"Coronation, Twilight Sparkle? This is bad comedy."

Princess Celestia and Princess Luna had been moments away from combining their crowns and giving them to Twilight Sparkle, giving up their centuries of life experience in exchange for a Princess whose neuroses' were LEGENDARY, labeling any who objected to this as 'afraid of change.'

An alien warship, 'The Revenge' for those who knew its name, cast a long shadow over Canterlot.

From the spaceship came a purple giant robot with a crown shaped head and an orange fusion cannon on one arm alongside a violet robot with horn. They was followed by a swarm of blue batlike robots led by a bigger and even meaner looking version of them.

All of them bore a familiar triangular face insignia.

"Flesh creatures of Equus, where Megatron failed, I, Galvatron, will succeed! This time the Deceptcon's invasion of Equestria will be total and complete."

"You and every other villain who likes to hear himself talk!" Rainbow Dash shouted.

Galvatron transformed into a self mounted cannon and vaporized Rainbow Dash, if she wasn't the fastest pony alive (Pinkie Pie skipping the space between A and B doesn't count).

Angel the bunny rabbit thought, 'Where is Fluttershy's all powerful chaos god boyfriend when we need him?'

"In another universe, I humiliated you and made you my play thing, as a TODDLER!" Discord taunted the planet eating god-machine.

Unicron rumbled. "And I remember those events myself crystal clear. But that was then, this is now."

Discord snapped his fingers and turned Unicron into a planet sized cheese cake... the cheese cake instantly turned to metal and transformed into a robotic demon. "I will not be felled so easily this time, without your Mother to do your fighting for you."

"... This is gonna suck." Discord said as he was blasted by a super nova's worth of Dark Energon.

"Time to go splat little one!" Scourge taunted raising his foot before being blasted in the face by Flurry Heart. The toddler Alicorn giggled.

Being sent skidding next to his master, Galvitron struck him leaving a dent. "WEAKLING!"

"Gee, that's how your buddies when they get hurt?" Rainbow Dash shouted.

"GALVATRON HAS NO FRIENDS!"

"Easy to see why."

Galvatrom continued to swat the annoying horse fly, but the missed shots caused towers to crumble. Ponies appeared in blue flashes as Luna teleported them out of the falling buildings. While the buildings were gripped in a gold aura as Celestia let them down gently.

Cadence's blue barrier deflected the cheap shots Galvatron and his minions tried to take on the Alicorns.

Twilight and Cyclonus traded lasers in the sky.

"FALL IN THE NAME OF GALVATRON!"

"Why do you work for someone so horrible?!"

"Galvatron is the only one with the might and will to unite the Decepticons, to lead us to glorious conquest!"

"There's nothing glorious about being bullies!"

Twilight got a shot right in Cyclonus' chest, sending him straight into his master, giving the Alicorns the opening they needed to regroup.

"And that's when we realized that retiring was not such a bright idea, and decided we needed to listen to our own lesson on sharing responsibility," Princess Luna explained to the little bat ponies.

The Thestrals had begun the slow process of assimilating back into Ponykind, relating much to the visiting giant alien robots, and their own princess, this being a culture they did not know.

Many Thestrals worked at the Cybertron embassy, the newest addition to Ponyville.
