“Celesto!”

Grand Ruler Celesto opened his eyes and saw his wife, Queen Celestia staring at him with a worried expression that turned to relief. “Celestia?”

“Oh, thank goodness, you’re awake.” Celestia helped him sit up as he rubbed his head. “Are you alright?”

“I.. think so. All I remember was being in the Professor’s Lab….” Celesto started.

Flashback

Their majesties were in the Professor’s Lab helping him clean up. Keeping his lab clean was a major necessity so nothing would accidentally become contaminated or somebody wouldn’t accidentally slip on something poisonous or etc.

“I want to thank you again for helping me clean up.” Brain praised.

“It’s no problem.” Celestia stated.

“Indeed.” Celesto added. Celestia was sweeping while Celesto was mopping the floors. Celesia accidentally bumped into a shelf and a purple liquid in a beaker was shaking and it almost feel if Brian hadn’t caught it with his magic. “Phew, that was close.” he said. “Glad this didn’t spill.”

“Professor, I’ve been meaning to ask you about that potion. What is it exactly?” Grand Ruler asked.

“This is my Alternate Dimension Potion.”

“Alternate Dimension Potion?” their majesties said in unison.

“Yes, it’s a potion that can send you to an alternate dimension.” Brain explained.

“What kind of alternate dimension?” Celestia asked.

“That’s unknown; all I know is it dangerous.” Brain said as he put it back on the shelf. “Now, if you excuse me, I’m going to go check on the lab boys.”

Brain left the room, while their majesties continued cleaning the room. Suddenly, the potion on the wall began rocking back and forth until it fell on the floor and the beaker shattered, startling their majesties. “How did that potion fall off the shelf?” Celestia questioned.

“I don’t know.” Celesto said.

The puddle of purple liquid began to glow and a large swirling vortex appeared before their majesties. Celestia felt herself begin pulled towards the portal. “Celesto! It’s… pulling me in!”

“Celestia!” He ran and grabbed his wife by the arms and tried to pull her out of the portal. “I’ve… got you darling!” But the portal began pulling him as well. He tried to pull himself and his wife out but the portal was too strong and it pulled them both in and the vortex closed up, leaving nothing behind. Not even the broken beaker.

That’s when Brain walked back into the room. “Your majesties, I’m back!” He called but he saw nothing in the lab. “Ummm… your majesties?”

Their majesties held each other while the traveled through the portal until everything went black.

Flashback End

Their majesties looked around and saw they were in a large forest. The trees were thick as well as the vegetation. “So where are we?” Celesto asked.

“I don’t know, dear.” Celestia helped him to his feet. “Maybe we should find a town?”

“Yeah… that could be a start.” her husband agreed. Their majesties held each others hands as they walked through the forest. Soon, the forest began to faded out and they found themselves on a path. They walked on the path until it lead them into..

“New Ponyville?” The duo walked into town and a hostile feeling came over them. As they walked through they saw the devastating state the town was in; buildings were reduced to ruins, and the ones that were still standing were boarded up, numerous holes in the ground, as well as the same green substance and there was no sign of ponies anywhere. It was almost like a ghost town! “This place looks deserted.” Celestia said.

“Indeed. What in the universe happened?” Celesto replied. Walking through the abandoned town, the two tried to see if was anything that would conclude someone still living here. Sadly, there was nothing but green slime, destroyed buildings and holes in the ground.

The two came to familiar building. “New Sugarcube Corner?”

The building looked like it was condemned by the wood boarding up the windows. Celestia turned to her husband, “Should we go in?”

“Well… it may have some clues.” Their majesties slowly approached the building and Celesto gently pushes the door open.

Creek

Inside, the store was covered in dust and dark. Cobwebs hung from the corners and the floor had patches of dirt. “Looks like no one's been in here for a while.” Celestia commented.

“Indeed.” The two of them went upstairs to Pinkie’s room and found no sign of her or the Cake’s. The room had dust and cobwebs, almost it hasn’t been touched in years, just like the rest of the shop. They went back downstairs, “This is so unsettling.” Celestia said.

“Indeed.” The two of them walked outside and scanned the area. “So… what do we do now?”

“You surrender or else!” a voice demanded. Their majesties turned and saw a familiar incest pony queen surrounded by her minions.

“Chrysalis?!” they gasped.

The changeling queen laughed as her army of changelings surrounded their majesties. They looked different than the changeling and queen from their world. The changeling minions were wearing green armor on their necks, faces and horns. As well as their queen who also had a staff with green crystals at the top.

The two royal stood back to back. Then, ponies started appearing; Pegasi, Unicorns, Earth Ponies and Space Alicorns as well, but their eyes were glowing green, meaning they were under her control! “Now, I thought I already captured you both when Me, Sombra and Nightmare Moon took over United Equestria, but it seems I was wrong, so I have no choice but to capture you both again.” she chuckled.

Their majesties were horrified at what they just heard. Nightmare Moon, King Sombra and Queen Chrysalis were all ruling their kingdom!

“Get them, my minions!” she ordered the changelings and ponies lunged at all of them, but at the last second, they teleported away and ran away. “After them, don’t let the escape!” Chrysalis ordered. The minions obeyed and chased after them. “Ugh.. darling what so we do?” Celestia asked.

“Back into the forest, quickly!” The two of the burst out of the town and dashed into the forest, swerving between trees. The minions stopped at the entrance having lost sight of them in the thick vegetation. Chrysalis fluttered by their side. “Those two can’t hide in there forever. I’ll find them and bring them to the dungeons of New Canterlot if it’s the last thing I do.” she laughed evilly.

Meanwhile, their majesties stopped running and caught their breath against some trees. “That… was close.” Celestia painted.

“Agreed.” Celesto added. “And I think the Professor’s alternate dimension potion worked.”

“Yeah, Chrysalis, Nightmare Moon and King Sombra ruling United Equestria. And they want to capture us.”

“We have to get back to our dimension.”

“But how?”

Celesto sighed, “That’s the question.”

Suddenly, the two of them heard rustling in the bushes. They quickly stood up and looked around. “Hello?.... Is anyone there?” Celestia called out.

Just then, the two of them were pounced on, tied up, had antimagic manacles on their horns and were surrounded by more ponies pointing spears at them, but these ponies were wearing some kind of green saliva on their bodies and four of the ponies were recognized by their majesties. “Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, Starla Shine, Buddy Rose?”

“Silence.” Pinkie demanded. “Changelings.”

“All servants of Queen Chrysalis, Nightmare Moon and King Sombra found in these woods must be.. Destroyed!” Fluttershy stated. Their majesties gulped nervously.
