My Brave Pony Alternate Adventures

Their majesties dismounted Dusk and Dawn and looked at the town in the distance. “... Well then, let’s get moving.” Celesto said.

“Wait… are you sure?” Celestia asked. “Sapphire did say they are aggressive.”

“We just have to get through this town and through the forest to reach the Dark Mountain.” Grand Ruler stated as he pointed beyond the town, where a mountain with black clouds circling the peak laid ahead. “Once we get over that mountain then we just have to cross the ocean and we’ll be in the Dragon Lands, simple.”

Celestia was still hesitant about this plan of just walking into a town that could very well or positively be hostile towards them. Grand Ruler sensed her nerves and hugged her. “I won’t let anything happen to you, my love.”

HIs words soothed his nerves a little. “Alright… let’s go.”

Their majesties held each others hands and walked into the town followed by their dragon. The town looked a little roughed up; Some of the buildings had holes in them and there was graffiti and the walls but overall it wasn’t that bad. The only downside was the ponies.

They spotted their majesties and their dragon walking in the town and looked at them with snarling expressions. Some of the ponies their majesties saw were wearing eye patches, had scratches on their faces and looked really bruly and mean. Celestia held her husband's’ hand a little tight. “Don’t worry, I’ll protect you.” he promised.

“Hey!” a rough voice called out. Their majesties stopped and turned around to be met by a bruly stallion with an eye patch over his left eye and a face and body covered in healed scratches.

“What are you two doing in our town?” he snarled.

“We’re… just passing through that’s all.” Celestia replied, trying to stay brave, but as the number of ponies slowly and slowly increased, their majesties soon found themselves surrounded by everyone in town… well almost everyone except for three ponies; One female was a Unicorn with a blue mane and tail and peach colored fur. She was wearing a heart-shaped ruby necklace, a dark blue cape paired with a printed leather skirt with spiderweb leggings and black combat boots. And two males; The one male was a black Earth Pony with a white mane and tail wearing a black and white jacket and black sneakers. The other male was a light green pegasi wearing a blue, red and gold jacket along with black sneakers. All three of them were looking at their majesties.

Dusk and Dawn growled at the number of ponies. “And what’s this?” the stallion inquired. “You’re pet?”

“No, he’s our friend.” Celesto growled back at him.

The stallion laughed. “There are no friends here. Everyone’s an enemy around here, including you two and you know what we do with enemies?”

The ponies around started cracking their knuckles and laughing sinisterly at the royals. Their majesties held each other in fear as Dusk and Dawn roared at them.

“.... Attack!” the ponies roared as they all pounced on their majesties, punching and kicking them furiously in a cloud of dust. Their majesties couldn’t fight back because they were so fast. Dusk and Dawn couldn’t fire at the ponies cause that would hurt their riders too. Celestia managed to a free the upper half of her body from the fight. Her name was disheveled and she had multiple scratches and bruises on it, including a black eye! “Boys, get out of here!” she cried before she was pulled back into the fight. Celesto broke free this time nd he was in the same condition as his wife, except he had a busted lip too, “You have too! GAH!” and got pulled back in. Dusk and Dawn didn’t know what to do; they couldn’t leave their riders to be pummeled.

Just then a whistle sounded through the air and the dust cloud vanished revealing everyone freezing in place with their majesties on the bottom. Some of the ponies were pulling on their mane and arms while others looked ready to kicked them.

The three ponies exited the alley and approached the mob. “Alright, you all let the royal ponies go.” the mare ordered. “Now.”

The ponies grumbled and respected the mares wishes and left the injured couple. They were both bruised and badly beaten. “Oooowwww.” they groaned. Dusk and Dawn rushed over and roared softly. The two males approached them, “They roughed them up good, Shadow.” the black stallion claimed. “I know, Comet.” she turned to the green stallion, “Blaze, get the beds ready for them.”

“Yes, Shadow.” Blaze dashed off while Shadow used her magic to carry their majesties along. Dusk and Dawn followed them.

They were soon in a building and their majesties were placed in two beds. Comet gave the two some ice packs while Blaze bandaged their injuries. Luckily, there wasn’t any internal damage.

Their majesties winced as Blaze placed some peroxide on their wounds. “This will help with infection.” he said. Shadow came back with two small bottle of medicine. She poured two spoonfuls for the ponies. “Here.” Their majesties accepted the spoonfuls and coughed a little.

“Thank you.” Celestia croaked.

“Shhh… easy, you two need some rest.” Comet stated. Dusk and Dawn nuzzled their riders as the three ponies left the room.

They soon came back with Shadow and Blaze carrying two bowls of soup for the injured couple. Dusk and Dawn helped their owners sit up in the beds. "Here." Shadow and Blaze placed the bowls of soup on their laps. "Thanks." Grand Ruler said. Comet gave the two headed dragon a barrel full of fish. Dusk and Dawn smiled and went in for a bite, but bonked their heads together. They looked at each other and tried again and bonked their heads again. Then they decided that Dusk would eat first and then Dawn would finish the rest.

Shadow scanned their majesties injuries with her magic. "Alright, then that healing spell I placed on you both worked fine." She used her magic to remove the bandages from the wounds. Their majesties finished their soup. "Thank you very much for the soup and your hospitality." Celestia said.

"No problem. We kinda guessed you two would end up like that happens to anyone whose nice around here." Blaze commented. "And I'm guessing you the ones that Sombra was talking about?"

"Yeah. We have to get to the Dragon Lands so we can get back home." Grand Ruler said.

"We'll help you." Shadow offered. "Right, boys."

"Eh." the stallions shrugged.

Their majesties smiled a little. Shadow opened the door and looked around. There were only a few ponies out now. "Come on." Shadow led their majesties with the stallions in the back for extra protection. They went into an alleyway and walked to the back of it. "What are we doing here?" Grand Ruler asked.

"We need to change you two if you want to get through this town." Shadow replied.

"Change us?" Celestia echoed. She and her husband looked at each other, "What's wrong with us?"

"If you want to get through this town, you'll have to look and act like one of us." Shadow used her magic and replaced their majesties fancy clothes with a jean jacket and a beanie. She placed and invisibility spell on their horns to hide them from sight, but Grand Ruler drew the line at replacing the cape, so she placed an invisibility spell on that too. She replaced their boots with sneakers.

"Now, you have to act like us." Comet said.

"How do we do that?" Celestia asked.

"Drop the 'please' and 'thank you'." Shadow said.

"And don't stare." Blaze added.

"Slouch a little." Comet added. Their majesties were a bit confused. "Ummm... okay?" they said in unison.

"You two need to just.... chill." Music started playing as Shadow and her boys explained to their majesties how they needed to act to get through the town.

By the time the song ended, the five of them were outside the town and at the base of Dark Mountain. "Nice you two." Blaze praised.

"Thanks." Grand Ruler said.

Shadow used her magic and changed the two back into their royal attire and removed the invisibility spell on their horns and the cape. "Looks like the rest is up to you two. The ocean is right over this mountain." Shadow replied.

"Right and thanks again." Celestia said. The three ponies nodded and walked back to the town. Their majesties and their dragon looked up the mountain. "Ready?" Grand Ruler asked.

"Ready." Celestia and her husband mounted their dragon and they flew up the side of the mountain, unaware that there was a pair of eyes watching them.

Dusk and Dawn were almost at the peak of the mountain, they were in one of the thick, black clouds. Their majesties could barely see where they were flying. "It's really dark in this cloud." Grand Ruler said.

"Yep." Suddenly, they all heard a loud cry split through the air. Dusk and Dawn stopped flying. "What was that?" Celestia asked.

Suddenly, a large blur rushed past Dusk and Dawn, causing them to spin out of control and crash at the top of the mountain. "Ugh... what was that?" Celestia groaned, rubbing her head. The cry was heard again and this time the blur came out of the cloud. It revealed to be a Roc. A huge bird of prey creature with giant wings and talons.

It squawked at their majesties and their dragon and dove right for them. "Move!" Grand Ruler cried. Dusk and Dawn shot into the air, just as the Roc's talons scrapped the ground. The giant bird squawked and flew after the Titan Wing. The Zippleback turned and saw the Roc gaining on them. "Celesto, what do we do?" Celestia asked. The Roc made several attempts to grab the Zippleback in mid-air, but luckily, Dusk and Dawn were quick, despite their size. Grand Ruler saw the dark clouds above them, "Boys, quick, into the clouds!" he ordered. The dragon obeyed and flew into the clouds with the Roc right behind him. The Roc hovered in the air looking for Dusk and Dawn.

Thanks to their dark colors and marking, the two of the were hard to be seen in the clouds. The Roc continued scouting in the clouds unaware that the Zippleback and it's riders had seeked shelter in the forest below on the other side of the mountain. "Well... we lost it." Celestia sighed.

"Yeah, come on, we better get moving." Grand Ruler added. The two of them and their dragons briskly walked through the fores, hoping the Roc wouldn't come back and try to grab them
