In an alternate equestria. Marcus is a traveling changeling with a troubled past who finds himself in what's only referred to as southern equestria, a much more dangerous and volatile land filled with bandits, raiders and other species more than willing to take you for everything you're worth. After making a companion out of an armored war dog and starting a few fights, Marcus and his new friend set off on a quest to settle new found debts and most importantly make a fair bit of coin on the way, but southern equestria has it's cruel ways of derailing things.
