Remember Falling
The Binding Spell
Previous ChapterNext ChapterThe next morning Pinkie Pie sat in a rocking chair in her room, humming her SMILE song. She was doing something she hasn't done in a long time.
Knitting a sweater.
Pinkie was so happy that she has not forgotten how to knit, and she was glad that the sweater was turning out so well despite having to use hooves to knit it. Back on Earth, back when she was still 'Mabel Pines', she used to knit all the time. The sweater she was knitting currently was just like her favorite one she had as Mabel. It was dark pink with a shooting star on the front of it.
The pink mare sighed and looked over at the large pink rug she had in the center of the room. Unknown to everypony but her (and Gummy of course), she had Bill Cipher's summoning circle drawn on the floor underneath the rug.
Tonight Pinkie will attempt to summon him. She did not understand why she was going to try though. Bill was destroyed a long time ago, in a different reality. But... if she was reborn here in Equus, does that mean the dream demon (or even Dipper himself) were reborn here too? She... She CAN'T be alone, right?
Pinkie shook her head. No, she was SURE she wasn't alone. She felt it deep in her bones, and she was going to prove it.
Tonight.
I growled, walking through the Everfree with Firestarter on my back and the unconsess Warrior floating behind me within my magical grip.
Upon Firestarter's request we were bring him with us, much to my annoyance. The kid says we should have him tag along, at least until he wakes up. I just don't see the point, why not just teleport back to Ponyville and leave him somewhere for those ponies to find him? That way we no longer have to deal with the damn unicorn.
Suddenly, I felt Warrior shift within my grasp.
"Hey! I think he's waking up!" Firestarter announced with joy.
I stopped and turned my head towards Warrior. Indeed he appeared to be awaking so I set him on the ground. Firestarter hopped off my back as I turned my body towards Warrior and sat down.
Warrior moaned and slowly opened his eyes. He squinted and looked around, mumbling out a simple "Huh?"
"Welcome back to the world of the living!"
The white unicorns eyes snapped the rest of the way open when he heard my voice. He tried to sit up but he fell back down with a groan of pain.
I smirked at how pathetic he was, "I wouldn't try to sit up for a while, Warrior. You took quite a beaten."
"Buck you," Warrior growled.
"Such language!" I tisked, "I would watch your mouth if I were you, there are children here." I nodded my head towards Firestarter.
"Um, I don't mind." Firestarter said awkwardly.
"Children?" Warrior looked to the side and his eyes widened with horror when he saw Firestarter.
"...Spike?! What's going on?! Why are you with this- this THING?!" He screamed before turning his attention back to me. "Did... Did you foalnap him?! How DARE you! Your a sick son of a-!"
"Foalnap?" I laughed, cutting him off. "I did no such thing! Firestarter came with me willingly. Right, kid?"
"Uh, yeah. Sorry Shining." The baby dragon apologised with a nervous smile.
Warrior's jaw dropped. He was quiet for a moment before he stuttered out a "What?""
I floated behind Firestarter and grabbed his shoulders, the kid looked up at me with an awkward smile. "We made a deal. The kid come with me and helps me out with my plans, and in return I will never abandon him."
"Deal? What are you, some kind of demon?" Warrior growled/asked.
"Yup! But not just any kind of demon, I'm a DREAM demon! The most powerful kind of demon in all of the multiverse!" I smirked smugly as I let go of Firestarter.
"But... But Spike, why? Why did you turn your back on us and join this... dream demon?" Warrior said with defeat. The said dragon frowned with sadness and looked at me before looking back at the unicorn.
"Because she's taken care of me since I was a pup. She's my mother. I love her and I always will. Nothing will ever make me stop loving her." Firestarter whispered.
"Mother? Taken care of you?" The white stallion asked in confusion. "But I thought Twi-" he stopped. His eyes widened with realization. He then looked at me with absolute horror.
"...Twily?"
I grinned widely and cackled with sick glee, "Wow, it's taken you this long to figure it out? I thought you were smarter than that!"
"Twily... what's happened to you?" Warrior whispered.
"I woke up from a 17 year lie."
"Lie? What do you mean?"
I rolled my eye "The lie of living as the pathetic pony known as 'Twilight Sparkle' when I'm actually a all-powerful, all-knowing dream demon named-"
"But you ARE Twilight Sparkle!"
Rage rose within me at being cut off. My eye flashed red making Firestarter and Warrior flinch away. I took a deep breath and pushed my anger back down.
"Okay, Warrior, let's get one thing straight here. I was never 'Twilight Sparkle'. That was a big ass lie. My name is Bill Cipher- not 'Twilight', get it? I am a fucking DEMON and I will be treated as such." I snarled before finishing my rant with, "But if you HAVE to call me any other name other then mine, you will call me 'Twipher'. Remember it Warrior because if you call me by that damn pony name again I will kill you where you stand."
"... Alright, 'Twipher'." Warrior mumbled with a slow nod, he clearly was within deep thought. I was about to take a look at what he was thinking when I felt Firestarter pull my tail, getting my attention.
"Hey, um, do I have to call you 'Bill' or 'Twipher' too?" The drake asked.
I sighed, "Kid, I do not care what you call me. Your situation is different from his and everyone else's, so feel free to call me whatever you want."
"Okay," Firestarter nodded, "You do not wish to be calIed Twilight anymore so I will respect that. I will call you Twipher instead. Anyway..." He then looked over at the oddly quiet Warrior with a look of worry, "What do we do with your brother?"
Hmm... What SHOULD we do with the stallion? We can't just let him go... I need someone around to help me with my plans. I have Firestarter... but he is mainly around for company. I need someone to help my get my work done... Wait, that's it!
I grinned, "Heh, I know what to do with him, kid."
I grabbed Warrior with my icy blue colored magic, making him gasp out with shock, and pulled the stallion close to me. His blue pony eyes met my sickly yellow demonic one.
"Okay Warrior, here's the facts- You know too much. But killing you is off the table, so..."
I grabbed his head and tilted it to the right side. He began struggling making me sigh with annoyance. I used my magic to hold him still and reached a hoof out, putting it against his neck and focusing my magic.
Warrior gasped with pain as I burned a triangle with an eye in the middle onto his neck. Once that was done I released him from my magical hold and let him fall to the ground.
"Congratulations, Warrior! You have just been promoted from captain of the royal guard to my personal puppet!" I laughed.
The white unicorn raised his head and looked at me with eyes clouded with pain, yet I could see a look of horror on his face. He tried to speak but no words came out.
"Don't even try to speak, the binding spell I used on you makes it so you can not speak unless I want you to." I chuckled and looked up at the sky.
"Now let's get going, it's going to be dark in a few hours and I want to cover as much ground as possible before night come's."
