Remember Falling

Dinkadee Doo Hooves always knew something was off. The mane 6, her dad, her sister, herself... But the one who felt the most off was Twilight Sparkle. Dinky did not know why but Twilight always made her feel so ANGRY. Since the moment she laid her eyes on the purple unicorn, she felt like the mare could not be trusted.

But things got weirder after the murder of that hybrid cretcher that tried to take over Equestria. Twilight and Dinky's friend; Spike disappeared....... the resident party pony is acting strange(er)...

And the dreams. Dinky has started to have dreams that make little to no sense to her. Dreams of different lands, dreams of a very large, upside down, glowy triangle thing, and dreams of books. Three of them. Red books with a gold six clawed paw like thing on the front of the covers... They felt imported to her.

Why? Why did the books feel important to her? What were these lands she was dreaming of? What was that large glowing triangle thing?

And why is Scootaloo staring at her like that?

Dinky snapped out of her thought's and frowned at her sister. The tomcolt-ish orange pegasus was staring at Dinky with a worried look in her purple colored eyes.

"Why are you looking at me like that Loo?" Dinky asked.

"Uh, other then the fact you've been staring at our bedroom wall for about 15 minutes now?" Scootaloo said sarcastically.

"Ehehe," the light purple unicorn laughed nervously in response.

Later that day around sundown, after a long day of crusading, Scootaloo was walking down Ponyville's main street with Dinky next to her.

Scootaloo Hooves was worried. She knew about Dinky's dreams, sure, but what Dinky don't know though is that the magenta maned pegasus was having strange dreams too.

One of Scootaloo's dreams where about a building. It was a brown building with the words Mystery Hack(?) on the top of the roof in big red letters. There was two small bipedal creatures in most of the dreams that she seemed to feel a lot of love for. There was also a larger one that she had confused feelings for, and one of the strongest feelings were regret. There was for other bipedal creatures too... and a pig. Why a pig of all things?

Another dream was of a fancy dressed yellow triangle with an eye and arms and legs. There was blue flames slowly consuming everything. The yellow triangle was panicking and yelled something that sounded really weird. After it did that it reached towards her and screamed out what she guessed was a name... and then she proceeded to punch the triangle in the eye, causing it to disintegrate into nothingness.

Dinky suddenly said something.

Scootaloo shook her head to clear it and asked, "Sorry, what did you say?"

"What do you think Pinkie Pie is doing over there?" Dinky said again well pointing over at said pink pony who was wearing a very poor disguise.

Pinkie was looking up at a store of spells and magical items. She had a very uncharacteristic serious frown on her face. After a moment the party pony walked into the store.

It was very strange behavior, even for Pinkie. Scootaloo couldn't help but feel suspicious.

"She's up to something, Dinky... I say we follow her and find out what she's doing!" The orange filly growled with determination.

"Good idea," Dinky nodded.

The two sisters snuck into the store. The looked around until they found Pinkie Pie in the back of the store. They hid and watched Pinkie shifting through types of candles. The mare then pulled out a silver one with a white wick and then walked to the purchasing counter.

"Candles? She came in here to get candles?" Scootaloo whispered to her shell shocked unicorn sister.

"Scootaloo, don't you realize what kind of candles those are?" Dinky whispered back with horror.

"Uh..."

"Those are SUMMONING candles, you featherbrain!"

It took a moment to sink in, but when it did Scootaloo's eyes widened to the size of dinner plates.

"Summoning? As in summoning ghosts?" She harshly whispered.

"Well, it don't necessarily have to be ghosts. It could also be gods, monsters, demons..." The unicorn filly mumbled.

"HOW'S THAT BETT-" Scootaloo screeched before being cut off by Dinky's hoof slapping over her mouth.

"Shhh!" Dinky hushed her. "Do you WANT Pinkie to know we are here?!" She growled quietly.

The tomcolt removed her sisters hoof from her mouth, spat out a few hairs, and then pointed at the their leaving target.

"Well she won't EVER know if we don't even follow the darn pony!"

The twins then ran out of the store. It was almost dark. They looked around and noticed Pinkie a little ways down the street. They followed the party pony until Sugarcube Corner came into view. The fillies hide when Pinkie looked around. They unhid when she walked into the building. They stared until Dinky spoke up.

"So... what should we do? It's almost dark and mom must be wondering where we are..." She mumbled uncertainty.

"I understand that, but we have to see this thing through Dee! It could decide the fate of EQUESTRIA as we know it!" Scootaloo said with determination well stomping one of her front hooves.

"That seems highly unlikely but your right, let's do this." Dinky nodded.

The twins then walked into Sugarcube Corner. They looked around the downstairs in the shop and living areas but found nothing so they moved their search upstairs. They looked around until Dinky noticed a glow coming from under one of the doors.

The sisters then walked over and quietly opened the door. They peeked and what they saw made them gasp.

Pinkie Pie was setting up the summoning candles around a strangely familiar circle. Once she was done she stood back, took a deep breath, and pulled a piece of paper.

Pinkie cleared her throat and begun chanting. About halfway through she begun sweating and a almost pained look appeared on her face.

Then it happened.

The pink mares eyes begun glowing and she screamed out the rest of the chant. Once she was down she gasped and hunched over, panting.

Nothing seemed to happen for a moment but then there was high pitched, echoey laughter. And then with a burst of blue flames and bright light, SHE appeared.

The beast with just one eye.
