Chapter 4: Dinner
Previous ChapterNext ChapterPinkie and Sunset frowned it was late at night and they had nowhere to stay or eat, Bulma walked over “What’s wrong girls?”
Pinkie sighed “We have nowhere to stay?”
Bulma shook her head “Don’t worry about it, you two can stay here?’
Sunset blinked “You sure?”
Bulma laughed “Your friend saved the world and salvaged my birthday party I’m more than happy to give you two lodging. I’ll even give you some money to go and get dinner” she gave them a large bag of Zeni “Now I have couple of old dresses I never got to wear that would suit the two of you.”
Ten minutes later, Pinkie and Sunset walked through the streets, Sunset was wearing a nice dark blue dress while Pinkie was wearing a bright orange dress, the moon shining like a beacon in the sky. Pinkie growled “I don’t get it why can’t I calm my aura.”
Sunset frowned “I believe Whis is going about I wrong, I saw how you energy reacted to trying to calm it down it flared out, your power is naturally chaotic and trying to bring in into an ordered state is a fallacy in itself.”
Pinkie Pie nodded “That does make sense, reality and I have a strange relationship.”
They saw what appeared to be a Italian restaurant, although they were unsure as this was not the Earth they were familiar with. The two entered the restaurant, a tall man wearing a suit smiled “We’re not that busy tonight were do you wish to sit?”
Pinkie nodded “We would like to have seat where we get the perfect view of the moon.”
The man smiled “Come this way follow me.”
Sunset raised an eyebrow “Why are you taking me out the back here? This is what you do for a romantic evening isn’t it?”
Pinkie blushed “Oh um I didn’t think I’m sorry, I just wanted to spend some time with a friend in the moonlight.”
Sunset smiled and turned around “Don’t worry about it, I was just joking. Let’s take our seat.” What Sunset had said however stuck in Pinkie’s mind, she looked over Sunset as she followed her. Sunset’s arms while not the most muscular had decent definition unlike her who did very little in the way of physical activity, her bottom was toned from exercise.
Pinkie was glowing like a tomato by the time they sat down. Sunset blinked “What happened, why are you blushing?”
Pinkie blush deepened “I was checking you out, you are quite sexy actually.”
Sunset blushed “You’re not too bad yourself, you have a nice round rump, your breasts are is bigger than mine. That’s not even mentioning how supportive you’ve been over me the last few months.”
The pair were blushing like tomatoes when a waiter walked over “May inquire about your orders?”
Sunset asked “Can we get a spaghetti to share, as well as a lemonade please?” She then asked Pinkie “What do you want to drink?”
Pinkie smiled “I want a squash please?” The waiter nodded as he had written down their order and left them alone, Pinkie frowned “Why Spaghetti for the two of us?”
Sunset grinned wickedly “You’ll see, it will ruin it if I tell you.”
Pinkie raised an eyebrow “Alright” she then smiled “Have any boys caught your interest lately?’
Sunset frowned “A little secret, remember how I didn’t get that involved with Flash and used him?” Pinkie nodded with a frown unsure of where her friend was going with this, Sunset sighed “It was because I had started to notice not long afterwards that not just him but boys in general didn’t interest me, I noticed a few girls though and after a while I realised I batted for the other team so to speak.”
Pinkie gave Sunset a hug “It’s fine if you like girls, my door swings both ways love is love”
Sunset blushed at the closeness of her friend “Thanks Pinks.”
The waiter returned with a smile “Here’s your Spaghetti and drinks.”
Sunset and Pinkie ended the hug, they smiled as the waiter placed their drinks on either side of the table while leaving the large plate of pasta with forks on either side. Pinkie and Sunset quieted down as they began to eat. Slowly the past began to evaporate, Pinkie blushed as their faces met on the last bit of pasta.
Sunset smiled her lips meeting her friends, Pinkie melted into the kiss. The moonlight reflected off their dresses causing them to glow. Sunset pulled back slowly, Pinkie’s spoke as she tried to regain her breath “Wow that was … amazing.”
Sunset blushed “I just wanted to kiss you, your pretty and I didn’t want to make it to awkward. You have been so kind to me and your sexy and…”
Pinkie smiled “It’s okay and I pretty confident neither of us is head over heels in love with the other at least, not yet but we both have lust for the other so that’s where we’ll start.” The pair enjoyed the rest of the night before heading back to Capsule Corp for the night.
