My name is Twilight Sparkle.

I've always felt different from other ponies. I knew things that didn't make sense to me. Mathematics far FAR beyond what was known to ponykind, the truth of how the celestial bodies truly worked... heck, I even knew what the meaning of life was! But I didn't get a slightest hint of why until the day I earned my cutie mark.

I remembered hopping around my mentor Princess Celestia, so happy until I felt a slight burning where my new cutie mark was. I came to a halt and glanced at my mark. It, for a brief second, flashed a strange symbol. I barely got a glimpse but it kind of like a.... wheel thingy? Maybe? I'm not sure.

"Twilight? What's wrong, dear?" Princess Celestia suddenly asked, making me jump.

"U-Uh, nothing, Princess!"

After that day I was able to to really... strange stuff. It began with hearing the thoughts of others. Soon it was entering dreams, floating, create blue fire at will, posses any living life form... but the crazest thing was the ability to warp reality itself! I also found that if I drew a triangle I could see through it at any time I wanted. And make deals. I just don't know what to think about that.

I have kept this a secret from everypony. Princess Celestia, Spike, my parents, my brother, my frends... everypony.

But everything changed during the return of Discord.
