"Fluttershy attempts redeeming a tiny Queen Chrysalis? "

In Fluttershy's homely little cottage, sitting in the glass jar with holes in it, Chrysalis snarked. "You know... I'm honestly surprised. Actually trying to a villain who doesn't have a sob-story or a scapegoat waiting in the rings? How surprising of you ponies."

Fluttershy said, "Celestia had me redeem Discord."

"You mean the god of chaos who made her kingdom actually interesting? She just wanted to eat her love cake and have it too. You could have depowered and tried to redeem Sombra, or those idiotic con-pony brothers, or that big mouth casino owner they used to work for. But no, you redeem the god of chaos because he's the most "fun" to keep around, as long as she's not dealing with his antics personally."

"That's... that isn't... that can't be... How did you know all that?!"

"You may have corrupted most of my precious babies against their devoted mother... But I still had a few who haven't stabbed me in the back me for a free meal." Chrysalis thought of the call mares in Los Pegasus.

"You're the one who was starving them!"

"YOU ACTUALLY BELIEVE THAT NONSENSE?! AN ARMY MARCHES ON IN ITS STOMACH! AND IF IT WAS TRUE! WHAT IN BLUE BLAZING TARTARUS WOULD I EVER HAVE A BLUE BLAZING REASON TO 'STARVE' MYSELF?!"

"Uh... that is... um... You're really really evil?"

"Evil?! HA! The bee thinks the spider is evil. The spider is just hungry. Your Equestria is built on the 'peace' of other 'peaceful' kingdoms in history. Disposing of heads of state that don't suit your fancy and replacing them leaders who know whom they owe their throne to."

"Well, that's not exactly... it wasn't something we..."

"And that's when I realized Chryssy was right and there were lots of creatures we SHOULD HAVE BEEN teaching friendship to instead of just repeating back lessons that the normal citizens of Equestria knew already," Fluttershy said.

"I hate you so much," Tirek said.

"I'm thinking long term, you should learn to do the same," Chrysalis said still in her jar.

Sunny Starscout said from the podium,
"And today we celebrate the changelings for saving us selfish ponies from our own self-destructive urges."

The crowd of obedient ponies cheered, Queen Chrysalis sitting on her ornate pillow flanked by her changeling/Breezies hybrids.

"Think long term," Chrysalis said to herself.
