Chapter 1: The Introduction
Author's Note
Before you read, I had to make a lot of changes in this story of mine. I had to remove a chapter that was unnecessary. I also had to edit the long description as well. I hope you all enjoy my story. :)
Chapter 1: The Introduction
My name’s Blazin Lights (Pronounced Blaze-in). I’m seventeen years old. I was born in the city of Cloudsdale. My fur is light red, but with a hint of maroon; and I have a white mane with light orange stripes.
The first thing I find unique about myself is that my inner ears and freckles are apple red. My cutie mark is a lightbulb that has flames which are red and orange. It means that I am full of creativity. My eyes are very distinctive in their appearance. One half of my eye color is red and yellow with green flecks, and the other half is shiny black. This means that my field of vision is superior.
Let me introduce my family for a little bit. My mom is named Silver Sparks and my dad is Bonfire. They first met at the Wonderbolts Academy after she performed a daredevil stunt. He complimented that she was, “one high-voltage flyer”. So they began dating. They got along very well, and they got married on September 27.
About a year later, Silver had announced to her husband that she was pregnant. Bonfire was so excited; eventually, he decided to spread his wings and flew out the window. On the day I was born, he took her to the Ponyville Hospital. They got themselves checked in, and they were taken to the third floor south.
“It’s a colt,” Nurse Redheart had announced.
“He’s... perfect,” Silver had weeped happily.
“Congratulations,” she said.
“He’s our little Wonderbolt,” Bonfire had whispered.
Twelve years ago, there was an event in Equestria that no pony would ever forget. About eighty percent of the population had dissolved, because of a magic spell. One sinister centaur named Tirek found a way to banish ponies to a world that no pony knows. He was banned from Canterlot after he broke into Princess Celestia’s magic library. Weeks after the incident, we as ponies had to repopulate for the good of our future.
One day after I was six months old, the sun rose; the Ponyville Daily newspaper had arrived on the front porches. All of the colts and fillies went to school. Everypony in town was getting started on their day, until things got worse.
“What do you want from us?!” Silver Sparks had scolded the intruders.
“Nothing but your child,” said Tirek, and knocked her out, then he said, “Take him away!”
“Yes sir,” one of his soldiers said.
The soldiers picked me up, and I got thrown into the back of an iron cage. There were five colts who suffered abuse from Tirek’s soldiers.
“Don’t worry Blaze. We hope that somepony will save you!” Bonfire had shouted out, while the carriage rolled away.
They took me to an abandoned area called City 27. It was a holding area where all of the younglings were either sent away to a different universe, or locked up. I was placed in a line that would take us to the nearest concentration camp. I heard some soldier fighting against the others from the army. Her plan was to save one colt from the line.
She whispered into my ear, “I’ll save you.”
That was a relief. She then carried me to a portal to send me to a planet called Earth. She was on the lookout for other soldiers. Luckily, we made it to the portal.
“Be good. I hope you’ll be safe there.”
“Hey you! Stop!” Soldier 99 yelled out.
She was worried about what to do next, so she said, “Uh oh! See you soon little one.”
She pushed me gently into the portal, and I was no longer in Equestria; unfortunately, the soldier who saved me was fired nine minutes later. It was quite upsetting to leave my family behind. It looks like I have to face some challenges in the new world. I hope that nopony would forget that I was missing. What would my life look like now?

Chapter 3: August 29, 2059
My first day of school took place at Green Valley Elementary on August 29. Jeff had to drive me there, because of safety reasoning. When we got there, we saw that most of the children were well behaved. Twenty of them wore virtual reality headsets, because it was a requirement to have educational stuff on that platform.
“I didn’t know the kids are able to have virtual reality outside,” he said to himself.
I asked him this, “What is virtual reality?”
He responded with, “Virtual reality is a place that everyone likes to go. They don’t like the real world for sure. Maybe you would have one of these for Christmas.”
“Oh I see.”
“I hope you have a great day son. We’re celebrating your first day of school by going out to dinner tonight,” he promised.
“You too,” I said when I got out of the Cadillac with my backpack.
Jeff wanted to say something important, so he said, “Be careful out there. It’s mainly because there are a lot of bad people out in this area.”
“I would. Thank you,” I got worried afterwards.
I entered the building with absolute fear. There was a teacher who took some nine-year-old’s phone away from him. I had no idea what to say to the new students in the hallway. One student said hi to me, but I didn’t know how to respond. My first class was home room.
I walked in there to see kids smiling when they first saw me. They were so excited for their first day to begin. I figured out that all of the students had believed in aliens, so that meant they believed in me. The teacher walked in the classroom, and she ordered us to take our seats. She wrote her name on an old-fashioned chalkboard.
“I’m Ms. White, and I would be your homeroom teacher for the rest of the year. Your seat will change when we go back next semester,” she spoke pleasantly then said, “Some of you all may know that we have a student from an alien world.”
All of the students were in wonder. The door had opened, and the principal sent Ms. White to the hallway. Something was off, was she not allowed to say that I was from a different world? It could be anything! Before the door had shut, he apologized to me over her choice of words.
After sixteen minutes of squawking like wild turkeys, Ms. White had her first punch. The principal didn’t know how to fight back, so he cried out for help. The cops who guarded the hallways tried to stop the fight, but they called for backup. The police had to give every parent a phone call to pick up their child immediately. They didn’t give a reason, because the situation had to be taken to court. Jeff had to call me to see if I didn’t get hurt. He arrived as fast as he could, and he took me home. It was the first day of school that’s gone terribly wrong.
“Let’s watch TV,” Jeff said to me.
“Okay,” I felt excited to see what’s going to happen next.
There were ninety-seven news channels from all over the United States that broadcasted the incident. One channel had talked about the school having their third strike from Superior Court. The principal, including the other teachers, were treated for minor injuries. That meant the elementary school would close due to violation of the school system.
Ms. White was a professional wrestler for over a decade. She was arrested and charged for aggravated assault. So yeah that’s why it all ended up in a bloodshed.
“Now that’s just sad. I thought that your first day of school would be a great start,” said Jeff.
“That was the best day ever,” I said with cheer.
He got confused then said, “Really? What’s so great about that?”
“Watching fights is like watching reality T.V, but without the screen.”
“Tell you what, I would like to show you a music store that we always go to,” he said, because he wanted to change the subject.
“What’s that place called,” I said with curiosity.
“Dead Milkshake Records. The coolest record store in all of Watauga County,” he gave me some insight, then said, “Not only do they sell vinyl, but also they have milkshakes and lots of treats.”
“Cool. Do they sell a milkshake called The Dead Milkshake?” I asked.
“Right-o! They named it after the founder gave his record store a name. We have a ton of rare records that are worth more than sports cars,” he said with excitement.
“Holy cow,” I was shocked after he said it.
“I know right? Come on. We’ve got to get the rarest records we could find.”
“Let’s go then.”
We got back to the car to go out to the record store. He turned on a song from one of the most famous rock duos in history. I had no idea who the artist was, until he told me all about it. He explained to me how and why modern music gets worse overtime. Jeff had to call Samantha to let her know what’s going on.
I saw a big sign that said Dead Milkshake Records. We walked in to hear more of that same genre. There was a wall of records that most people couldn’t even afford to purchase. He took me to the new and used section in the back. I saw the colors of: red, white, and black on an album cover.
“Is that the group you were talking about?” I asked him.
“Yes. You should listen to track two on disc one. It’s one of my favorite songs of all time,” he answered.
I took the record out to see that it was on black and red split vinyl. That meant it was a limited edition. I put the record on the turntable and dropped the needle. When the guitarist played the solo, I turned it up extremely loud. The song had ended, and I had lost my mind.
Seven hours later, we went out to a place called the Come Back Shack. Since all ponies are vegetarian, that means I would be the first to eat meat. While we got seated at a booth, Jeff was talking to Samantha about what happened. He wanted me to share some of my story for a little bit.
“I was afraid when I entered the building. These students believed in me. Ms. White wanted us to go to our seats. She said to us that I was from an alien planet. I have no idea what alien means, but what she said made me a little sad. The principal showed up, and there was a fight that came out of nowhere,” I explained my story to her.
She felt like she wanted to beat her up.
“I hate it when people treat others like this nowadays. We need to find a way for him to get his education,” she said to him.
Jeff had asked her this, “Why not homeschooling?”
“I can’t do that. You’re the only one that’s in charge of the house. That means you can teach him until I get back from work.”
“That’s true, but aren’t you exhausted after being a surgeon this late?”
“Right. I usually rest within that time,” she claimed then said, “I have an idea. Why don’t you start teaching him in the morning, while I teach in the afternoon. How’s that?”
“Sounds good,” he answered then said, “He’ll be on his way for success by then.”

Chapter 4: The Friendship Club
One day after high school, there was a letter in the mailbox on February 5, 2069. I thought it was junk mail at a first glance; not until my name was printed. There was no address on the envelope. Samantha thought that it was an early Valentines Day card. I opened it and saw a message from a new club at the high school.
“
Dear Lewis Lemmings,
Have you not made any friends since freshman year? Do you want to learn the right ways to make friends? You’re invited to join our first meeting after school on February 8. We’re located in the cafeteria.
Sincerely,
Jane Orrall (Founder of Friendship Club) “
She asked about the message I got in the mail. I explained that it was a group that helps students to be friendly to others. She encouraged me to go there, because last year there wasn’t any club that was similar to that. She didn’t want me to answer this instant. Three days after thinking about it, I decided to take a shot for this after-school meeting.
When I entered the cafeteria, there were six teenage kids who waited for me to show up. The one thing that seemed off was that there wasn’t an adult or anything.
“Hello there Lewis,” she walked toward me, then she gave me a handshake, “Welcome to the Friendship Club!”
“Are you the founder?” I asked.
“Yes I am,” she responded then said, “There’s supposed to be seven of us in here. That’s why we didn’t want you to get confused. Let’s introduce ourselves. Since we know your name, can you tell us a little bit about yourself?”
“I write music and collect vinyl records. I’m required to visit Samuel Ontario Nicholson Laboratories everyday. They don’t know where I came from yet, but he hopes there would be an answer someday.”
“Cool. My name’s Robert Carney. I mow the grass every week,” he said.
“Emily Lawrence. I draw cartoons just to pass some time,” she gave her greeting to me.
“I’m Ellie, but I don’t have a last name,” she said in an awkward manner.
Someone punched her arm to say her last name.
“Ow! Charleston. Ellie Charleston. What the heck did you do that for,” she yelled at her.
“Ellie know better,” she yelled back.
“Sorry about that. Her English hasn’t approved yet. By the way, her name’s Laura while mine’s Danny,” he said while she got stiff.
“I see. So y’all are best friends. Right?” I asked Jane.
“Kind of. We’re here because you’re related to us. You’re not alone. You will learn the right ways of friendship. It all starts next week. Anyways, that wraps up with our first meeting. Thanks for attending. We’ll meet again at the cafeteria.”
“Bye Lewis,” all five of her friends said.
“See you all later,” I said then left the cafeteria to go home.
A week later, there was a second meeting for the Friendship Club. I was looking forward to learn friendship for the first time.
“First off. What do you know about making friends?” Jane asked me to see if I knew something.
“Well, the only thing that I know is just talk to someone,” I answered her question.
“That’s it? Was that the only thing you’ve been taught?!” Jane asked with shock, then she said, “There are many ways to have friends. It’s friendship that’s missing.”
“I get it. Does it mean we focus on making friends and being social?”
“You’re right. We would teach lessons about friendship, and we would have fun for sure.”
“That’s awesome!”
Danny had turned on the projector, while Laura pulled the screen down.
“One of the ways to grow friendship are called the Elements of Harmony,” Jane said.
“Okay. What are the elements?” I asked.
“We’ll show you.”
She used a clicker to go to the next slide.
“The first Element of Harmony is kindness. Being kind to others can go a long way for all of us.”
“What do you mean by that?” I asked her.
“She means that being kind is the same thing as being nice to others,” Emily explained to me.
“Thanks Emily,” Jane complemented, then she said, “What I was saying is that if you’re nice to your friends and family, they would give you appreciation.”
“That makes sense,” I said in excitement.
“The second Element of Harmony is honesty. Honesty is about being truthful to one another. If you tell someone the truth over your actions, one can easily forgive you.”
I raised my hand, then she said, “Yes?”
“Can I guess an element please?” I asked her.
“Of course. Go on ahead.”
“Isn’t there an element called being generous?”
“That’s right! Generosity is another element of harmony.”
Jane went over the rest of the elements, while I took some notes. After that, she asked all of her friends to have a chat with me. She wanted to figure out if I could make a friend with the use of the elements. It was mainly a little social hall that she planned. I had to talk to one person at a time.
It was down to the point where me and Danny got along. Jane asked him on how it all went. He said that we had a few things in common. He also said that me and him were planning to see a movie. She was impressed with the results she had so far.
My next person I wanted to be friends with was Jane. The reason is that I’ve been wanting to know her for a little bit. She sort of has the same feeling with me though. I walked to Jane, then I sat down.
“Hey Jane. What’s up?” I asked her.
“Nothing much. How about you?” Jane replied.
“I heard that you’re wanting to get to know me. Is that right?”
“Indeed.”
“Let me ask you this. Why did you say that I’m related to all of you?”
“Because you’ve been wanting to learn about friendship. Even though we know all of the six elements, it means you can spread friendship for our school.”
I got confused on how she responded, so I said, “Okay? I thought we were talking about me being related.”
“Oh that’s right. It looks like I might have gotten lost with the subject. I said that because we are from the same area where you’re from.”
“Hold on a minute. Why did you...”
I looked at my watch to see that it was twenty minutes before five. It was quite surprising how much time had flown by. I didn’t want to rush through this meeting. I had to let Jane know that I had to be at Mr. Nicholson’s lab. She understood my reasons why, so she and her friends said goodbye to me before I left.
Blazin Lights: (Episode 1) The Origin
Today was my sixteenth birthday, and I was in school at that day. I finished up the Friendship Club meeting with my best friends. It was like one of the best days for me and Jane. We walked to my house around three thirty in the afternoon. When we got there, I didn’t expect this.
“Surprise,” my parents had yelled out.
I caught a glance of fifty whiskey bottles at the table.
So I said, “Wait a second. I’m not old enough to...”
“You’re old enough to drink whiskey. The law is no longer twenty-one. It’s now sixteen,” Jeff explained.
“It’s your first whiskey party. Can you believe it? I got the day off from work,” Samantha said with excitement.
“We invited some of our friends over, including your best friends.”
“Hey there handsome,” said Emily.
“What’s up my man,” Danny gave me a high-five after he said his sentence.
“You’re not seriously going to drink all of that, right,” Jane asked me with concern.
“Oh heck no. There’s no way that I would do that for sure,” I said in a serious manner.
“No?!” Robert said with shock, then he said, “You should drink all of it! Why not?!”
“Don’t encourage him to do that, Robert,” Laura said to him angrily.
“Oh shut up,” he responded.
Jane had yelled out, “Hey! What did we learn about the Elements of Harmony?!”
The whole room was silent for a few seconds.
“Sorry Silverstream,” he apologized.
She had to make him be quiet.
“Thank you. Now please go apologize to her and Lewis,” she wanted to have an apology.
After he apologized to me and her, we started the party. I heard the needle drop to one of my favorite artists. My friends have never heard of that kind of music, because they were more interested in dubstep. It seemed like a great opportunity for them to discover something new. A few of the others danced in the living room, while we talked to other people.
I opened the first bottle of whiskey, and everyone in the room had to watch me prepare the first shot. Jane got concerned about me doing all of this. So she had to step forward to say her word.
“Please Lewis. You don’t have to do this. I’m awfully concerned about your brain cells. It’s mainly that your brain hasn’t fully developed yet. You really have to think about the amount of alcohol that you’re about to drink.”
I had to think about what’s going to happen if I drink too much whiskey, so I responded, “You’re right. Drinking does take responsibility.”
She smiled and gave me a hug, then she said, “I knew that you would understand my points. See? You always listen to the hippogriff. I mean girls,” she had to correct herself afterwards.
“Hippogriff? What’s a hippogriff,” I asked after they kept saying weird things.
“We’ll talk about it later.”
Nine hours later, the party was over. All of the people who attended my party had left. Jane couldn’t even believe that I drank seventeen bottles of whiskey without a problem. My friends had gotten themselves drunk, all because of not drinking responsibly. It was one of the best days I’ve ever had.
I planned a sleepover on the night after my birthday. It was part two of my birthday celebration. We watched a basketball tournament while we munched on cheese pizza. Our home team had won eighty-seven to sixty-four. It was ten minutes after eleven, and it was time for all of us to go to sleep.
There was a problem with Jane. She forgot to bring her sleeping bag. There wasn’t an air mattress or anything. The only way for her to sleep was in my bed. I was fast asleep when she knocked on the door.
“Come in,” I had to let her know it was alright to go in.
She opened the door and asked, “Is it alright if I can sleep in your bed? Just for tonight?”
“Sure,” I said with a smile.
“I got something for you.”
She pulled out six plush toys out of her backpack. There were: two land, one alicorn, one unicorn, and two pegasus ponies. They looked like the Elements of Harmony. I saw the pink pony, and jumped out of my bed in terror. She got confused about why I got scared.
“What’s wrong Lewis,” Jane asked.
“She... she scares me,” I said in fear.
“Why does she scare you?”
I explained the truth I knew, “She destroyed the blue pegasus pony for no reason.”
“Where did you hear all of that,” she asked, because she knew something wasn’t right.
“On the internet.”
“That’s not real Lewis. I read it too, and there’s no way she would do that. She cares about her family and friends. Trust me. She would make you smile,” Jane had to say her input.
It took me a moment to realize that reading negative stuff wasn’t worth the time.
“I shouldn’t trust the internet. The only way to hear real stuff is by the ear.”
Jane blushed, “You’re understanding about what we say to you. Isn’t that great? You’re on your way to become...”
“A better person,” we said to each other.
I gave her a hug after I listened to her advice.
“After all of these conversations we have, I feel like we’re in love,” I said to her.
She smiled and said, “Me too.”
I blushed, then I said these four and shocking words, “I love you Jane.”
“Love you too Lewis,” she responded.
We played with our plush toys for a little bit. I looked at the time and realized it was already midnight. We gave ourselves a nice kiss and went to sleep.

Chapter 6: Things Just Got Interesting
One year has passed since my sixteenth birthday, and it was the beginning of winter break. I heard a loud banging noise from the front door. At first, there wasn’t any noise going on, other than the sound of a girl’s voice. It turned out that it was my girlfriend screaming in terror. I opened the door to see Jane in hostage with the most wanted gang members.
“Well, well. If it isn’t the infamous Lewis,” some dude with a revolver had said.
“Help...” Jane tried to call out for help, but another member from the group had to force her mouth shut.
“Quiet you,” another member had said.
“What do you want?!” I yelled.
He laughed in a teasingly manner, “We were hoping if you could do us a favor. I’m giving you the gun in order for her to be executed.”
“What?!”
“That’s right! We want her dead for sure. If you successfully kill her, you would be one of us. If you refuse to do that...” he grinned then said, “...there will be consequences coming your way! So don’t be a runt! Be a man!”
“I don’t want to die,” she said then cried.
It was a hard choice for me to pick. I had no idea what to do. Suddenly, I felt something growing out of my back.
He got a little bit impatient about how long I have to decide, so he said, “What are you waiting for?! Kill the girl!”
My friends ran out from the park to watch what’s about to happen. I continued to feel pain from my back. Something had started to grow, and the back of my shirt had ripped. Jane and her friends couldn’t even believe what happened to me. I got my very own pair of pegasus wings.
“What the,” the guy with the revolver had no idea what’s going on.
Jane was in full excitement and said, “You’ve got wings!”
“I know,” I said with bravery.
I flew up in the air to see what’s like flying for the first time. The next thing I’ve done was save Jane from execution, and have the gang’s weapons taken away. It was similar to that one experience when I suffered near-death. All of the members ran away like cowards. My friends down there were full of joy when I flew for the first time.
She gave me a kiss and said, “I knew you would save me.”
As soon as I landed near the high school, my friends rushed toward us to see if we were alright. Jane and the others had cheered for me. Danny had complemented that I was the hero of Watauga County. Emily said that listening to the Elements of Harmony made me become a better pony. But still, there came confusion about how they talked to me.
“What’s going on? Why do I have wings on my back?” I asked them.
The cheering went silent, while Jane asked, “Do you remember the whiskey party we celebrated a while back?”
“Of course I remember us having a great time...”
“You know we kept saying weird things, right,” Robert interrupted.
It took me a bit to remember what they said, so I said, “Right. Here’s the question. If you guys kept saying these things, what does it all mean then?”
My friends thought about what to say next, so Laura had said these nine words, “It’s time that we would reveal our real identities.”
“Let me get this straight. Y’all are not from planet Earth?” I asked them.
“That’s right. You’re not from earth as well,” Emily responded.
“I know that for sure, but the only thing I don’t know is...”
“...where you came from,” Danny had finished my sentence.
“Guess what? All of us are from Equestria,” Ellie had stated.
They showed me pictures of their real selves, including their real names. I got a picture of what I’m supposed to look like.
“These photos are in chronological order,” said Jane with a smile, then she said, “The Elements of Harmony you’re learning would mean a lot to us.”
It started to feel like all of this was a nightmare, except that it was all real.
I started to freak out by saying, “What have you done to me?!”
“Nothing. Learning the elements are a good thing. It would turn you back into a pony. Your mind will be all clean when you learn all of them,” Jane replied.
“Blaze. Listen to us. We came to planet Earth to save you. The princesses had sent us down here, because you are our last hope of defeating Tirek,” said Danny.
Ellie had stepped up, then she said, “He’s right! You’ve been communicating to humans for way too long. It’s time for you to return to Equestria.”
Ocellus (Emily) used her magic to turn themselves back into their own forms. She gave Silverstream (Jane) a potion to turn me back into a pegasus. All of them blinked their eyes, but I disappeared within half a second. How did I disappear that fast? It was all simple, by having an ability to fly at ludicrous speed.
When they opened their eyes, they had to let Silverstream know that I disappeared. The search party has begun. I went to the bar to drink with a drummer. He asked me on why I have a a pair of wings, but I changed the subject on him. The band that he was in had broke up.
Samuel walked in, and he said, “There you are Lewis. There’s a limo waiting for you outside.”
I got confused on what’s going on, so I asked, “Where are you taking me?”
“You’ll find out when we get there,” he replied.
As I went outside of the bar, there were two guys who guarded the limousine. One of them had opened the door for me to get in.
“Afternoon Lewis,” one member from the Navy had said.
He gave me a gentle handshake as I went in the limousine.
“Sargent Davis. We’re glad to have you join us.”
Samuel had shut the door, while he went to another limousine. I turned on the T.V to see a news headline about a universe invading our home planet. Sargent Davis offered me a cigarette, but I passed on the offer. He told the driver to start driving. As soon as we drove away, he wanted me to hear Samuel’s phone call.
Twelve minutes later, my friends showed up to the bar. I left the tracker on the stool. Ocellus used a spell to go back a few minutes before they arrived. She looked at the GPS to find out where I went. Then she went back to her friends to figure out a plan.
The Ponyville Daily newspaper had published the final article. Lots of ponies thought about what happened to me. Some ponies thought that I took it off for others to not know about my life. What’s even worse? Tirek was planning another invasion.
They thought that I died from a car accident. His plan was to take over Equestria, but this time he wanted to rule the world. His army had gotten bigger for the past seventeen years. They’re deadlier than the royal guards at Princess Celestia’s castle. Everypony was in danger of losing their homes.
Blazin Lights: (Episode 1) The Origin
Three days later, I was in a restricted area. Nobody was allowed to get in, except for the army and test subjects. Me and the scientists walked the halls to show me all sorts of creatures. One room had a mutant that talks to other animals. Another room was soundproof, because it creates horrifying sounds. I got creeped out by seeing blue and yellow slush in a different room.
The first test I had was to communicate to anthromorphic animals. It was half human and half animal. They wanted to find out if it was possible for humans to talk to one another. One subject waited for me in a room that was bulletproof. Samuel warned that the being might be considered dangerous.
They locked me in there, while the scientists took notes. We looked at each other like we had no idea what was up.
“Hello,” I gave it my greeting.
“Hi,” he responded.
“Whoa! I didn’t know that you can...”
“Oh yes I can! Name’s Chance. People call me stop taking a Chance. As you can see that I’m a shark.”
“How can you breathe without water?”
He answered, “I drink water in order to stay hydrated.”
“Impressive.”
“What planet did you come from?”
“Long story. I’m from the universe called Equestria,” I tried to keep it brief.
“No way! How did you get down there?”
“When I was younger, Tirek took me away. It was believed that I got rescued by an unknown pony.”
“You weren’t kidding when you meant long story, eh?”.
“Yep. Some of my friends from there tried to save me, but I had no choice other than to save the human world. Anyways, I think I’ve talked too much for today,” I tried to end the conversation.
“Big mistake man. You’ve let your home planet down. Why did you betray them?”.
“The government wanted to use me as a super weapon. I’ve been living here for seventeen years now. I didn’t believe in them. That’s all.”
The speaker went off, “Alright guys. Time’s up. Lewis, Chance, please report to the hallway.”
Chance asked the announcer, “Now?”
“Right now,” he said in a serious manner.
We came out of the room to see twenty two knocked out soldiers from the Navy. He figured out that the military base was under attack. We saw six members of the SWAT team coming toward us. One had ordered Chance to free all of the beings in their cells. The other had ordered me to stay with the team.
“I’ll be back when you get him out of the base,” Chance had hollowed out.
“There’s no time for chit chat. Get out there and release the creatures,” one member from the team had yelled.
He went in there, while I stood there confused about how they’re acting.
“Lewis. Oh thank goodness you’re okay,” a female member had said.
“Wait a minute. If there’s six of you, are you my friends from Boone?”
Ocellus revealed their real identities.
“That’s right,” Sandbar (Danny) answered, “Since you still remember us...”
My hands had turned into hooves after he paused his sentence.
“...you learned another element,” he finished.
“You have learned about being honest. Now that you have four more elements to learn, you’ve found out who you’re really are,” Silverstream spoke to me sweetly.
I looked at my hooves, then looked at her and said, “Yes. After all of these years being human, I truly am Blazin Lights.”
Gunshots have fired from the left side, while Smolder (Ellie) said, “Uh... guys? We need to get outside.”
“Hurry,” Ocellus yelled out.
We ran outside to find a safe place to hide, while Chance and his band fought against the Navy. The blue and yellow slush had an ability to make rockets fly the wrong way. There was an explosion after we left the testing facility. I felt a sense that something was hurt after a bullet came in its arm. So, I rescued it from being smashed with the remains of a building.
“Thank you,” it said while I cured it with healing powers.
“No problem! I didn’t know that I had an ability to heal others,” I responded.
My head changed into my original form. The SWAT team vehicle had pulled in, while Yona (Laura) told us to get in. Silverstream stated that we were going back to Boone for us to return to Equestria. We drove away with a big bang. Chance and his band managed to survive all of this.
You might wonder what happened to the others that were in the facility. Mr. Nicholson, unfortunately, had passed away from a fight against the blue and yellow slush. About seventy-five percent of the Navy didn’t survive the bomb. Chance had rescued his wife from a wall of fire. Sargent Davis walked away with one foot.
Blazin Lights: (Episode 1) The Origin
Chapter 8: The Last Goodbyes
It was hours before the disaster, and we made it back there in a safe manner.
I asked Yona, “Can we stop by my house real quick? I want to say goodbye to Jeff and Samantha before I go.”
“We don’t have time for that. Tirek would take over Equestria any time from now,” Smolder explained.
“Smolder. That’s two days from now,” said Ocellus.
Yona said to all of us, “He’s right. He loves his family. He won’t abandon them for sure. Hang on guys. I’m making a quick detour.”
The citizens were in full panic as time flew by. People had smashed windows to get stuff for free. More than forty graffiti artists destroyed the high school. We drove across the street and saw dead bodies in the middle of the road.
“I didn’t realize that running over people is a thing,” she talked to herself.
I yelled at her, “Yona! Stop running over their bodies already! Look what you did?! You’re making it worse!” I said after she went off the road.
“Quiet Blaze! If you want to see your family, it’s the only way to get through this mess,” she yelled back.
She ran over fifty-seven mailboxes for no reason. Three minutes later, we arrived at my house.
I banged on the door, then said, “Open the door please. It’s me! Lewis Lemmings! Your son!”
Samantha had opened the door, and she looked at me with shock.
She said, “Lewis! What happened to you?! Jeff! Come here! It’s Lewis!”
Jeff had rushed toward us, and said, “Where have you been for all of this time?!”
After I explained my story, Samantha asked, “Did you find out where you came from?”
“From the looks of myself, yes,” I responded in a sincere manner.
The two of them were in fact surprised, then they got nervous.
“I found shelter that would save yourselves from the bomb,” I said, then whispered all of the facts to them, “It’s located forty miles away from here. Grab all of the supplies you need to survive for several weeks. On the table there are directions on where to go for y’all to make it there.”
“Since he knows where the bomb would be deployed, we’ve got to get moving,” Jeff said in panic.
“Hold on a minute,” I said.
Everything came to a pause.
”I have to go back to my home planet. My friends right here are waiting for me to go back. That means I can’t stay here,” I said to the two of them.
Samantha had sniffled, then she said, “Does this mean...”
“Yes.”
The two of them gave me a group hug.
“Well, goodbye Lewis. We hope that you’ll see your family again,” said Samantha, then she cried.
“That doesn’t mean that I’m leaving forever. I still am coming back no matter what.”
The two of them gasped, then Jeff said, “So you’re not abandoning us. Right?”
“Of course. I would go back whenever I feel like it,” I replied.
“Blaze. It’s time to go,” said Gallus (Robert).
“Jeff. Samantha. Goodbye. I will come back soon.”
We left my house to go back to Nicholson’s lab, while the two of them got ready. Gallus fried the circuits of his security system for us to get inside. My body flew two feet in the air. My friends knew what’s about to happen. I was transformed back into a pegasus pony.
After my body had dropped to the ground, Silverstream had said, “Welcome back to the herd, Blaze.”
As soon as I got up, the portal was up and ready to go. Silverstream’s finger had pointed to the portal, which it meant after you. I took a deep breath, then I got in.
Blazin Lights: (Episode 1) The Origin
Chapter 9: Trouble in Equestria
I opened my eyes to see that we were in a castle.
“What you’re seeing right now is the Castle of Friendship. I moved the portal away from his camp. That way one of his soldiers won’t hunt you down,” said Silverstream.
“They wanted to find me?” I asked her.
“After whoever sent you to earth, he wanted to bring you back there to be his slave.”
“How dare he!”
“The ponies of the Crystal Empire have been kidnapped. We must go before he kidnaps anymore ponies,” said Ocellus.
“What are we waiting for? Let’s get out there and show them that we’re strong,” said Sandbar.
Silverstream had looked out of the window to see his army had left the city. It meant that he captured the city of Ponyville. There was a message that was on the front door.
It said, “I hope one of you idiots are reading this! I’ve captured all of your citizens, Silverstream. Are you going to cry?! Ha! You want to get them back?! I don’t think so! Oh by the way, your friends are pathetic. See you soon.
Regards,
Lord Tirek
P.S.
If you have some pony that lived on Earth for a while, I’m looking for him!”
She felt irritated after she read it to us. My friends felt a sense of worthlessness for themselves. Looks like things just started to get beefy over there.
“Is that all he’s got for us?!” I said with rage.
“No,” four of the others had said.
“No he doesn’t! He will not capture any more of us! We know that we run a better world here! Let’s put an end to this!”
Hours after the journey began, we had to find an area to rest up for the night. Smolder had dealt with monsters that wanted to fight. Gallus had started a camp fire, while we set up our tents in a cave. We discussed some of our plans to get inside of his camp. When I tried to sleep, I heard some strange noises.
The next morning arrived, I woke up to see that my friends had disappeared. You wouldn’t believe what I saw next. Another note from Tirek.
“Sucker,” it read.
I said to myself, “Oh no! How am I supposed to rescue them on my own? Well it looks like I have to find some pony else to rescue them. Oh wait. That’s right. I remember where to go.”
I flew to a town called Appleloosa to find some help. There was a brawl that occurred.
Even though I wasn’t the sheriff, I trotted then said, “Hey! Hey! Break it up!”
One of the towns ponies said, “Don’t you see? Blaze is dead.”
“That’s just a changeling who’s disguised as him,” some pony said to another.
“I really am Blazin Lights!” I tried to yell out, but the fight got worse.
Suddenly, somepony yelled, “Stop!”
The fight came to a pause.
“I’ll handle this,” he said to all of them.
He ask me some questions to see whether or not I was a changeling. He used a spell to see if I said the truth.
He said, “Alright y’all. He’s not a changeling. That’s him for sure. Wait a minute. Blaze?”
“Yeah?” I asked him.
The loudspeaker went off, “Attention citizens of Appleloosa! We would like to welcome to the one and only Blazin Lights!”
We went inside of the town hall for a meeting.
The mayor of Appleloosa stepped to the podium, then she said, “Ladies and Gentlecolts. As we get started, there are some things that we have to be aware about.”
The citizens quiet down as soon as the meeting started.
“As all of you know what’s happening, Blazin Lights has finally returned to Equestria. After seventeen years of himself being human...”
The towns ponies were in disgust after she said the word, “human”.
“I know. I know. We all are terrified of them, but he found out who he really was. He has a plan to stop the invasion. Let’s give him a round of applause everypony.”
As she stepped away from the podium, I began my speech, “Lord Tirek is on his way to capture all of our citizens. The only way to stop him and his army is to set up a raid.”
“Ooh,” the towns ponies said with sensation.
“We have to make our city look like it was in ruins. We would need weapons and magic. He’ll be arriving within the next fourteen hours from now. There’s no more time for us to spare. We must fight back,” I finished my speech.
All of the ponies chose their weapons. I gave some of the citizens tips on how to fight. Some of the ponies tore down old buildings. The first weapon workshop opened for the first time. The mayor had to let all of her citizens know to protect all of the colts and fillies.
The next morning arrived, and we were ready for all of this. All that we had to do was get in our hiding positions. Tirek and his army had showed up to Appleloosa.
“D’oh. It looks like somepony else was here, but who can it be?” Tirek asked himself.
Soldier 99 looked around the area to see who was there, then she said, “Lord Tirek.”
He turned to her then said, “Yes?”
“I see some of the citizens in cocoons.”
He responded with anger, “Chrysalis! I hate it whenever she ruins my plans.”
Something landed a few feet in front of him and his army.
Somepony had yelled, “Run,” and BANG!
Blazin Lights: (Episode 1) The Origin
All of the towns ponies trotted toward his army, then they started to fight. The mayor used her magic to knock one of his soldiers out. Seventeen of them were trapped in a net. Tirek was shocked to see his soldiers taken down like that.
While I was fighting, there was a voice that said, “Not so fast, Blaze.”
Soldier 99 used her hoof to punch my face. I collapsed to the ground as if I’m about to get captured.
“Wow. That was so much easier than Earth,” she said then laughed in a teasing manner.
My brain had a flashback of the dude with the revolver laughing.
Soldier 99 yelled, “Is that all you got little colt?! Ha! You have two options! Either give up and we stop fighting, or we’ll capture all of your citizens and watch them suffer!”
I was about to get up and fight back, but I said, “I’d choose neither. Besides, you’re more like a pony who ruins everypony’s lives.”
She stood still for a little bit.
She grabbed her sword, then she said, “Well then. It looks like it’s time for you to go! We made sure that you said goodbye to your parents. I hope you have a nice day in...”
There was a figure who was right behind Soldier 99, and it had something in its hand. She turned around, but she was whacked with a whiskey bottle. My eyes were still shut after she tried to kill me.
“Guess who’s back,” he said to me.
I opened my eyes to see it was Chance from Area 51.
“Sorry. I didn’t mean to crash in like this. Your friends wanted me to give you a little hand. Here. I’ll help you up.”
He helped me get up from the ground.
“Thanks,” I said.
“No problem. I brought my friends over to help win this war,” he replied.
Me and Chance continued our fight against his army. The blue and yellow slush took out fifty of his soldiers in three seconds. Maggie (By the way, that is Chance’s wife) cured all of the injuries for the citizens. Things were looking good for us so far.
Tirek had found us before we did.
“Ha,” he hollowed out.
I looked at him with anger.
“So, you’re the one who’s causing all of this nonsense,” he said with a wicked grin.
“It’s actually me and my friends who are a part of this,” I responded.
He used his hand and threw me to an abandoned building.
“Nice try little centaur. I’ll show you why no pony messes with me,” I said with a deep tone.
My pegasus wings have disappeared. The horn of a unicorn grew out of my head. Tirek was terrified over what’s about to happen. My right hoof had turned into a dagger. His hands started to glow. I got my magic ready to reverse his spell.
As I jumped to shut him out, his face looked like he was ready for it.
“Release them,” I yelled as I blasted my magic to his body.
Boom. All of the ponies were released from his spell. One by one there were ponies who appeared all around Equestria. Some of them have seen their families again. Many began cheering for our victory.
There was a filly that appeared a few feet from Soldier 99. She trotted toward her, then she removed her helmet. It turned out that it was Derpy who was behind the mask.
“Mama,” she said to her.
“I’m here. I’ll never ever leave you like this,” she said to her.
I was on the ground like I was seriously injured.
I opened my eyes and saw a blurred figure of the mayor.
She said, “Blaze?”
My eyes were shut after she said it. She called out to my friends to see if I was okay. I opened my eyes again to see Tirek taken away. I blinked them again to see Silverstream with tears.
“Let’s take him to the nearest hospital,” said Chance from my left ear.
Blazin Lights: (Episode 1) The Origin
Four hours later, I woke up in the Ponyville Hospital. There were two blurred figures in my field of vision.
One pony said with wonder, “Blaze? Honey. Wake up! Our son is alive!”
They came close to see me again.
“Mom? Dad?” I asked them.
As soon as my eyesight improved, I saw my family again for the first time in years.
“Blaze! Oh it’s so good to see you again. You’re now being called the next hero of Equestria. You saved our homes,” said Silver Sparks.
“We weren’t sure if you were coming back or not,” said Bonfire.
“Of course I was,” I responded to them, then I asked, “Did you know that I have metaphysical powers?”
“Yes,” the two of them had responded.
I saw a whiteboard that said, “Removal of supernatural powers.”
As soon as they tried to give me a hug, I said, “Wait a minute.”
“What’s wrong?” Silver Sparks had asked.
“Why are you getting rid of my powers,” I asked them.
“Equestria doesn’t want anypony to have powers. Tirek found another way to get himself powerful. It was that lab he went somewhere in North Carolina,” Bonfire had answered.
“He knew Mr. Nicholson?”
“Yes he did.”
“As soon as all of these are removed, you’ll be able to live like the rest of us. We wanted you to be our son again,” said Silver Sparks.
Bonfire had whispered into her ear, “Did you tell him that he’s signed up for the Wonderbolts?”
“Oh, right. The Wonderbolts Academy chose you to become a member!”
“How cool,” I said in an exciting manner.
“Spitfire,” she said, then stomped her hoof twice.
She came in with a suit and goggles. I can’t believe I’m about to meet her for the first time.
“Since you saved our planet, I’m making you our lead pony of the academy,” said Spitfire.
“Hold on a minute. I thought Rainbow Dash was the lead pony,” I said.
She gasped, then she said, “You passed the test! We were making sure if you were paying attention.”
“Congratulations Blaze,” said Bonfire.
“Thanks,” I responded.
Spitfire had set the suit and goggles on the side. She then left the room, while Silver Sparks called out for the next visitors. I was surprised to see seven ponies enter the room.
“Blaze. Meet the Mane Seven,” said Silver Sparks.
“Hi there,” said Twilight Sparkle.
“Hey,” I said.
“Howdy,” said Applejack.
“Brohoof,” Rainbow Dash had asked.
“Sure,” I said, then gave her a brohoof.
“Awesome,” she said with excitement.
The party cannon went off, and the room was a complete mess. I was covered in confetti.
“Pinkie,” said the six ponies.
“What? I’m just trying to cheer him up,” said Pinkie Pie.
“That’s too early to use the cannon,” said Rarity.
“Girls. Can’t you all talk about this later please,” I asked them.
“Well done Blaze. We know that you studied friendship,” said Twilight Sparkle
“Do you mind if I ask you this,” said Applejack.
“Sure. Go ahead,” I replied.
“How did you learn friendship in planet Earth?”
“The Young Six,” me and Twilight said.
“Wait what? You sent the Young Six down there?”
“She sent them down sixteen months ago,” said Fluttershy.
“I forgot. I’m sorry girls,” said Applejack.
I said this, “No need to apologize Applejack. We all forget sometimes.”
Rainbow Dash asked me this, “Would you like to know who sent you to Earth?”
“Yes please,” I said.
Twilight’s hoof was raised. I was shocked to hear the answer after all of this time.
“Really?” I asked her.
“No kidding,” said Rarity.
“Speaking of the Young Six, they’re out in the hallway,” said Starlight Glimmer.
“Would you like to see them?” Silver Sparks asked.
“Of course,” I replied with joy.
They went in there to see me again. Silverstream asked all of us to have a group hug. My friends then cried with joy. It made me feel good to be with my friends and family. We all celebrated my reunion with a slice of cake.
One week later, Nurse Redheart said to all of us that I was free to go. That meant I could live with my family in Cloudsdale. As soon as we got outside, there was a celebration upon my return.
All of the citizens of Equestria had said, “Welcome home Blaze!”
“Thanks everypony,” I said with pleasure.
Earth was just minutes before war. A human just came out of the portal at Nicholson’s lab.
“I can’t believe these ponies banished me here,” said Tirek.
Suddenly, the ground shook in a strong manner. He looked out of the window to see a mushroom cloud.
“No,” he yelled in the room.
Author's Note
Thanks for reading my story. This was done within a nine month period from April 2018 - January 2019. The reason why I had the names after the Young Six in parentheses is to say about which character is which. I originally wanted the story to take place in the Equestria Girls Universe, but after thinking about it for a while, I didn’t think it would be suitable for that kind of story.
