Sorry it took so long

Chapter 2

The next morning, the athletic girl is sleeping while a smirking Spike could be seeing walking in her room trying not to wake her up.

He snuck over to her bed and turned the alarm on her clock off, then he snickered and got underneath the blanket laying down next to her smirking still.

The athletic girl shifted in her sleep and turned, she unintentionally wrapped an arm around him and pulling him close to her thinking he's a body pillow.

The boy is in shock blushing that his face is so close to her's, he gulped as his trapped arm is pressing against her right breast and can feel a small nub.

He knows what that is and doing his best to not get erect, "S-She's not wearing a bra, god I hope her father doesn't see us like this", he thought to himself, he can also feel that she has her leg on him.

Suddenly he heard footsteps walking up the stairs and started to panic thinking it's her father, but it turns out it is her fifteen year old sister Scootaloo.

The younger girl is about to wake her big sister up, but instead saw her holding the panicking boy in her sleep and snickered with a smirk.

She walked up to the bed and shook the older girl, "Hey Rainbow, mom says it's time to get up".

Her sister slowly started to wake up before yawning, then she opened her eyes and saw that Spike was in her bed and she is holding him close.

"Heh heh, morning Rainbow", he gave a nervous chuckle before getting kicked off the bed by his all of a sudden angry red face friend.

"The hell you're doing in my bed", she asked trying to control the redness on her face, she couldn't believe that she was holding him like that in her sleep.

He got up rubbing his head, "I came to pick you up for school, besides I was planning for you to jump scare yourself out of bed, but all you did was wrapped an arm around me and pulled me close".

Then he inwardly smirked and decided to mess with her, "Heck I even heard you call my daddy in you're sleep".

"N-No I didn't, you're lying", she said blushing even more, then glared when he and her sister started laughing.

"I'm just messing with you, anyways your mom send me to wake you up and tell you that breakfast is ready", he told her while she is trying to shake the redness on her face away.

Then the younger athletic girl smirked again before saying, "Hey Rainbow, why don't you show him the picture you have on your Computer".

"Oh this I gotta see, it's probably some Daring Doo art-How about you wait downstairs for me while I get ready", she quickly stopped him from turning her Computer on.

"Yeah you're right, we got school today and a game", he then walked out her room and heading downstairs.

When he is out of ear shot, "Alright who told you, it was Pinkie huh", the older athlete asked glaring at her smirking sister.

"Nobody, saw your door wide open one day and saw the screen saver", the younger teen giggled causing her older sister to blush red again.

"Don't you dare tell him Scootaloo", she warned her little sister thinking she's gonna tell.

"Relax I won't tell him, but you gotta tell him why you have a picture of him shirtless on your Computer", her sister told her smirking before walking out.

The rainbow haired athlete just sighed and started getting clean clothes ready while also hoping that her friend won't find out about her having a picture of him on her Computer.

Later that day everyone is eating lunch in the Cafeteria while talking about the game hoping they are gonna win.

"Crystal Prep is gonna finally lose to us today", Spike told them smirking causing his athletic friend to nod in agreement.

Suddenly a boy around Sixteen years old came up to them with a smirk, he has blue jeans brown slip on shoes and a green shirt with a orange vest, his blonde hair is also in a man bun.

"Hey Rainbows, do you wanna hang out at the mall later after your big game", he asked causing the athletic girl to groan with a roll of her eyes.

"Zephyr, for the last time no...I already have plans after the game anyways", she told him while the group turned to him.

The teen frowned and asked, "So you're hanging out with him after the game", while pointing at the athletic boy causing the rainbow haired girl to nod.

Then Zephyr glared at the boy feeling like he took her from him, he suddenly got an idea, "Hey Spike, I'll arm wrestle you for her...winner takes her on a date after the game", he challenged.

That caused everyone to turn to the younger teen with raised eyebrows, "You know you're gonna lose right".

"You know what, challenge accepted", the green haired athlete suddenly accepted it causing the girls to turn to him.

Zephyr smirked confidently, "Alright let's do this, and Rainbows...get ready to date the Breeze after the game", then he walked to the other side of the table and sat down.

He placed an elbow on the table while a smirking Spike did the same thing, they grabbed each other's hand while Applejack grabbed their hands and made sure they are in the middle.

"3..2..1..go", then the two boys started arm wrestling, but Zephyr is bringing the athlete's arm down with all his might.

"The hell, when did you get so strong", he is panicking while trying to stop his hand from hitting the table.

Rainbow Dash started panicking too when he saw his hand close to the table, "Come on big guy, win", she cheered thinking he's gonna lose.

Then he stopped pretending, "Ok that's enough messing around", he started bringing his arm back up and brought the younger teens arm down on the other side.

"Well, looks like I win and get to take her on a date after the game", he told him smirking not seeing the smile and blush on his athletic friends face when he wrapped an arm around her.

"Yeah you did, oh well I'm gonna head outside", he started walking away in defeated, Fluttershy became concerned for her brother and followed him to make sure he's ok.

Suddenly Rarity smirked at her two friends, "Looks like you two will be going on a date after the game, it's about time".

Her male friend chuckled at that, "Oh no Rarity...we are not dating after the game, I just said that so Zephyr can finally leave her alone".

He failed to see the frowning disappointed look on Rainbow's face, "Y-Yeah...we are not dating".

Later that day it is game time, the team is in uniform and students from both schools along with cheerleaders were in the schools Auditorium, even families were there too.

"Oh there's my little basketball player", Velvet said smiling while going up to her son and hugging him causing him to be embarrassed.

"Mom, not in public", he wined like a little kid hoping no one is watching.

Then he saw two other adults in their mid Twenties and a little girl around Five years old walking up to them.

"Uncle Spike", the little girl squeaked running up to him while he lowered himself to her level to pick her up.

"Hey there Flurry Heart", he stood up hugging her while she hugged him back giggling happy to see her uncle.

"Glad you both can come to the game", he told the two adults before putting the little girl down and going up to his big brother and sister in law.

"Like I would miss my lil bro's basketball game", the young male adult pulled his head in for a light noogie smiling, then he let go.

"Shining and Cadence, hope you brought a camera cause I'm gonna be recording this", the older woman said before pulling out a Camcorder.

"Of course we did mom", the young adult told her before taking out his own Camcorder.

Suddenly they heard Rainbow calling, "Hey Spike, the game is gonna start in a little bit, get over here and get ready", then the boy ran towards his team while the young married couple smirked.

"Does he know that she has a huge crush on him", the young adult asked his family while they shook their heads no.

"Man he's more oblivious then you", the young woman giggled when husband turned to her frowning with a glare.

"Hey that was year's ago, I thought you wanted me to come over because you were feeling lonely", he frowned still causing his wife and mother to giggle.

"My folks were gone that night and I was home alone, you as a teenager should have known what I wanted from you when I called you to come over", she explained smirking still, then gave him a kiss causing him to smile.

After awhile the announcer told the people that the game is gonna start, the spectators are walking on the bleachers looking to take a seat while the cheerleaders got in position.

Soon the game started and the Crystal Prep has the ball first, after a few passes they scored the first two points causing their side to cheer.

"Come on sweetie, you can do it", Velvet cheered excitedly while recording.

The crowd started cheering for some of the respected teams their kid's are in while the game went back and forth between scores with a couple of foals or time outs here and there.

After awhile it is third half already and the score is 50 50, Soarin has the ball while running and bouncing it, "Let's go CHS, let's go", he heard the Cheerleaders cheer excitedly.

Then he turned to them smirking forgetting to shot the ball, then he ran face first into the wall knocking him to the ground just as everyone cringed at that in pain.

A referee blew the whistle, "Out of bounce Crystal Preps ball", the attention is now on the embarrassed teen getting up, he checked if his nose is broken and bloody, but it wasn't.

"That's what you get for looking at those Cheerleaders", Spitfire suddenly told him glaring before walking away, the team turned to her with raised eyebrows while a time out is called.

Her sister Fleetfoot walked up to her, "What was that about", she asked in shock while her sister crossed her arms looking away.

"Nothing ok, he should have been focusing on the game instead of looking at those Cheerleaders", that made her sister suspicious of something and smirk.

"Hmm, are you jealous that he is always looking at other girls and not you", then her sister frown with a blush and stood quiet.

"You are huh, you need to talk to him about it after the game", she told her sister again just as Soarin stepped out and another team mate took his place.

Spitfire suddenly put on a little smile when she saw the boys parents come from the bleachers and checked on him, especially his concerned mother.

Then giggled when she started checking him for injuries causing him to be embarrassed and telling her he's fine.

Later it is the forth quarter and a minute left, Crystal Prep is up by three since the score is 90 90 now making it tied.

"We gotta win this game guys", Rainbow said panting and tired from the game while her team nodded knowing they have to and need to win.

It is CHS ball and Spike began bouncing it before passing to Fleetfoot, the athletic girl is trying to look for an opening to shoot it and she did making the shot scoring 2 points.

The score was 92 90 now, soon Crystal Prep scored 2 more points making it tied again causing the CHS students to become nervous.

Spike turned to the clock and saw that there was 3 seconds left, then he gave a determined look and called for a time out stopping the clock.

The whistled blowed signaling the time out before the athletic boys team mates became confused at what he's doing, especially the Coach.

He called for a huddle while they can see the confident smirks on the Crystal Prep team thinking they are gonna win again.

"I got an idea, trust me on this", the team mates and Coach looked at one another, then turned back to the boy.

"Let's hear it, and it better be good", then he started telling his team the plan so they can win.

After awhile it was go time and Soarin had the ball, he was gonna pass it to Rainbow Dash, but saw Spike running around trying to get open for a pass.

Suddenly he saw an opening and passed it to him causing the boy to quickly throw it to the other side, the buzzer went off when the ball left his hand.

Everyone stood quit as it felt like slow mo, then just as luck is on his side the ball entered the basket causing CHS to cheer since the score counted as 3 points making them win by 1.

"CHS win, for the first time CHS beaten Crystal Prep in a Basketball game", they heard the announcer say excitedly.

Crystal Prep students and basketball team have shocked looks since they couldn't believe they lost, everyone is cheering and jumping along with Spike.

"We won, we finally kicked Crystal Preps ass at Basketball", Rainbow cheered excitedly while hugging the boy.

"Yeah", his friend broke the hug beaming then grabbed his head and pulled him in for a kiss, his eyes widen at this while everybody gasped in shock and stood quiet.

Rainbow realised what she's doing and quickly broke it red faced, "Uh...shit", she looked around and saw her six friends mother and sister smirking at her.

It is so quiet that the only noise that could be heard is the Basketball bouncing away, "Way to go Dashie, I always knew you had a crush on him", Pinkie suddenly chirped out of nowhere.

"You had a crush on me", he said in shock causing the girl to panic even more before running out the building.

"Rainbow wait", he called before following her out, everyone stood quit in a awkward silence while one of the students has the trophy.

"The hell just happened", a student suddenly spoke up causing everyone to shrug still confused wondering why the rainbow haired girl kissed one of her team mates.

Suddenly Sunset came up to her friends, "Should we follow them to make sure they are ok", she asked confused.

"Nah, I think it's time she finally tell him how she feels", Twilight told her friend hoping her brother can catch up to Rainbow so they can talk it out.
