Birthday request "Maud and Trixie friendship"

"How about one about a friendship between Maud Pie and Trixie?"
"In retrospect, maybe it was a good thing Galvatron decided to invade Equestria on the day of Twilight's coronation, or the princesses' wouldn't have realized that leaving all their responsibilities on Twilight was selfish and irresponsible. And didn't begin reforming the prerequisites for becoming a goddess." Maud Pie said, looking at the massive statue of the Alicorns fighting together against the evil alien robot invader.
"Are you implying the great and powerful Trixie was unworthy of becoming an Alicorn?" Trixie struck a statuesque pose, flaring her wings.
"... No." Maud said with a straight face.
"GOOD! Because Trixie is most definitely worthy of divinity! At least Trixie has had temples built in her name!"
"All hail Trixie, Goddess of Illusions," said some passing by street hustlers.
"See? The other Alicorns need to let loose and accept the ponies' unconditional love of them."
"... Can we get back to the game of Dragon Pit now?" Trixie and Maud floated a dozen feet above the part, a cloud newly made that could support Earth ponies and enchanted objects like the board game pieces and dice.
"Oh! Right! Sorry!" Trixie rolled, just barely missing the trap square. "Pity Starlight couldn't join us. She's the one who got us hooked on this game."
"Responsibilities do that, makes it harder to hang out, so take pleasure and meaning in the times you can."
"I could always turn us into dragon and create a pocket realm of the game again."
"Isn't as fun with just two players."
"Blast. When you're right you're right."
"A gratuitous statement of a circular statement."
"Don't start sounding like your husband now."
"Sorry."
"So you becoming an Alicorn too or not?"
"Maybe when I'm close to dying of old age. Mortality is gonna become a novelty. I want as many memories of it as I can."
"Trixie... sees... your logic. Begrudging."
"Status and power do not brings love nor happiness. Do not run away from all that was."
"Oh Trixie isn't so immature as to still think THAT! ... You hear how Soarin' and Rainbow's foal is now my acolyte?"
"She nearly had a heart attack. Hear how I got a teaching job at the rock university?"
"You're no longer it's only graduate. Congratulations. If anyone can teach ponies' about rocks... it's you."
"I'm told I'm very good at spotting rocks others would dismiss as rough and unpleasant and seeing their real value underneath. Even if they'll stubbornly resist a shining at first."
"Sometimes that roughness is what makes them special."
"True. Even rock being exactly the same would be too boring. Somethings Starlight had to learn on her own... though every rock being treated the same, being equal, didn't sound so bad."
"Funny your sister and her friends think they're the apex of friendship when they became friends because they had to save the world... while we became friends-"
"Because we needed each other. Same as them. Then realized we were greater together than separate. ... That extra big rock harvest that year, it brought so many new rocks... include some that needed extra work... but they were all the more precious for it because of that."
"Indeed. Even for a goddess who strives for the heights. In the lowest depths you can find a diamond."
