Bonus Chapter Short

Noticing Minra was upset Spike asked what was wrong.

“Oh it’s just that, I have a dentist appointment later and I’m hungry.” Minra responded.

“Then why don’t you eat something?” Spike asked.

“Can’t.” Minra responded.

“Why?” Spike asked.

“I don’t know, all I know is that they told me to be fasting.” Minra responded.

“Huh?” Spike said.

“It means I can’t eat anything.” Minra responded.

“Oh okay but then why do you have a nervous look on your face?” Spike asked.

“Well it’s because I’m afraid of the dentist.” Minra replied.

“Is that all, don’t worry everything will be fine.” Spike said trying to reassure Minra.

“Thanks.” Minra said.

“No problem, besides it’s not like you’ll have to worry about having cavities, braces, fillings or having any teeth pulled.” Spike replied which only made Minra more nervous then before.

Sensing he had made Minra more nervous then ever before Spike apologized.

“It’s okay Spike.” Minra said.

Later Minra entered the dentist office of Ponyville and signed in. After an hour of waiting in the waiting room his name was finally called. When he walked into the room he saw a maya blue unicorn mare who has a blue and sea foam mane and tail with blue eyes and an hour glass for a cutie mark.

“Please come in, my name is Minuette.” Minuette said.

“Thanks.” Minra replied.

“No problem, so what brings you in today?” Minuette asked.

“I’m here for a checkup.” Minra replied as he sat in the dentist chair.

“Okay open wide.” Minuette said as she took a mouth mirror took a look at Minra’s teeth.

After a bit of looking Minuette took out the tool and told Minra that he has a small cavity forming in one of his teeth.

“May I ask something?” Minuette asked as she put the mouth mirror on the table.

“Sure what is it?” Minra replied.

“Your teeth are normally in great condition, so how did this occur?” Minuette asked.

“Well I’ve been helping Pinkie Pie taste test some of her food, and I’ve also been forgetting to brush my teeth.” Minra explained.

“Minra, really, oh alright, well since it’s only a small cavity filling it shouldn’t take long how ever I am going to have to put you under some medicine that will stop the pain, and it should ware off after a bit.” Minuette replied getting her tools ready.

About ten minutes later Minuette finished filling the cavity and put her tools away.

“There, now no solids for twenty-four hours from now, ice cream and applesauce are an exception though.” Minuette explained.

“Thanks.” Minra said as he got down from the chair and walked out of the office.

“No problem.” Minuette replied with a smile.

As Minra was walking back to the castle Pinkie Pie walked to him.

“Oh hi Pinkie.” Minra said.

“Hi, wanna help me with more taste testing?” Pinkie Pie asked.

“Sorry I won’t be able to, the dentist said no solids for a day from now.” Minra replied.

“Why?” Pinkie Pie asked tilting her head.

“Got a tooth filling, won’t be able to eat solids for a day.” Minra explained.

“What about ice cream and applesauce?” Pinkie Pie asked.

“Those are okay.” Minra replied.

“Oh okay, well see you later.” Pinkie Pie said as she hopped away.

“See ya.” Minra replied watching Pinkie Pie hopped away.

Minra walked into the castle where he was met by Twilight and Spike.

“Didn’t I tell you you had nothing to worry about.” Spike said confidently.

“Actually you were wrong, I had a small cavity that needed filling so now I won’t be able to consume solids for a day.” Minra replied.

“Oh, oops sorry.” Spike said apologetically.

“Not your fault Spike, I was the one forgetting to brush my teeth, now if you’ll excuse me I’m still feeling the affects of the medicine so I’m gonna go and take a nap.” Minra replied.

“Okay, have a good sleep.” Twilight and Spike said as they waved.
