottom where the biggest where. Even though it took him several hours Minra was able to make at least a dent in the presents with there being more then he expected.

“Seems like it’s gonna take me a few days to get through all of these.” Minra thought o himself as he stopped for the night and cleaned up the wrappings that where on the floor. Some of the presents he had opened where comic books from Spike, some items he had gotten from the human world that Sunset had brought when she attended his birthday breakfast, some of the gifts were a CD from the Rainbooms that Twilight had burned a disk of some of their songs, another gift was a Canterlot High School jersey, with a signed soccer ball courtesy of Rainbow Dash among other things. There were also some Wonderbolt tickets that Rainbow Dash was able to get and a Wondercolt ticket. The gift that Prince Nebula had gotten him was an pre-ordered edition of a game that Minra had yet to buy, it came with all sorts of special items and missions that only the pre-ordered edition had. Minra soon walked out of the room only to find all his friends waiting.

“So what did ya get, have you gotten to mine yet?” Pinkie Pie asked.

“Well I got some stuff from Sunset and her friends, which consisted of a Wondercolt ticket, a CD of the Rainbooms, a Canterlot High school jersey and a signed soccer ball from the human world’s version of Rainbow Dash. I also got some comic books, a pre-ordered edition of a game from Prince Nebula, of coarse some Wondercolt tickets.” Minra replied.

“Aww you didn’t get to mine yet?” Pinkie Pie asked.

“I’m sorry but no I didn’t but don’t worry I will, there’s a ton of presents.” Minra said.

“Wait what are Wondercolts and why do they sound like Wonderbolts also what’s soccer?” Rainbow Dash asked.

“Well Wondercolts are Canterlot High’s mascot and as for soccer it’s a game played in the human world that’s sometimes called foot ball where the only people who are permeated to touch the ball with their hands are the goalies and the main goal is to kick the ball into the other team’s goal.” Minra explained.

“Also what are the Rainbooms?” Rainbow Dash asked.

“Well they’re a band that the human versions of you plus Sunset formed to originally win a music competition that was crashed by the Sirens.” Twilight explained.

The next day Minra opened more of his gifts some of which included a Daring Doo book, a radio, a pony version of the maid outfit that he wore when he was in the human world, and cowboy hat.
