Assassination. Twilight Sparkle never considered the possibility that it could ever happen to her. After all, it had never happened to any of the other princesses, never been attempted. However, Twilight's eyes are opened to the dangers of being royalty when a knife comes flying through the air at her during a dinner with Princess Celestia. Luckily, Shining Armour is quick to his hooves in the moment of danger, and he brings Twilight to safety to the relief of everypony in the castle. But they all made a major mistake: assuming the assassin worked alone.

As information comes in, the royal family learns that the castle has been bugged, magically sealed, and booby trapped, meaning there could be danger lurking around every corner. "I would appreciate if you did not talk about my sister like that, Twilight Sparkle." Twilight exchanged a wide-eyed glance with her brother before turning around slowly. Princess Celestia stood behind her, wings flared and eyes narrowed.

"Celestia, Twily here wasn't talking about our Princess Luna! She was talking about, uh... you!" Shining finished lamely, shrinking back at the monstrous glare Twilight was giving him. Celestia's eyes flickered with silent rage. She said nothing for some time, leaving the room in dead silence.

"Twilight Sparkle, you annoying stupid fat purple piece of horseshit, you are hereby stripped of your title of princess," Celestia said coldly.

"What kind of stupid joke is that?" asked Twilight, staring back at the princess. She had served the royal castle loyally for years now. There was no way Celestia would get rid of her now.

"I SAID SHUTUP YOU PURPLE CUNT! You will leave. Now. Take your shitty ass brother with you too. I will marry Cadance myself to rid the royal family of you trash." Celestia nodded to the door. Twilight opened her mouth to protest, but Shining put a hoof over her mouth and nodded.

"We understand, Celestia. You won't hear from us again," he said. He leaned in close to Twilight's ear, whispering "I'll tell you later" as they walked out the door, surrounded by guards on all sides. Before they left, Shining turned back briefly.
