After a major accident in Twilight's lab Pinkie Pie, Tempest Shadow and Rainbow Dash have been flung into Remnant where they would change the world forever.

Twilight was in the middle of a teleportation experiment that Tempest Shadow volunteered for with Pinkie Pie being there to support her, it all goes wrong when Rainbow Dash crashes into the thaumic capacitor for the experiment, sucking Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash and Tempest Shadow into it Pinkie Pie ends up in Atlas while Tempest Shadow and Rainbow end up on the isle of Patch.
