Chapter 5: Truth
Previous ChapterNext ChapterPinkie and Sunset both wearing singlets and shorts, had just finished their training for the day, Sunset groaned “Whis is certainly tough?” She screamed as a drip of sweat flowed over her chest which caused green lightning to start sparking all over her body.
Pinkie grabbed her “Sunset, what’s wrong?”
Sunset groaned as the lightning dissipated, she took off her singlet. Pinkie gasped as a large scar coursing with green energy was in the middle of her breasts. Sunset put her singlet back on and sighed “I was born with that scar, Celestia told me she had no idea why I had it, only that two other ponies had something similar, one was Princess Platinum, and the other was Bluebelle the First.”
Pinkie smiled “Thanks for sharing, Sunset just promise me that no matter what happens you will tell me the truth. We started something last night sand if we want to work we will not hide anything from the other anymore.”
Sunset smiled “I promise that I will never hide anything from you again, I cross my heart, hope to fly, stick a cupcake in my eye.”
Pinkie grinned before pressing her lips on the lips of one of her closest friends, she felt her breath quickening. She slowly poked at her friend lips with her tongue, soon the passage opened allowing their tongues to slowly dance around each other, Sunset blushed as as they pulled back “Wow… that was something.”
Pinkie rubbed the back of her head with an awkward smile “Did I move to fast.”
Sunset shook her head “No it was good really good, just it was unexpected.”
Pinkie smiled “Yeah well I am like that sometimes.”
Sunset laughed as she wrapped an arm around Pinkie “I wouldn’t have it any other way.”
The heard a cough only to see Bulma grinning at them “Enjoying each other are you?” Pinkie and Sunset’s face glowed a bright red, Bulma smiled “There is a fair in town, I was wondering if you two would like to go?”
Sunset smiled sheepishly “Uh sure we want to go, right Pinks?”
Pinkie bounced “Of course we do Sunny, I love fairs.”
Bulma smiled as she put two tickets in Pinkie’s hands “Have fun you two love birds.”
The two blushed as they exited the building, they arrived outside a giant fairground, a circus tent was set up as well as several different game stands. Pinkie grinned “Come on Sunset, let’s win some prizes.”
Sunset rolled her eyes with a smile as Pinkie dragged her over to a stand. Pinkie grinned as there were several targets standing up against a board, Pinkie smiled at the owner of the shop “Can I play, can I play.”
A tall, buff man grinned “Sure, if you can knock down the target s at the top with on of these golden balls, you get this unicorn!”
Sunset frowned “Are you sure about this?!”
Pinkie grinned “Don’t worry I got this.” She placed a few Zeni on the table and got three golden balls.
The man running it hid behind the curtain and presses a button magnetising the target. Pinkie threw a ball at it and it bounced off. Pinkie growled as she threw the second ball harder, the target at the back shook but didn’t fall, Pinkie roared as she third ball “No holding back!”
Before Sunset could say anything Pinkie threw the ball, the man heard an explosion as he ran out to see the target had disintegrated as well as a good portion of the wall. Pinkie smiled as she grabbed the white unicorn with an aurora mane and gave it to Sunset “Here Sunset for you.”
Sunset smiled as she looked over it and gave Pinkie a peck on the cheek “Thank you Pinkie, you are a really good friend.”
Pinkie smiled “Yes.” she then pointed exictedly “ooh there’s a cotton stand over there, do you want some?”
Sunset grinned “Of course, Pinkie Pie let’s go.” The two had a giant pieces of cotton candy, Sunset sighed as she looked at the unicorn “This reminds of Princess Celestia just without the wings, she was the closest thing I had to a mother and I tossed it all away for some delusions of grandeur.”
Sunset began to cry, Pinkie gave her a warm hug “Sunset we all make mistakes. Remember how I broke that kid’s leg, well that kid will never walk again. I destroyed that kids life, they were one the sportiest kids at school and they will never be able to do any of it again.”
Pinkie sighed “I have made many mistakes, yes you may have had delusions of grandeur but you don’t anymore and that’s what matters.”
Sunset dried her tears “Thanks Pinkie Pie, this whole dating thing is confusing but I’m glad to be doing it with you even if we aren’t to the really romantic stuff yet.” The two happily enjoyed their cotton candy and went to enjoy the rest of their day at the fair.
