Author's Note

Now knowing that Chrysalis had nothing to do with the egg/pod that Celestia sent earlier in the week, the next destination is Tartarus.

Tartarus

After Twilight made her decision, everyone gathered their things and made their way to Tartarus. The travel took them two days. The Equestrian Forces have the key to opening the doors of Tartarus. As they entered inside, Starlight had unnerving feelings. She feels like part of her old self is somewhere lurking in the shadows. Twilight saw Cerberus approaching them. She asked to visit Tirek and Cozy Glow. Cerberus escorted everypony to Tirek and Cozy Glow.

"Hmm, visitors already. What have we done now?" Tirek said unamused.

"Have you plot anything since Cozy Glow friendship weapon failed recently?" Starlight asked.

"Nope." Cozy said as she waved at Spike.

"I have heard rumors of a mysterious egg showing up in Equestria but that's all I know." Tirek said.

"So, you do know about it?" Twilight asked.

"Yes. If you want this information, you'll have to do something for me." Tirek said grinning sinisterly.

"What do you want?" Twilight asked once more.

"Freeeedom."

"Not happening you snake." Starlight said.

"Well, then you will never get the info I possessed."

"What kind of freedom you want Tirek?" Spike said.

"Since I don't have magic to absorb and I have an annoying little pest here, I would like for you to move Cozy in a different place here in Tartarus."

It's clear to everyone that the two are planning something but for the time being, Tirek does have vital information. Now would be the best time to think ahead while being in Tartarus. Twilight nodded for Cerberus to pick up Cozy's cage and move it someplace else.

"Now that she's outta the way, please tell us what you know about the egg?" Twilight said as she grabbed her quill and paper to jot notes.

"The egg originated from an unknown species here in Equestria. It's been here for quite some time hiding in plain sight and watching over in secrecy. It can be a young baby draqonacuus that haven't hatch in a long long time. Those creatures did exist before a disaster came and wiped them off of the face of the planet."

"A young draqonacuus?" Twilight said reacting to a possibility of another monster that has no control.

"Yes. It is quite possible that some species survived for hundreds of years and remained undetected."

"Wow, why haven't I thought of it?"

"Because you are stupid to see for yourselves. Now that I have what I wanted and you have what you wanted, your time is up. Please, go away." Tirek said shooing away his visitors. Cerberus came back and escorted everypony out of Tartarus.

"A young draqonacuus." Starlight said.

"Possibly a Discord Jr." Spike said.

"Was that meant to be humorous, Spike?" Twilight said sternly.

"No, but...what would you name the young draqonacuus?" Spike asked.

"I don't know!" Twilight shouted.

"Exactly, until we know the young draqonacuus' name, he'll be Discord Jr."

"Fine. Let's go back home."

Twilight, Starlight, and Spike headed back home. What Tirek said is a strong possibility but can it also be a lie? Twilight commanded the Equestrian Forces to keep a keen eye on Tirek's doing in Tartarus. Giving Cerberus much needed help in case of a hostile takeover. A few hours later, Twilight, Starlight, and Spike embarked on a train heading back to Ponyville.

Morning arrived as the train pulled up at the station in Ponyville. Twilight and Starlight spent the night questioning and theorizing Tirek's information about the egg. Another draqonacuus among them? Wouldn't Discord discovered him by now? So many questions boggled in their minds as they walked back to the friendship castle. As they headed inside, Twilight remembered the mess they made the first time when the egg came.

"Spike!" Twilight shouted.

"Uh, Twilight? I'm right here." Spike said calmly.

"Can you please clean the mess up for me. I need a rest." Twilight said as she yawned a little.

"Can do, Twi." Spike said as he began to pick up the books that are on the floor.

Twilight and Starlight went to their bedrooms and go to sleep. Spike picked up as many books as he can. He flew back and forth carrying the books and reshelving them back in order. It took Spike an hour to clean up the mess. Only one book left to go. As soon as he picked it up, something attached to his claw and sinks beneath his scales. He freaked out as his veins from his scales are popping up. He flew around in agony as it reaches for his brain and took control of his mind. Despite all of the commotion, it didn't bother Twilight nor Starlight in their sleep. Spike dropped down on the floor and looked around.

"Soooo...much...knowledge...in this dragon. Soooo...many...memories. Very...interesting. I need to know...more..."

Spike looked around the library and began to read every book on the shelf. His eyes turned into static as he reads a book. The information is now being transmitted back to the collector as we speak. The collector smiled. Soon, he'll make himself known to every creature on the planet.
