My Brave Pony Alternate Adventures

The gang walked on and soon found themselves on a coast line and a large body of water. “The Ocean! We made it!” Celestia cried with joy.

“Now we have to cross it.” Celestia said. “And watch out for the King of the Waves.” She looked around the coastline for anything buoyant enough to carry them all across the ocean. “But I don’t see anything that can sail us across.”

Grand Ruler had an idea. “Hold on.” Concentrating hard, he used his magic and appeared a yacht for all three of them.

“Excellent work, darling.” Celestia added. Grand Ruler breathed heavily. “You’re welcome. So shall we go?”

Soon the two of them and their dragons were off on the yacht. Dusk and Dawn were flying above the yacht Celestia were near the front of the boat while Celesto was steering the yacht. Dusk and Dawn never saw anything so beautiful in their life. Dolphins were leaping out of the water and seagulls were flying overhead. “This is so cool.” she claimed, excitedly.

Her husband chuckled. “I’m glad you like it.” Just then, Dusk and Dawn roared in concern and landed on the deck of the yacht. "Boys, what is it?"

CRASH! BOOM!

Just then, lightning crashed overhead and rain began pouring down. The waters got rough and choppy. Celestia struggled up to where her husband was, “Celesto, what’s going on?” Celestia asked.

“I don’t know, this storm came out of nowhere.” he struggled to keep the yacht straight as the waters got rougher from the storm. “Ummm.... darling.” Celestia whimpered Celesto looked and saw some really big waves heading their way! “Oh dear.” Celestia whimpered.

“Hang on!” Celesto called. Dusk and Dawn rushed below deck and into the room while Celestia grabbed onto her husband. The boat was rocked by the waves, being carried up and down by them. “WOAH, WOAH, WOAH.” the two of them cried as they went over the waves. Grand Ruler was struggling to keep the yacht steady. “Ugh… it’ll be okay.” he called.

“Where did this storm even come from?” Celestia cried.

Just then, the three of them heard a loud, booming voice.

“WHO DARES ENTER MY OCEAN?”

Their majesties froze at the sound of the voice. “Is that who I think it is?" Celestia whimpered. Then a large figure appeared out of the water. It was a large seapony about fifty feet tall. His coat was transparent blue with a transparent mane. “The King of Waves.” the couple whispered in awe.

He didn’t look a happy to see them.

“WHO DARES ENTER MY OCEAN?”

“We’re sorry to intrude on your territory, King of Waves, but we need to get across your ocean.” Grand Ruler called up to the large seapony.

“AND WHY SHOULD I LET YOU THREE CROSS MY OCEAN?”

“We have to restore peace to this land.” Celestia added. “Please let us pass.”

The King still look hostile toward their majesties.

“I”LL LET YOU PASS, IF YOU CAN PASS MY TEST.”

“Wh-What test?” Celestia quivered.

“YOU HAVE TO GET PASS THREE OBSTACLES OF MY STORM. IF YOU DO THEN I WILL LET YOU PASS.”

Their majesties looked at each other and back at the King of Waves. “We’ll do it.” they said in unison.

The King smirked. “They won’t make it pass the first obstacle.”

“VERY WELL THEN. YOUR TEST BEGINS NOW.”

With that, he turned into water again and Celesto started the engine and moved the yacht forward. “Wonder what the first obstacle is.” Celestia wondered.

“ROCKS!” Celesto cried in fear. The yacht was heading right for some sharp pointy rocks! “Hold on.” Celesto called as he steered the boat through the rough and wavy waters. Celestia held on to her husband. When Celesto steered around the last rock, the two sighed in relief. “One down, two more to go.” Celestia gulped. The trio heard a loud, rumbling sound. “What is that?” Celestia asked. “WHIRLPOOL!” Celesto cried. The two looked ahead and saw a large rotating vortex of fluid.

Celesto gasped and held the steering wheel tightly. “Hang on to something!”

Celestia grabbed the first thing they could find… which was Celesto.

The yacht was sucked into the whirlpool. Celestia held onto Celesto while he held the steering wheel.Their feet left the ground leaving them hanging on to whatever they were holding on to. “We’ve gotta get out of here!” Celestia yelled.

“I’ve got to give her full power!” Celesto called. He struggled to reach for the stick shift to give the engine full power, but the force of the spinning was making it difficult. Celestia struggled to hold on, but she was starting to lose her grip!

"Hurry darling, I can't hold on much longer!" Celestia cried. The two ladies did not want to get thrown into the ocean. Finally, Celesto gripped the stick shift. "GOT IT!" He gave the engine full throttle and the yacht burst out of the whirlpool and into the air. “YAAAAHHHHH!!!!” the two cried.

SPLASH!

The yacht splashed hard into the ocean again and the two crashed onto the yacht floor. Their majesties got up, “Are you okay?” Celesto asked. His wife was a little dazed and dizzy from all the spinning but overall she was okay.

“Yeah, I'm okay, dear.” Celestia replied. “I’m just glad to be out of that whirlpool.”

“Now only one more test to go.” Celesto added. Dusk and Dawn came out this time as Celesto sailed the yacht for a few more yards when another figure burst from the water. It was dragon made entirely out of water! It was spines he along it’s back and it was thirty feet long and a wingspan of thirty feet. "You've gotta be kidding!" Celesto whimpered.

“A water dragon?!” Celestia cried.

“And it doesn’t look happy.” Celesto added. The dragon roared at the trio and blasted a high pressure water attack from it's mouth at the boat, pushing it back. “WOAH!” they cried. The boat steadied out. "Looks like we have no choice.” Celesto blasted the dragon with his magic, making it roar in pain and Celestia did the same thing. The dragon growled angrily and blasted another water attack. Their majesties created a barrier, deflecting the attack back at the dragon. The dragons roared in pain and created a large water spout. He sent it towards the yacht. "WATCH OUT!"

The water spout lifted the yacht into the air. "WAAAHHHHHH!!!" the two cried. The water spout suddenly stopped and the yacht dropped into the water. They were dizzy and dazed from that attack. Their majesties got to their feet.

The dragon roared at them. Dusk and Dawn fired their attack at the water dragon, but it went right through since water beats fire. "How are we gonna beat it?" Celestia asked.

“I know.” Celesto aimed his horn at the dragon and unleashed his “TENFOLD UNIFORCE!” the attack consumed the dragon, completely vaporizing the dragon. “Phew, that was way too close.” Celestia sighed.

That's when the King of Waves appeared again.

“EXCELLENT WORK, YOU THREE HAVE PASSED MY TEST. YOU THREE MAY PASS AND CONTINUE ON YOUR QUEST.”

The two smiled. “Thank you.” they said in unison.

The King turned into water again and Celesto drove the yacht for a few miles. Hours later, night had fallen and Celesto yawned. Celestia came up to him. "Darling, come to bed, please."

"I can't darling, I have to... keep... watch." he almost fell over if his wife hadn't caught him. "Darling, you're exhausted. You need to rest. Please do, for me." Celesto, now realizing how tired he was and how he knew better than to argue with his wife, complied. "Alright, let's go to bed." Celestia smiled at him and the couple went below deck to the sleeping area. Dusk and Dawn were already sleeping soundly on one of the beds. They were like their majesties beds back home. Their majesties climbed into the second bed "Do you think we'll get home after this, darling?" Celestia asked.

Celesto turned to his wife and smile at her. "I'm not so sure dear. We just have o hope." Celestia grinned at her husband. "Now come, let get some rest." His wife agreed and closed her eyes. "Goodnight, my love." Celestia said. "Goodnight, darling." Celesto added. And their majesties fell into a peaceful slumber.
