Starfleet Season 2 (Rewrite)

Three months have passed since the defeat of King Sombra. Ever since then, Sapphire Shimmer, the newest Princess in United Equestria was getting used to her new castle home. The dragons immediately liked it, due to it have a large room for each of them. It took longer for her to get used to it, but eventually it felt like home.

Now she was walking through New Ponyville... which was vacant?

"Huh?" she looked side-to-side. Nothing. She looked behind her. Nothing. This was weird. All she saw were four creatures prowling through the streets. "Psst. Sapphire." a voice said. Sapphire looked at New Sugarcube Corner and saw Artie in the doorway. Artie used his magic to elevate Sapphire into the store. "Artie? Why are you in the dark alone?"

"I'm not in the dark alone." Artie turned the light on and Sapphire saw all her friends. "Okay... what are you all doing in here?"

"We're hidin' from... them." Applejack said nervously. Sapphire looked out the window at the five creatures.

The first one was a yellow, bipedal creature with a white belly. It has conical ears with black stripes and a red orb on its forehead. Its long neck has several black rings around it near the base. Its stubby arms resemble flippers and each foot has a single white nail. It has a long, black-striped tail with a red orb at the tip. The other three looked like wolves but they were a little different. And it had a necklace around it's neck with a strange orb with a symbol on it.

The second one is light brown wolf. It has a white underbelly that extends up around its muzzle and eyes in a mask-like marking. It has pointed ears with dark brown tips and pink insides, big blue eyes, and a triangular, dark brown nose. There are four sharp fangs in its mouth: two in the upper jaw and two in the lower. Large tufts of brown fur extend from the sides of its head; three tufts on each side. A bushy, white mane covers its neck. Four dark brown rocks poke out of its mane, creating a shape similar to a stylized sun. The lower portions of this form's legs are white, and each foot has three dark brown claws. It also has a long, fluffy white tail.

The third greatly resembled the first one but it was albeit with orange-gold fur and green eyes, as well as a fluffy mane on its neck.

The forth resembles a slouched, bipedal wolf or werewolf. It has short red fur with white on its lower legs, and a white streak that covers its face, underbelly, and tail. It has pointed,button ears with black tips, three large tufts of fur on each side of its face, a triangular black nose, and a mouth full of sharp teeth. While the sclerae, irises, and pupils of its eye are visible, they all glow a pinkish red and no distinctive colors are visible. A mane of fur covers its back and shoulders, sweeping forward over its head to form a crescent moon shape. On either side of its body, just below the shoulders, two small rocks resembling claws poke out of the mane. A single, bigger stone projects out of the front of the mane over its head. Each of this form's paws has three black claws, and it has a stubby tail covered in long fur.

The last creature looked like an owl with brown plumage and has a darker brown triangle pattern of feathers running down its chest. Its wings and wedge-shaped tail are dark brown, while the undersides of its wings are light brown. It has bushy, cream-colored feather 'horns' that look similar to eyebrows. The ring pattern around its eyes and its talons are cream colored, and it's beak and talons are light pink.

They turned and the ponies ducked in fear. "Oh stop being dramatic." Sapphire retorted with an eye roll.

"Can you blame us? Look at them! They're terrifying." Rainbow said.

"And just look at those markings so garish." Rarity commented.

"They’re pokemon."

"They’re what?" Everybody exclaimed.

"Pokemon and they are harmless."

"How do you know?!" Lightning exclaimed.

"Because they are the same pokemon I met while traveling after my escape from the lab."

"WHAT?!" Everybody exclaimed in shock. Sapphire smirked. "I'll prove it to you." Sapphire walked out of the shop and towards the raptors. Unaware that civilians were peeking out of their houses.

"What is the Princess doing?"

"She'll get herself killed."

"Someone save her!"

Sapphire reached the creatures who looked at her. "Ampharos, Lycanroc, Noctowl... remember me?" Ampharos looked at her and smiled greatly. "Ampha!" Ampharos cheered and ran over to her followed by the other pokemon. Sapphire hugged Ampharos and rubbed the three Lycanrocs on their heads. "I missed you guys too."

Ampharos gave Sapphire two special rings. A Z-Power Ring and a Key Stone.

The second was black and a small orb with a symbol in the center.

Soon the civilians and the ponies came out of hiding.

Lightning approached Sapphire at which the three Lycanrocs growled at him. "Woah, it's okay. He's my friend." The Lycanrocs stopped and stepped aside, while keeping a sharp eye on Lightning. "So... your pokemon are harmless?"

"Yes, they only attack when they think someone is threatening me. Can they stay, please?"

Lightning and the others were hesitant about this. With these new creatures around New Ponyville, the civilians would have to be on high alert, cause they don't know the pokemon as well as she does. "Let's talk with their majesties, first, Sapphire." he suggested. Sapphire nodded.

At the royal palace, Lightning explained everything to their majesties. "So these... pokemon are friends that you met during your travels, Sapphire?" Celestia asked.

"Yes, your majesty." Sapphire replied. "Can they stay please?"

"I'd say let them. They look harmless." Rainbow said.

"Lycanroc roc." the light brown Lycanroc said to Rainbow.

"What did it say?" Lightning asked.

"Lycanroc said, We're not completely harmless just wait until you see us battle." Sapphire translated.

"Battle?!" The other exclaimed.

"Yeah, my pokemon can battle too." Sapphire said with a grin.

"Oh yeah, prove it." Rainbow challenged.

"Alright, ready Ampharos?" Sapphire asked.

"Ampharos!" she cheered.

Soon, the friends were in the dojo with Rainbow and Ampharos on either sides. All the equipment was moved out of the was for the battle.

"This is gonna be easy." Rainbow smirked and she transformed.

"HARMONY HOUR, FRIENDSHIP POWER!"

"Go Rainbow!" Pinkie cheered. "You can do it!"

Rainbow lunged at Ampharos whom stood there doing nothing until... "Ampharos, Iron Tail!"

At the last second, Ampharos leaped into the air, shocking Rainbow Dash. "Huh?" Then Ampharos's tail glowed and she slammed Rainow Dash with it, sending her crashing into the wall. Rainbow shook it off and growled at the pokemon. "Now use Thunderpunch!"

Ampharos's right arms sparked with electrical energy and she charged Rainbow Dash. Rainbow flew up at the last second and rammed Ampharos in the side, ending the attack. Rainbow landed and laughed, "See, I knew this would be ea-" She was cut off when her body started sparking.

"What the-? What's going on with Rainbow?" Pinkie asked.

"It's Ampharos's special ability: Static." Sapphire replied.

"Static?" Celestia asked.

"When an opponent makes direct contact with Ampharos, they'll be paralysis. I knew that Rainbow would try to ram Ampharos and the battle would be over, but my pokemon is alot tougher than that." Sapphire explained. "Now use, Thunderbolt!"

Ampharos leaped into the air and blasted a strong electrical attack, striking Rainbow hard and sending her into the wall again. She fell to the ground and her suit powered down.

Ampharos won the match!

"You won Ampharos!" Sapphire cheered. Ampharos cried happily and hugged Sapphire. "Hehehe, good job, girl."

"Ampharos."

Lightning and the girls went over to Rainbow. "Rainbow are you alright?" Fluttershy asked.

"I... lost?" Rainbow said in a defeated voice. "How?"

"Because you underestimated your opponent." Sapphire said, coming over with Ampharos. "You thought you would win easily because you thought Ampharos would be slow due to her size, but looks can be deceiving, especially with pokemon."

Rainbow sighed sadly but Ampharos rubbed her back. "Ampharos, Ampha."

Rainbow smiled sadly at her, "Thanks Ampharos."

"So, who wants to battle my Lycanroc?" Sapphire asked.

"How about their majesties?" Buddy suggested.

"Yeah, it'll give your Lycanroc a great experience." Artie said.

Their majesties looked at each other and nodded. "Alright, we're ready." Grand Ruler said. Sapphire chose her Lycanroc (Midday Form) and Lycanroc (Dusk Form) for the battle.

"Ready boys?" Sapphire asked.

"Lycanroc!"

Their majesties started off by blasting magic at the two wolf pokemon. "Dodge it!"

The Lycanroc leaped into the air where there majesties met them in the sky. "Use Rock Throw!" The Lycanroc's lifted their tails and threw rocks at their majesties, striking them hard. The two fell a few feet before recovering and landing on the floor. "Now, Accelarock!"

The Lycanroc glowed and swiftly charged their majesties, bashing them hard and they skidded across the floor a little. Their majesties smiled, "Nice moves." Grand Ruler said.

"We're not done yet. Use Zen Headbutt!" They Lycanroc's focused their willpower to their head and rammed their majesties. Their majesties blocked it and threw the back. Their majesties charged the two Lycanroc and tried to punch them, but the wolf pokemon were swift with their reactions and dodged every single attempt. "Amazing, they don't miss and single beat while dodging those attacks." Starla said.

Their majesties backed off and Grand Ruler readied his horns for his final attack. "Ooooh, here it comes." Pinkie squealed with glee.

"TEN-FOLD UNIFORCE!" the large beam of Uniforce came burst towards the two Lycanroc. "Use Stone Edge!" Sapphire called. The two Lycanroc howled and slammed their front paws into the ground and large blue, glowing stones came out and they actually blocked Grand Ruler's attack, completely shocking everybody. "What?!" Lightning asked.

"Ampharos, Lycanium Z!" Sapphire called.

"Lycanium Z?" Everybody exclaimed. Ampharos pulled out a box and took out a strange looking crystal.

"Alright then, let's go!" Sapphire cried. The stone in ring on her right wrist glowed and she started down some poses and a powerful aura surrounded her and transported into the Lycanroc's. They howled loudly. "Aright use Splintered Stormshards!" The Lycanroc howled and rocks surrounded the two of them. They leaped into the air and the rocks pointed towards their majesties. Sapphire interlocked her hands together and the Lycanroc howled and dove towards their majesties. They landed in between them while the shards, struck the two of the hard.

Their majesties were knocked onto the floor. The Lycanroc's had won!

"Your majesties!" Lightning cried. The team and Sapphire went over to their majesties. Lightning and Starla sat them up." Are you alright?" Lightning asked.

"Ugh... we're okay, Lightning." Grand Ruler said. The Lycanroc's went to their majesties and licked them on their cheeks. "Awww, we're alright, Lycanroc." Celestia reassured.

"Good cause that move was AWESOME!" Rainbow cried. "Totally powerful."

"What was that move anyway?" Dyno asked.

"Si, we've never saw anything like that." Myte added.

"That's Lycanroc's Z-Move." Sapphire replied.

"Z-Move? What's that?" Lightning asked.

"A Z-Move is an extremely powerful move that pokemon can use based on the type of attacks they have. And there are Z-Move made for specific pokemon, like the one I just use for Lycanroc. There are many Z-Move types. Ampharos." Ampharos came up to the team and showed them all the Z-Move crystals.

"Woah, these so many." Applejack said.

"One for each type of pokemon." Sapphire added.

"So can Ampharos use a Z-Move too?" Artie asked.

"Yes, he can use the Electric, Steel, Fire and Ice type Z-Moves because he knows those types of moves." Sapphire replied.

The ponies were amazed. They never guessed that pokemon could use moves of that power. "Incredible." Grand Ruler gasped.

"So what other things can your pokemon do?" Pinkie asked.

"I'll show you guys later, but first I have to introduce my pokemon friends to someone." Sapphire replied.

Knock Knock Knock

Mykan Stevens heard the knock and went to answer the door. He opened it and saw Sapphire with her pokemon friends. "Hi Mykan." she greeted.

Mykan just stared at her for a moment.

"... YOU HAVE POKEMON FRIENDS?!" Mykan exclaimed. All of New Canterlot heard that yell.

After calming Mykan down after his outburst. Sapphire explained to him everything that happened. All the while, Amphaors, Lycanroc and Noctowl were scouting his house in curiosity. "Woah, so these are the other friends you made when while you were raveling after escaping the lab?"

"Yes."

Lycanroc (MIdday Form) came to Sapphire's side while Lycanroc (Midnight Form) came to Mykan's "They are so cute." he cooed, rubbing Lycanroc's head. Lycanroc growled in enjoyment.

"Yeah, they are adorable aren't they?" Sapphire cooed, rubbing Lycanroc's head. Just then, Lycanroc (Dusk Form) perked up "Lycanroc" "Ampha?"

"What is it, Lycanroc?" Mykan asked. Lycanroc dashed out the door and the other pokemon followed. Mykan and Sapphire looked out the window and saw the wolf running towards, "The Palace? Why's he going there?" Mykan asked.

"Don't know but it can't be good. Let's go." Sapphire and Mykan dashed out the door. They caught up with the pokemon at the entrance to the palace. Quietly they walked in and began walking around, the Lycanroc's using their ears like detectors. They lead themeveryone to the throne room. "Hey, the doors cracked. And some footprints." Mykan said. Sapphire looked at the footprints. "They look like boot prints but who-" Mykan was cut off when Ampharos began pointing into the throne room. "Ampharos, Ampha!"

Peeking through the door, Sapphire and Mykan gasped in shock. There were two people and a cat in there. "Who are they?"

"Lycanroc, Lycna."

"Lycanroc said their called Team Rocket." Sapphire translated.

"Team Rocket?" Mykan asked.

"Noctowl, Noct."

"They're an evil organization that tries to steal and hunt pokemon."

Mykan gasped. "That's awful."

"Yeah and by the looks of this. They mean serious business."

Team Rocket had their majesties locked in a cage with anti-magic manacles on their horns and had Lightning and the gang tied up. The cat had the team's energizers so they couldn't transform. Ampharos and Lycanroc shook with fury at the sight of these creeps again. "What do you think they want?." Mykan asked.

"My best guess, is that they want my pokemon friends." Sapphire said.

"How'd they easily get in here so fast?" Mykan wondered.

"No time for that now, we have to save our friends." Sapphire said. Ampharos and Lycanroc turned to her.

"Ampharos!"

"Lycanroc!"

"What are they saying?" Mykan asked.

"They wanna battle Team Rocket." Sapphire translated. "And I've got a plan."

In the throne room, Team Rocket kept asking the captured gang the same question. "Where are Ampharos, Noctowl and the Lycanroc?" the women asked.

"We're not telling you creeps anything." Pinkie snarled.

The women growled, "Jesse, it's obvious these ponies won't willingly tell us where they are. So we have to force them to tell us." the man said.

"Right, James. Go Mimikyu!"

"Go Mareanie!" Jesse and James released their pokemon.

Mimikyu: a small Pokémon whose body is almost entirely hidden under a rag. Its beady black eyes are visible through holes in the body of its disguise, and the fringe of an amorphous foot or lower body appears to be visible under the hem of its rag. Occasionally, it will also extend a black appendage from under its rag. The veil itself resembles a pikachu. The cloth is yellow with black tipped ears. The Pikachu face appears to be drawn with crayons, consisting of black eyes, red cheeks, and a squiggly black mouth. Mimikyu also carries a small stick resembling a lightning bolt to create a tail for its costume.

Mareanie: a starfish-like Pokémon with a purple stalk-like body and ten drooping tentacles that resembles hair. It has a blue and purple color scheme, as well as what appears to be a gloomy expression. It has three teeth and blue eyes with yellow sclera and pupils. Each tentacle has three spines, except the one above its face, which is shorter than the others and has only two. It also has an additional yellow spine on the top of its head.

Mareanie attached herself to Jame's face, poking him with her spines "EEEEHHH! THERE'S A TIME A LACE FOR EVERYTHING!" he cried as he pulled her off of his face and placed her on the ground.

Mimikyu creeked at the ponies. "Now will you tell us where the pokemon are now?" Jesse asked.

"No way!" Lightning cried.

"Alright then, Mimikyu, Shadow Claw!" Jesse ordered.A purple hand came out from underneath Mimikyu's cloak and he launched it towards Lightning. "Honey, no!" Starla cried.

Before the tail made contact...

"Lycanroc!" a Rock Throw slammed into Mimikyu, sending it into the wall!

"What?" Jesse cried. Noctowl swooped in and bashed Mareanie away Lightning and the others. "Noctowl!" Lightning cried.

The cat growled and got out it's claws, You'll pay for that! Have a feel of my Fury Swipes Attack!" The cat lunged at Amphaors, but she leaped into to air and used smacked the cat with it's Iron Tail attack, sending him skidding on the ground. "Mewoth!" James cried.

"Let out friends go, Team Rocket!" a voice came.

Team Rocket turned and saw Sapphire and Mykan. "Sapphire, Mykan!" Starla cried.

"Soo, you're the famous human we've heard about." Jesse said, looking at Sapphire.

"Yes and I'd like it if you let my family go this instant." Sapphire growled. Her pokemon came in front of her.

"Amphaors!"

"Lycanroc!"

"Noctowl!"

Meowth laughed, "I've got a better idea, you surrender yourself and the pokemon for your friends."

"No deal, creeps."

"Well then, we'll just have to take them and you by force." James claimed. "Mareanie, Sludge Bomb!"

"Mimikyu, Shadow Ball!"

Mimikyu launched a black and purpleish ball at the pokemon while Mareanie blasted large balls of mud at them. "Amphaors, Lycanroc, Iron Tail!!"

Ampharos and the Lycanroc's charged the attacks with their steel hard tails and smacked the two attacks back, hitting Mimikyu and Mareanie. "Mimikyu, Mareanie!"

Lycanroc (Dusk Form) leaped at the cage and his tail turned at steel. He slammed his tail onto the cage, cutting it easily and freeing their majesties. He then went over to Lightning and the gang and cut the rope easily with his tail. "Alright, Lycanroc." Buddy praised.

Team Rocket growled, "You'll pay for that, twerp!" Jesse exclaimed.

"I don't think so. Ready Ampharos?" Sapphire asked.

Ampharos looked at Sapphire and nodded. "Ampharos!"

Sapphire held up her left wrist and pressed the key stone inside. At the same time Sapphire's and Ampharos's key stones growled. "Alright Ampharos... Mega Evolve!"

"MEGA EVOLVE?!" Everybody exclaimed.

Ampharos glowed brightly and gained white fur with red orbs on his head and down to his neck and his tail changed in the same thing. When it was done, Ampharos cried majestically. "Ampharos!"

"Woah... beautiful." Lightning gasped. His friends and their majesties agreed.

Meowth scoffed. "That trick won't work one us."

"Then try this. Lycanroc!"

Lycanroc leaped up and threw Sapphire a Dragon Type Z-Move.

Sh replaced the Lycanium Z with it. "Now Ampharos!"

"Ampha!" Just like before she did poses but this time opened her hands to simulate wide, ope jaws. The power transferred into Ampharos. "Use Devastating Drake!" Sapphire cried.

"Ampharos!" Ampharos unleashed a very powerful burst of energy that changed into a very large dragon, heading straight for Team Rocket. "WAHHHH!"

KABOOM! What an explosion! It was so powerful that it blew Team Rocket clear out of the palace and far away. "We're blasting off again!" they cried.

"Alright!" Sapphire cried.

"Ampharos!"

"Lycanroc, Rooooo!" Lightning and the team came up to them. "Excellent work, Sapphire." Lightning praised.

"Yeah, you saved us." Pinkie said.

"It was all my pokemon friends." Sapphire claimed. Lycanroc nuzzled her. "Woah, Ampharos, looks awesome." Rainbow said

"Yeah, that's what Mega Evolution does; changing their appearance and increases their power."

"Looks like pokemon have all kinds of surprises." Lightning said.

"Yep." Sapphire said with a smile.

"How did those three get into the palace in the first place?" Mykan asked.

"They deactivated the security system and knocked out the guards at the gate." Celestia replied. "We'll get them fixed up soon."

"Good. Cause those three are dangerous." Artie said.

"Yeah. They were so focused on getting your pokemon, Sapphire." Dyno said.

"Probably to perform some experiments on them like those people did with you, Sapphire." Myte added.

The three Lycanroc growled. "Don't worry, we won't let them get you." Sapphire reassured.

"Don't worry, we won't let them get you." Fluttershy promised.

"Now we have new enemies on our hands." Lightning claimed. The friends agreed. United Equestria was at war once again.
