Chapter 1 A blue unicorn walked nervously around the hall to the room next to him. It had been a few hours since nopony had let him know how his beloved felt. Night Light with a sweaty mane sat on a chair. He sat there for another few minutes, until he heard the door opening near him. It was a muscular scarlet dragon doctor. "Prince Light?" he smiled "I have goo-" "WHAT ABOUT MY CHILDREN? WHAT ABOUT MY WIFE? DID THEY SURVIVED?" blue unicorn released all his stress on doctor. "Calm down Prince ... Everything is alright with them" he replied with a smile on his face as if he did not care that just somepony shouted at him. Night Light with sad smile looked at the door "C-can I come in?" "Of course … Princess wants to see you too" The young father sighed and walked slowly into the room. "Ember! Is everything alright?" Night Light was terrified when he saw his beloved with her eyes closed. "Shhh … You need to be silent. You do not want to wake them up ... do you?" cyan dragoness slowly opened her tired eyes and snarled at him. Two small creatures slept near Princess Ember's belly, they were a hybrid between ponies and dragons. One was a small purple beautiful female dracony with a dark blue mane after daddy, dragon muzzle and eye color after mommy, however the other one was a little bigger white male dracony, who looked more like his father from the look, but he had dragon tail after his mother. "They are … beautiful" blue pony smiled wider, when he saw his offspring. "Just lie down next to me and STOP TALKING" dragon princess activated her grumpy personality. Night Light laid his head on his wife's back, and began to look around their bedroom. The armor of his wife was hung on the hanger, while their bloodstone scepter was suspended above their bed. After a moment, he thought about one thing. "How are they feeling?" blue pony finally asked. "Good … They fell asleep immediately after leaving my womb … " Ember said sarcastically, like she didn't wanted Night to be here. Night Light blushed and looked at the ceiling. They both heard crying. "Great … They are hungry" Ember hissed, and gave them two pieces of a green gem. Both foals began to eat them slowly. Their young organisms were still small, so they left large parts when they ate. Ember lightly stroked her children and blushed towards the blue pony. "You can choose names for them … If you want of course" she laid on her back, showing that she has a friendly attitude. "R-really" Night asked not believing his ears. "Do you really let the pony do it?" "You are not a stranger to me, so I can give you rights" she said jokingly. Night Light was still hesitating. "Do not be affraid. I won't bite" The blue pony looked closely at his offspring. "Which one is older?" "The white one" she pointed to a little white male dracony who was flying around the room."He is the heir to the throne" "Shining Armor" Night said firmly. " He will protect Dragon Lands from the threats of warring nations" he then looked at sleeping purple female dracony "Twilight Sparkle" "What about her?" cyan dragoness asked. "Ummm … Plan B?" he tapped his chin. "Fair enough" she commented. 9 YEARS LATER "Mommy, Mommy!" the purple filly tried to wake her mother, while jumping on the bed. "Play with me!" "Not right now Twily … M-momma is tired" Ember covered her head with a pillow. Twilight, not giving up, began to take off quilts from her parents' bed with her claws. "Twily … Please" Tired Night Light tried to speak to his daughter, but she ignored him. "Young Lady!" Ember said with her high voice "You are acting irresponsibly!" She still ignored them. "Play … with … ME!" purple dracony filly breathed with fire. "OK! You won! I will play with you!" Night quickly left the bed to calm her down. "YAY!" Twilight giggled "I need to tell Shiny about it!" She quickly ran into the bedroom she shared with him. "BBBFF!" Filly chirped happily. "What is it sis?" white colt asked. "Daddy wants to play with us!" she sang. "YAY!" dracony colt cheered. "I think I have a problem" Night Light smiled sheepishly. "Yup!" Ember smirked "You're taking care of them, while I will sleep, so you are having a problem" "LET'S PLAY THE TAG!" Twilight squealed happily. After a few hours of playing the tag, A blue unicorn, with fatigue in his eyes, lay in the middle of the room. "Twily … Shiny ... *breath* you're so fast" "Dad! What else can we play?" Shining asked with bored expression "Can we play some chess?" "Not now my children … I'm too … tired …" he breathed heavily, trying to get up. Ember came closer to her children and asked them. "Do you want to eat some yummy gems" "I think I'm hungry … Can I have some?" Shining's caught his belly, while it growled. "Yeah … I'm hungry too" Twilight's belly also growled, and went to eat something with her brother. "Go Ahead! Gems are in the kitchen" she smiled to them Night Light and Ember were left alone. "How did you come up with it?" Night Light asked with shocked expression on his muzzle. "That's very simple Night … When our children are "bored" it means they are hungry" she smiled "When you went to play with them, I left gems in the kitchen on the table for them" "I get it … Can I go to sleep? I'm very tired right now!" "I do not see any contraindications my prince" she laughed, after seeing his very tired eyes. "Ha ... Ha ... Very funny" Night laughed and with lidded eyes went to their bedroom to sleep on his very warm bed. Ember sighed and went into the kitchen. "MOMMY! Those gems are so delicious!" Shining ate them happily. "I know" cyan dragoness smiled " Especially I gave you your favorite kind" "Emeralds?" Twilight smiled and ate another one. "I would never forget your favourite kind is" "Thank you!" they both hugged her mother, making her cheeks blush.
Chapter 2View OnlineTwilight: Daughter of Pony and DragonessChapter 2"Wake up sleeping beauty" "Not right now Twily … I want to sleep now" Night Light answered, still having eyes closed. The blue unicorn dragon prince had a very hoarse voice, which made others understand that he was very tired. "But you fell asleep in the wrong place" Night opened his eyes slightly, and saw that instead of being covered by a quilt … he was lying under the bed, next to his children's toys, covered with boxes. Ember's beautiful red eyes were looking at him. Her smile showed her beautiful teeth, Her dragon muzzle would have won beauty contest. "I … ummm" blue unicorn tried to explain, causing a giggling from her side. "Do not worry" Ember blushed. "I also sometimes fall asleep in unusual places my prince" "It's nice" he also blushed. " They both approached each other until their eyes were at the same height. They both kissed, and their tongues met and fought for domination. It was a draw. They were both strong enough. The idyll, however, was interrupted by the Twilight whinings that came from their children's room. They both looked toward children's room. "What is it?" Night raised his eyebrow "Twilight never behaved like that" "I wanted to tell you about it. Twilight has a fever" she said rubbing her eyes. "Only Shining now went to school" "I understand" The blue pony slowly stood up and wanted to enter her room, but the cyan dragoness grabbed his right hind leg. "Do not even think about it" she said. "We need to buy medicine for her" "But who will take care of it until we are there?" he asked. "We can't leave her alone here!" "Don't worry … I know somescaly, who can take care of her" she smirked and looked into his confused eyes. "You mean … HIM!?" Night began to guess who she means. "So that's why you called me here? To take care of your brat?" Red dragon asked. His body shape was muscular. His eyes were covered in yellow, like his belly. His scales was orange. He had black bushy eyebrows. Two fangs protruded from his mouth. "Yes" Princess Ember replied knowing his tricks. "I know you do not like me, but you're the only dragon who can help me" "Bu-" red dragon tried to say something. "No buts Garble … You're acting like a child now!" cyan dragoness looked at him, having had enough of his behavior. "Fine … fine" Garble rolled his eyes. "Where is this dracony?" "I'll show you" she slowly stood up and gave him a signal to follow her. "Here" Ember pointed to the bed Twilight was sleeping on. Night Light was sitting next to her. "I see a beautiful look inherited from mommy" he smirked, and looked closer at purple dracony filly. Night Light looked at him with angry expression. He gritted his teeth with rage "Do not you dare to hurt her" "Calm down prince Neigh Leet … Do I look like I want to hurt her?" Garble shrugged. "I can expect everything after you … and my name is Night Light" he corrected red dragon. "Night we need to go" Ember then looked at red dragon "Remember… do not take your eyes off her" "Yes I Remember … I'm must act like a good guard" he saluted jokingly. Both parents rolled their eyes and left the room. Garble looked at the sleeping Twilight and walked over to see her closer. "You're beautiful dracony hatchling" After those words, he left the room to do something for her to eat and watch some television. "How can you trust him yet?" Night Light asked Ember, watching as other dragons bowed before tchem. "Do not be afraid. Garble likes children and does not pay attention to what race they are" she smiled to him. "If you say so" he sighed, feeling anxious. "Sorry for being such a nervous pony, but I really feel … weird? When I see this red dragon" "It's ok. You have your reasons" They both missed the primary school in which their son Shining Armor was learning. "I hope Shining is good today" Ember sighed, and ignored those thoughts "I also hope Shining has good grades" Night Light whispered into her hidden ear. "Shining is the most popular student in his school. I do not think he will be disliked" "Maybe you're right" he blinked. Shining Armor was sitting in his desk. After a moment two girls approached him. One had homework in her claws, and other one had some gems in her claws "Prince Armor? Do you want to eat my gems? I don't want to eat them anyway" female dragoness hatchling tried to give him to his claws. "N-no … Thanks I …" Shining Armor tried to say something. "Screw Gems! Do you want to borrow my homework? I don't care I will have minus today" another female hatchling said. "N-no ... I" "HE'S NEEDS GEMS! NOT A HOMEWORK!" "NO! HE NEEDS HOMEWORK! NOT GEMS!" "Ummm ... girls?" white dracony tried to calm them down. "HOMEWORK!" one female dragoness tried to protest. "GEMS!" another dragoness shouted. "CALM DOWN!" Shining shouted. Both hatchlings looked at him. "THAT'S HER FAULT!" they both shouted at eachother "I DON'T CARE WHO'S FAULT IS IT! STOP ACTING LIKE A TEENAGERS!" White dracony lost all his patience. "Teenagers? Eugh!" they said in unision. "They are disguisting" "I think I have a better idea … What about we share some books with eachother?" he smiled widely. Both dragonesses looked at eachother. "Deal?" he smirked, and raised his eyebrow. "DEAL!" they both crossed their arms and looked at the prince. "Can I share some my books with you girls and you Prince Armor?" burgundy male hatchling sat next to them. "I don't see any problems here buddy" Shining Armor smiled. He noticed that a large crowd of children gathered around him. They also showed interest in this. "What are you playing Prince?" "Can I borrow you my books?" "Huh?" Shining looked around with confused face. "What are you talking about?" "Umm … I sent some messages to others about your meeting" burgundy dragon smiled sheepishly.
Chapter 3View OnlineTwilight: Daughter of Pony and DragonessChapter 3Twilight slowly opened her eyes and groaned. She did not felt her head, feeling only weakness at the same time. The little purple dracony could only look at the ceiling. "MOM!? DAD!? BBBFF!?" she shouted. No answer. "MOM?" Twilight felt a small anxiety. "Where are you?" Still no answer. Purple dracony, despite her weakness and headache, took off her bedclothes, and her head from the pillow slowly, jumping out of her bed. According to her, something was wrong. She slowly opened the door to the corridor, where she always played with her big brother and her parents. She could have sworn that she had heard someone humming and that it was not a product of her imagination, and that voice did not belong either to her parents or her big brother. Twilight walked slowly to the door from which she heard it and slowly touched the handle, and after that really slowly opened them. A stray red dragon appeared to her eyes, standing with her back to her. He wore an apron. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" she screamed, tearing up her vocal cords. Garble, not expecting a shout, turned quickly. "Calm down little one, I'm not gonna hurt you" he said in a calm tone, trying not to frighten her. "WHO ARE YOU!?" her eyes widened, when red dragon came closer to scared purple dracony. "I am a friend of your parents. Your mother asked me to look after you, when they are in the shop" he smiled, accidentally showing his terrifying fangs. Twilight was still breathing heavily. "If you are a friend of my parents … " she coughed " … What are their names?" "It's very simple my child" he clenched his fist and put out his thumb "Your mother is Princess Ember right?" "Yeah" she nodded. He put out a second finger. "Your father is Prince Neigh Leet?" "It's Night Light" she corrected him. "Whatever" Garble rolled his eyes, and put out third finger. "Your brother is Prince Shining Armor?" "How did you know about my brother?" pink dracony raised her eyebrow. "Like I said, I'm your parents' friend" he smirked. Twilight bit her lips, doubting that Garble was lying. "So who am I?" she asked, hoping to break his tricks. "You're Princess Twilight Sparkle" he put out a fourth finger. Twilight did not believe her ears. That red dragon really was a friend of her family. She lay down on the kitchen floor with fatigue. Garble walked slowly to tired dracony, and gently touched her head with his left claw. "You should lie in bed and not walk around the house in this condition" he said a moment after massaging her forehead. Twilight's belly growled. "I'm feeling ..." she commented. "Hungry?" Garble continued her sentence, and smiled. "Y-yes" she nodded. "What are you cooking Mr. umm?" "Just call me Garble sweetheart" he fixed her mane, and continued cooking. "What are you cooking Mr. Garble?" she corrected herself. "That's a surprise" red dragon covered the oven. "You will find out, when you will relax in your bed" Garble slowly picked up Twilight, and went with her to her room. "Take a moment to sleep while I'm preparing breakfast for you, okay?" he covered her with a quilt. "You need to rest" "O-ok" Twilight replied shivering in the cold. After a while she fell asleep. Garble smiled at her and went back to making food. Some time later Twilight woke up the smell, which seemed to be very close to her muzzle. Twilight slowly opened her eyes, and saw in front of her a plate with gems soaked in chocolate, muffins with decorative emeralds, and a homemade candy bar. "Do you like this view?" Purple dracony filly jumped, when she heard red dragon's voice. She looked around, and saw him standing in the corner. "Y-yeah" Twilight nodded. "It looks tasty" "I've heard that hybrids of ponies and dragons can eat gems and their own type of food, I hope it will be tasty for you" he scratched his head. "I did not know you could cook so delicious Mr. Garble" Twilight complimented him. "Thank you little one" he smiled sheepishly, and looked behind. Twilight looked at the meal made by him. The breakfast looked so nice that it was a pity to touch it, or even eat it. "You can eat some of these" Garble stepped back for her, still wearing an apron. Twilight sighed, and with a hoof slowly ate one chocolate gem. Her pupils increased. Taste was amazing. Night Light and Ember continued to look through the shelves in the Pharmacy, looking for a medicine for their daughter, Although it was the best pharmacy at Dragon Lands, they had trouble finding the right syrup for the fever. "Have you already found any medicine Ember?" blue unicorn asked cyan dragoness. "Nope" Ember answered. "There is too much medicine here" "Why is this pharmacy a cave?" he asked. "We are building every houses in caves" cyan dragoness hissed. "Aww … I forgot" he blushed. "I want to play with Prince Armor" female dragoness pulled Shining's mane. "NO! I want to play with Prince Armor" another female hatchling shouted. "Ummm ... girls?" burgundy dragon child raised his eyebrow. "You forgot the whole our class is playing with our Prince" Both hatchlings stopped fighting. "I'm sorry" they said in unision. "We forgot" "So you can let me go?" white male dracony colt asked. Both girls released his limbs, causing him to fall. Both his face, and his stomach met the floor. "Ouch" Shining groaned. "Sorry, we didn't meant to" both female dragon hatchlings panicked. "Don't worry, nothing bad happened" he blushed, as he walked slowly out of the room to the bathroom in the front. "I hope he is gonna to be fine" burgundy male dragon child commented. "Don't worry, he is gonna to be fine" black male dragon child laughed. "He has great success with girls" he looked at other female dragon children, who blushed like after eating tomato soup. "Do you have a problem with that?" Most clever dragoness asked. "Nope … It just seems so to you" he shrugged. "We all have disadvantages … Even me"

Flashback Chapter 2View OnlineTwilight: Daughter of Pony and DragonessFlashback Chapter 2The door from the carriage opened from both sides. When Night Light heard this, he quickly jumped into the chair, covered himself with a blanket and quickly closed his eyes to pretend to be asleep. Silence broke the steps sound toward him. "Hey little one, it's time to wake up" Masticate lightly shook the colt. to wake him up, but he only heard snoring from his side. Night Light did not pretend this time. He really slept. "I'm guessing it was a tiring day for you" black dragon smiled, as he lifted the blue young pony. Masticate also wrapped Night Light in a blanket like a foal so he would not get cold. The black dragon laid him on his back and began to traverse the nation with him. Other dragons could not resist the charming appearance of a small pony, watching him. Masticate stopped in front of a gigantic cave. "I hope Dragon Lord Torch will like him" he said to himself. Dragon Lord Torch sat on his throne, waiting for a small pony about which his subjects praised. His appearance was muscled. He had red eyes. Two twisted horns protruded from his head. He had gray skin and a crown made of long red gems. Torch also wore dark armor. The door to his throne room opened under Masticate's pressure. The black dragon approached his master and bowed to him. "Sorry for the momentary delay, my lord, but I came across other carriages" "Show me this little creature" Dragon Lord Torch ordered. Masticate sighed and showed the blue colt for him. Torch slowly took Night Light with his claws and began to look at him from both sides. The gray dragon also removed the blanket he was covered with. "Quite charming, but … " Torch touched gently Night Light's mane, which was dirty in the mud. "He must be washed" "I will wash hi-" Masticate tried to take Night Light, but Torch took the colt from his eyes. "Do not even think about it Cate" Torch hissed. "I will wash him, while you look after my daughter" Black dragon sighed. "Ok … my lord …" In the bathroom, the gray dragon slowly turned the faucet over the bathtub slowly adjusting the water temperature. and he put down the blue colt to the bathtub. Through the heat that came from under him, Night woke up. Surprise came over him. He saw the white wall of the bathtub in front of him, But when he looked up, he was shocked. At the top he saw a gray dragon. His red eyes just stared at him. "You finally woke up" he smiled showing his terrifying teeth. "Relax and play with some toys" Torch took one rubber duck from the cupboard and a small plastic sword. When he put all these things in the tub, Night Light noticed that the warm water was touching his neck. Torch slowly took the shampoo and poured a little on the sponge. After all this, he began to wash the colt's head slowly. Night Light, thinking that the dragon was trying to hurt him, tried to break free. "Calm down" he said in his untypical calm tone, still washing his mane. "You must be clean if you want to meet my daughter" Night's eyes widened. He … He ... He was a Dragon Lord. "I .. I'm sorry" blue colt whispered. "Shhh … it's okay" Torch caressed his chin, eyeing him. Torch saw his confused eyes. "After your face, I think you're here for the first time" "Y-yeah" the blue colt answered, "I'm from Canterlot" "I know" Dragon Lord tapped his chin. "My subject has talked a lot about you" Torch lifted colt's hoof, and began to clean his armpit. "Masticate?" the colt asked. Dragon Lord nodded. "I had to move here because my parents … my parents …" his eyes began to watering. "Your parents … have financial problems?" he asked, while cleaning colt's back. Night Light burst into tears, and did not say anything. Although he never showed it. Torch felt sorry. Even if he really hated ponies, he knew how then most of them had a hard time sending their children to his country. "Please d-don't cry" Torch tried to cheer him up. " … Otherwise you get dehydrated" "G-good one" the blue foal despite tears in his eyes, understood the joke. The gray dragon gently wiped them from his eyes. "I think bathtime is finished" he commented, and slowly he took out the young pony from the bathtub. "Please … be gentle" the blue colt said, fearing big dragon's claws. Dragon Lord just smiled, and put him on some type of sheet. "You will not complain" dragon said with a towel in both claws. Dragon Lord Torch began to wipe his stomach using it, inadvertently causing groans of pain from his side. "Something is wrong?" Dragon Lord Torch asked and raised his eyebrow. "It's nothing" he lied, feeling a little pain in his chest. "Good" Torch turned Night Light on the other side, as he also began to wipe. The gray dragon was slowly carrying a small colt wrapped in a towel. His mane was wet, but very clean, and a pleasant scent came out from his coat. It was the first time that Night Light could afford a bath. The little pony felt also sore after cleaning with towel, by such a strong dragon. "W-where are we going?" Night Light finally asked. "I think you're ready to get to know her" Torch looked at colt wrapped in towel. "Who?" he raised his eyebrow, but he remembered who he meant. "Aww … her …" "My daughter likes ponies, so I think you'll get along" he giggled. Night Light sighed. "I think you're right … Dragon Lord Torch ... " he whispered. "Don't call me Dragon Lord" he smiled. "Just call me Torch" "Hey Masticate!" cyan dragoness hatchling "DON'T MOVE!" Ember slowly drew her bow to hit an apple on black dragon's head. Masticate was so afraid that he closed his eyes. "Princess? Can we play something … different?" black dragon asked, still shaking. Ember began to concentrate more to hit the apple with the arrow. When she quickly let go of the bow, she closed her eyes too. After a moment she opened them. The apple was whole without any destruction. "Awww … C'mon!" she said in irritated tone. "Daughter?" Torch appeared behind her. "Dad? Masticate fell asleep, when I missed apple. I don't know where is my arrow!" cyan dragoness hugged her father. Ember raised her eyebrow, when she saw somepony laying on her father's back "Who is that?"

Flashback Chapter 3 Some weeks later Night Light has slowly begun to adapt to a place where not everything is nice. The teachers at the school where he started to study were actually very nice to him. He also had good grades. However, not everyscaly liked it. "Hey mop head!" The red dragon hatchling and his gang, approached a small blue colt. Night Light didn't wanted to talk with them, so he was just looking in his locker and ignoring a group of little dragons near him. "Stop ignoring me, when i'm talking to you!" the red dragon indignantly closed his locker before Night's eyes. "What do you want from me Garble?" the blue colt raised his eyebrow. Garble smirked. "Give me your lunch money!" "We've talked about it many times. NO!" the blue colt protested. Garble in anger lifted Night by the neck, as his gang cheered on him. Other students avoided them with a wide arc. "Even if these high numbers on your tests make you unique? THINK YOU ARE BETTER THAN US?" "HEY!" cyan dragoness hatchling appeared next to him. "LEAVE HIM ALONE!" "Who are you at all to tell us to do?" the red dragon stared at cyan dragoness. "Let's say ... that this whole school belongs to my father …" Ember smirked. Garble's horrified eyes expressed everything, slowly putting Night on the ground. "This is a princess! RUN!" he shouted to his group. After a moment, he looked at Night, holding on to the neck. "I have not finished with you yet" the red dragon murmured, before disappearing into the crowd of other dragon children. Ember laughed, but she looked at Night. "Are you alright?" she asked lightly, worrying about his neck, but the blue colt just smiled. "It's okay ... Don't worry!" "But you have an entire red neck … Are you sure?" cyan dragoness child asked again. "I'm not 6 years old … I'm 10!" he still protested. "Bu-" Ember tried, to help him get up, but he still smiled. "No buts! I'm fine!" The sounding bell made it known that this was the end of the lesson. "It's time to go home" Night Light smiled at Ember, still holding his neck with a hoof. Night Light and Ember began to get along with each other since they first met. Together, they started to play in the same sandbox, they had the same taste for movies, and they both liked to fish in a river. Torch, as usual, sat on his throne, looking for when Night Light and Ember would return. As always, the door to his throne room was opened by the guards, because his children were too weak to open them. "Daddy!" the cyan dragoness squealed happily, when she saw her father. She hurried to Torch to hug him. "It's good to see you too" Dragon Lord Torch gave back her hug. Ember's smile disappeared, when she saw Night Light staring on the ground. She looked back at her father. "Dad?" she asked. "Something is wrong sweetie?" the gray dragon asked when he saw the sadness in his daughter's eyes. "Night Light is not appreciated at school" the cyan dragoness child looked into his red eyes. "Can you take care of him today?" "Of course sweetie" Torch smiled. "Go to the dining room, there are gems waiting for you that Masticate has prepared" "Thanks" Ember hugged her father's claw. "No problem" the gray dragon smiled. When cyan dragoness disappeared behind dining room door, Dragon Lord looked at the blue colt. "Follow me" he gave him a claw sign to follow. "O-ok" Night Light nodded. Torch and Night Light began to traverse several long corridors until they came across some doors. When Night for the first time crossed the threshold of this room, he froze. There were quite a lot of huge portraits on the walls, but the gray dragon came up to one covered with a sheet. "Who are all these dragons Drago - I mean Torch?" the blue colt was still looking at them. "Those are Dragons, who had the chance to put their claws on the throne of Dragon Lands" "You mean previous Dragon Lords, sir?" Night Light raised his eyebrow. "Exactly" the gray dragon nodded. "Its meat my dear guests" the Griffon waiter answered. "What's meat?" they both asked, still feeling disgusted "It's delicious why don't you give it a shot" They both began to eat it slowly. The steak quite good, but it had a very strange consistency. "It was good" Shining said, licking his lips. "Yeah really good" Twilight continued. "I knew you enjoy it just be sure to have adult prepare it properly" the Griffon waiter giggled. "WHAT!?" the cyan dragoness shouted, not believing what she had just heard from her father.
