The Not so Averge Life of a Once Human Now Pony Named Minra

Chapter Fifteen

Minra was sitting in Twilight’s library quietly reading some comic books with Spike and Prince Nebula when the portal to the human world activated startling everyone. The three of them exchanged glances as a stallion walked out of the portal. He was an earth pony who was bright green with two different colored eyes, on was black while the other was red, he has a gray mane and tail with a black pony head with a red mane and a flame yellow eye for a cutie mark. Minra, Spike and Prince Nebula exchanged confused looks when Spike spoke up.

“Uh who are you?”

“Names Emblade, and you’re ashes!” He said as he transformed into a dragon pony form that was similar to Minra’s except he was mostly red with some black spots, he had the same number of horns except the two behind his ears were curved in such a way so that they where the points were facing the front, under his wings was flame yellow as his eyes were as well, and his mane and tail were now charcoal black.

With a flash of sand red magic Prince Nebula shielded Minra, Spike and himself from a black fireball that was shot by Emblade. Twilight soon came in because she heard a blast that came from her library, when she burst in she saw a magic bubble around Minra, Spike and Prince Nebula with holding the bubble, on the other end was Emblade, but to her was someone who was similar to Minra in abilities but was at the point an enemy. Emblade turned to Twilight and prepared another attack but this time directed at her, with a flash of blue light Minra tackled him before he could fire.

“Heh, I see you’re the same as me, well this will be interesting.” Emblade said with a smirk.

“Who are you, what do you want?” Minra asked.

“I all ready told you kid, and well it’s none of your business so if you would kindly get off of me.” Emblade said as he shot a fireball at Minra hitting him at point blank range sending him flying into the school down below.

The residents of Ponyville looked at Twilight’s castle in surprise as they heard an explosion and saw smoke coming from the side of the castle. Meanwhile the students of the School of Friendship rushed over to Minra after witnessing a blue blur getting flung into the school with enough force to cause part of the school to collapse.

“What was that?” Gallus asked as him and his friends approached the rubble only for it to be moved out of the way by a now angry Minra who emerged form the rubble and shot into the air, flying back into the room that he was shot out of and with a kick of his fore-claws Minra grabbed Emblade and proceeded to ram him through the castle until the two of them reached the opposite end where Emblade struck Minra on the back with his fore-claws releasing him and causing Minra to fall to the ground causing a loud thud and an earthquake.

“Is that the best you got!” Emblade shouted as he was about to shoot a fire ball at Minra when violet and sand red magic bolts came from the castle where Minra saw Twilight and Prince Nebula flying to him.

“Just try and stop me!” Emblade shouted as he shot a fireball at the two which had hit Prince Nebula, sending him crashing all the way in to the throne room of his sister’s castle.

“Prince Nebula!” Twilight shouted.

Princess Celestia, Princess Luna and some royal guards ran over to see what had happened.

“Dear brother are thou alright?” Princess Luna asked.

“Yea but we need to send reinforcements to Ponyville right now.” Prince Nebula told his sisters.

“Why is Ponyville in danger?” Princess Celestia asked.

“Definitely, when Minra, Spike and I were reading some comic books a stallion appeared out of the human world portal, he called himself Emblade and he has the same powers as Minra.” Prince Nebula explained.

“All right, guards send fifty reinforcements to Ponyville!” Princess Celestia shouted in her Royal Canterlot Voice.

Meanwhile back in Ponyville, Twilight shot a particularly large magic bolt that had made contact with Emblade. From the smoke came a chuckle then a fireball, however Twilight had shout a magic bolt of her own which caused an explosion sending the two flying in opposite directions. Twilight landed in her castle while Emblade landed in town square mere feat from three fillies.

“Are you okay?” Sweetie Bell asked.

The dust cleared revealing Emblade who was glaring at the three, then proceed to charge up an attack when Minra tackled Emblade.

“Run, it isn’t safe here!” Minra shouted as the CMC crew listened.

Emblade was able to get Minra off and then flew into the air were Minra followed.

“Why are you doing this?” Minra asked as the two circled each-other.

“Well since you’re so fixated on this then I guess I have no choice but to tell you, I’m doing this because I want to!” Emblade said as he started shooting his black flames from his mouth.

Minra replied with flames of his own. The two shot flames at each-other until punched each-other in the head sending them both flying to the opposite sides of Ponyville. The two then flew so low to the ground at such speed that it kicked up dust and knocked over carts, the two proceeded to punch each-other until Minra got one good punch in where he sent Emblade flying through several buildings such as Ponyville’s spa, Lyra and Bon Bon’s house and Sugarcube Corner. Minra and Emblade swung at each-other and eventually jumped a distance back and shot fireballs at each-other which caused a massive explosion. Meanwhile Twilight was trying to help any injured when Starlight, Applejack and friends showed up asking what was happening, and with no words Twilight pointed a hoof at the two ponies fighting.

“Who in the hay is that?” Applejack asked.

“I have no clue, all I know was that I heard an explosion in my library so when I went to go and check it out I saw who ever that red and black pony is smirking at Minra, Spike and Prince Nebula.” Twilight replied.

Without a second thought Rainbow Dash flew high into the air and proceeded to dive so fast that she created a Rain-boom which she tried to use the momentum of to get a good punch to Emblade’s face, however he evaded the attack, grabbed the leg and tossed her away.

“Rainbow Dash!” Minra shouted.

“Focus on the pony in front of you.” Emblade said as he punched Minra square in the jaw with a flame powered punch sending him flying several miles away.

Soon the royal guard showed up along with Princess Celestia, Princess Luna, and Prince Nebula.

“Seize him!” Luna commanded as the guards dog-piled onto Emblade.

With a burst of black flame the guards were sent flying in every direction. A loud boom that sounded like that of a gunshot was heard and when everypony turned to see what had made the noise they saw Minra flying to them with a full grown Red Wood tree in his claws. With a whack Minra knocked Emblade through the sky, with a couple more thrusts and hits the tree was all but a stump at this point, however when Minra threw the log at Emblade it exploded with one hit from one of Emblade’s fireballs. However Minra emerged from the smoke punching him in the air then he grabbed Emblade’s tail and flung him to Twilight’s castle where Minra proceeded to grab a hold of him once more and flew him into the human world. There they flew out much to everyone’s surprise, the two proceeded to have a dogfight in the sky. With a spin of his body mid air Emblade transformed into his full on dragon form and upon final finding out how to transform into his full on dragon form, Minra did the same however his full on dragon form had the same changes as his human dragon form. The two fought in the sky trading fire and punches which ended when Emblade threw Minra into the Canterlot High causing most of the front of the school to collapse or severely destroyed, there Emblade landed reverting back to his human dragon hybrid form and broke off a particularly long piece of plumbing where he started heating up the jagged end with his hand as he walked to Minra who was now back in his human dragon form as well.

“You know, I’m going to enjoy making your death as painful as possible.” Emblade told Minra and much to everyone’s shock and horror Emblade jabbed the now scorching end of the pipe into Minra’s chest however, he did it slowly, causing Minra to scream in agony.

Minra coughed up blood as he tried to pull the pipe from his chest to no avail.

“Yo-you’re a monster.” Minra said as blood started running down his cheeks.

“Oh no, no, no I just enjoy the pain of others but you know I’ll let you in on a secret.” Emblade replied as Minra’s vision started getting hazy.

“What is it?” Minra asked.

“I’m the one who sent the Draugr, I’m the one who sent Zontro, and I’m the one responsible for that gargoyle attack, but anyway look at you, all alone, as you have always been and always will be.” Emblade chuckled.

“That’s where you’re wrong.” Minra replied with a cough.

"Oh really like what?” Emblade asked mockingly.

“He has friends!” Someone shouted as a blur punched Emblade causing him to take a few steps back, and when he looked up he saw Minra’s human friends, Twilight, Applejack, Rarity, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Sunset, and Pinkie Pie standing there with their arms crossed.

“Heh who ever punched me, that was almost a good one, almost.” Emblade said wiping some blood off his cheek.

“Let our friend go!” Sunset demanded.

“Fine, he only has a few minutes left, besides I have new playthings.” Emblade replied as he flew into the air.

The seven soon transformed into their pony up forms.

“What’s that supposed to do scare me?” Emblade joked.

“Applejack, Fluttershy go and see if Minra is alive, the rest of us will distract him.” Sunset told her friends.

“Will do.” Applejack replied as her and Fluttershy ran to Minra while the rest fought Emblade.

“Light em up ladies!” Pinkie Pie shouted as she threw sprinkles at Emblade.

“What is that supp-” Emblade was saying when the sprinkles exploded.

“Sugarcube are you okay?” Applejack asked Minra, he was barley alive though she could hear him trying to say something among all the blood in his mouth.

“Can’t...heal..need...pipe...chest.” Minra said as the light started draining from his eyes.

“I think he’s saying that we need to take that pipe out of his chest.” Fluttershy said.

“I hope you’re right, but you might want to look away.” Applejack said as she grabbed onto the pipe and yanked it out of the unresponsive Minra.

“Applejack.” Fluttershy said as she started crying causing Applejack to cover her face with her hat.

However unknown to them Minra’s wound was now starting to heal and after a few minutes Applejack and Fluttershy heard a gasp coming from Minra. When they looked they saw him sitting up breathing heavily.

“You’re alive, but how that shouldn’t be possible?” Applejack asked.

“Being the element of self-sacrifice gives me regeneration, now if you’ll excuse me I have a villain to defeat.” Minra said as he stood up and launched himself into the air.

Noticing all the smiles around him Emblade turned to see what was causing their smiles only to be met by Minra who was alive and flying in the air.

“H-how I thought I killed you?” Emblade asked.

“You would’ve succeeded if it wasn’t for my friends, now I think it’s time for you to learn your lesson.” Minra said as he blocked a punch from Emblade, he then responded with a punch of his own that made direct contact with Emblade’s nose causing it to break and sending him flying.

Emblade soon recovered and shot a fireball at Minra only for it to be stopped by Minra’s hand which he returned it back to sender. Minra went on the offensive and started throwing punches in every direction until he knocked Emblade to the ground. Minra soon landed when Emblade made a final attempt to hit Minra but was knocked out by a well placed punch to the gut. With a flash of red light Emblade reverted back to his human form that was the same colors as his pony form except he wore a now torn hoodie that had his cutie mark embedded on it, with black jeans and red sneakers. Emblade collapsed onto the grown with a small thud. Minra also reverted back to his human form where his clothes were covered in holes from the fight with two of the holes one of which was where he was stabbed and the second one was where the pipe came through but unlike his now incapacitated foe he held his fist in the air, where upon seeing this everyone cheered. After receiving hugs and thank yous from the students and staff Minra apologized to Principal Celestia and Vice Principal Luna who promptly held out their hands and told him they were just glad no student or staff member got hurt.

“Well I should probably get this guy back to Equestria.” Minra said as he waved at his friends and dragged Emblade through the portal.

When he came out the other end of the portal everypony was waiting anxiously. Minra threw the unconscious Emblade on the ground in front of him. All his friends tackled him while some royal guards arrested Emblade by putting him under a spell that wouldn’t allow him to use his abilities.

“Guess who’s the one who sent the Draugr, Zontro and that Gargoyle?” Minra said.

“Who?” Twilight replied.

“Our unconscious friend here.” Minra said as he motioned to Emblade.

“Well done Minra, we’ll have him sent to Tartar-us.” Princess Celestia said.

“Thanks but I can’t rake all the credit, my friends did help.” Minra replied.

“That is true.” Princess Celestia said smiling.

When Emblade woke up he found himself in some sort of cage in Tartar-us. Later after all the damages were fixed there was a party held by Pinkie Pie in Twilight’s castle.

“You know, I’ve been meaning to ask you this but what happened in the human world?” Twilight asked Minra.

“Well after Emblade and I went through the portal, we continued fighting in the sky where he threw me into the school then stabbed me with a piece of plumbing that he broke off, then Sunset, the human versions of you, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Applejack, Rarity, and Fluttershy intervened, most of them attacked Emblade while Applejack and Fluttershy rushed over to me where I was literately on the brink of death when Applejack yanked the pipe out of me which caused my regeneration ability to start up again and well I fought Emblade some more however the only one at that time who was getting hit was him and well I knocked him unconscious and well you know the rest.” Minra explained.

The CMC crew walked up to Minra and thanked him for saving their lives to which he replied with it was nothing.
