i was out shopping when I saw him for the first time. I nearly tripped over my own hooves when I saw him. He seemed to be made up of all sorts of creatures, and it made literally no sense. How was that even possible? Then I saw who he was with. Of all the ponies he could've been with, she was the most unexpected. The fact that she was with him gave me courage, and I walked over to investigate.

"Hello?" I asked.

"Hm? Oh, hello. Are we in your way? I'm sorry, I-"

"It's okay, Fluttershy, you're not in my way. I was wondering about him..." I told her, nodding at him.

"Oh, that's Discord... he probably would've introduced himself, but he's obsessed with a song somepony wrote about him and he's been listening to it for hours. I can't get him to stop."

"Oh?" I answered, looking at him, noticing that he was wearing headphones. I looked, and sure enough, they were plugged into an mp3 player. I unplugged them.

Discord, I'm howling at the moon, and sleeping in the middle of a summer afternoon,

The song blasted momentarily, before he quickly shut it off and yelled at me.

"WHAT did you do THAT for?" he shouted, "I was merely trying to enjoy my song!"

"As I hear it, you've been enjoying it for hours. I think it's a good time for you to take a break. Besides, I'm curious. I wanna know more about you."

"You want to know more about me?" he asked, incredulously. I didn't understand why, I would've thought everypony would be curious. Come to think of it, though...

"Yes, I do. My name is Rainbow Rose."

"Yes, yes, nice to meet you, so, what do you want to know?"

"As much as you're willing to tell."
