It was a cool Saturday morning in Equestria. All the the young creature in the world waking up getting ready for the fun three day weekend ahead of them.

Six young creatures, all still in bed after their long night playing games in each others dorms, went to sleep around two to three in the morning. While all the other creatures scurried along the streets, those six just slept all day till around noon wasting most of their fun Saturday. Though there was still some time.

“Good morning Equestria” Ocellus said yawning

“Lets see what I had planned for today.” She looked at her list on her bedside table.

“First Make breakfast for every creature, like always, then see what they all have plan for the
day. If they have no plans ask every creature if they want to go to the Ponyville Library for the 105th time” she said rolling her eyes “I should really give up on asking that, what time is it?” The clock in her room read 1:24PM.

Ocellus sat there in disbelief, she had slept in all day and missed both breakfast and lunch! But was it only her?

Ocellus calmly walked of out her room still in shock, she walk over to Silverstreams door and knocked on it to see if she was up but no response

“oh dear am I the only one who slept in” she knocked again and finally got answer, she looked at silver she looked exhausted and as if she had just gotten out of bed

“good morning Ocellus” she said rubbing her eyes

“what time is it?”

”it's almost 1:30 in the afternoon we all have overslept!” Ocellus said in a urgent tone

“oh man I had so much planned for today” silver said in a disappointing tone.

”So did I ... well let's get the others up i’ll get Yona and Sandbar you get smolder and Gallus”

“aww why did you give me the hard ones” Silver whined.

they sat at a round table in the cafeteria eating whatever was leftover from lunchtime

“well there is another beginning to a weekend wasted” Sandbar said to the group
the rest nodded in agreement
“great now we’ll go to bed at the same time tonight repeating for the entire weekend don't you love a COMPLETELY FUCKED SLEEP SCHEDULE!” Gallus said in a sarcastic tone

“SHHH!” the other five hushed him

“you know the professors don't like it when we use that language!” Ocellus said to him

“oh chill out we are the only ones in here no one heard me” Gallus said confidently

“you sure about that?” Gallus eyes widened at the other voice

“man such strong language I am so offended” Gallus turned to the the stallion who was reading
a book

“uhh..” was the only thing Gallus could mutter, The stallion just burst into laughter

“man I really scared you oh oh… shit that was great!”

Gallus just sat there still looking dumbfounded and frankly pissed the others just laughed at their friend.

”So Page Turner, what brings you to the cafeteria?” Ocellus said

“Oh I woke up late, judging but what Gall said you guys too?” Page questioned

“Yak usually up early but today yak slept in too late” Yona said

“well that's a bummer, anything you all could think of doing today ?” silence sat among the group for a good minute until Ocellus quietly asked

“you know we could go to the library?”...the six looked at here

“that sound like a fun idea!” Page chirped

“eh why not, there's nothing else to do” Sandbar said

“Oooohhh! That sounds like fun! a library out of the school! This is exciting!” Silverstream said as she flew into the air hovering over them

“Yona?” she asked

“Yona has no other things to do” Yona told the group Ocellus look at Smolder and Gallus

“You two in?”

Smolder groaned “Why not” she said with a shrug

“Gallus what about you?”

”No” he quipped, the others looked at him dumbfounded. All Ocellus did was look down.

“Why?” she asked sounding noticeably disappointed

“What am I gonna find to read I just don't read for the heck of it you know that!” Gallus exclaimed

“So? So do I and I'm still going!” Smolder said in an annoyed

“Fine! I'll go, but don't expect me to find anything” Gallus said

“Well you all have fun, I got some work to do. See you all later!” Page told the group

“All right see you around” Ocellus told him “We should get going” and off to the library they went.

“Remember, there are many other ponies trying to read in here so please be quiet.” Ocellus told as she opens the door to the library

The library was way bigger than the schools and maybe Twilights own personal library but who knows how big her’s is. Silverstream jumped up with excitement as she flew in the others where in aw at the site besides one… Gallus wandered away from the group, he stopped in the fiction section looking around one book caught his eye “The Adventure of Eisuke: The Heroes of Crementia, huh sounds interesting” He pulled out the book it seemed to be a comic of some sort with the main character being a Griffin, hippogriff, Changeling, Yak, and pony (though much taller than one you see around here) “this seems interesting” Gallus thought to himself.

(One month later)

“I want all of you to write a paper about your own findings of friendship in literature” the entire class groaned at what Twilight just said

“Oh come on! it doesn't need to be that long, like a page or two!” the class was still not amused

“Ok so when it it due?” one of the students asked

“Well I expect it by the end week”

*RING!*

“Remember by the end of the week, class dismissed! Have a great rest of the day!”

the six were heading back to their dorms, on the way they discussed what they were gonna write about and for some that was not going well

“I’m gonna have to go to library and read something I never read!” Smolder said to the group

“Well that gives me an idea! why don't we all write in the library and exchange ideas about our stories!” Ocellus asked

The other nodded in agreement and headed to the school library except for one…

Gallus just stood there watching the others walk off Ocellus noticed his though

“Gallus? You coming?”

“Nah I rather write alone” he told Ocellus

“Alright… if you need help you know where to find us” She told him as she waved him goodbye.

Gallus knew exactly what he was gonna write about he just did not want his friends to know about it but how long can he keep on his secret about his reading?

“Spiiiiike!” twilight yelled for her dragon assistant

“Yes twilight?” spike ask as he peered into her office

“You know anything about this story?” she shoved a paper into his face

“The Adventure of Eisuke! I have read a bit of it and it’s pretty good, who wrote this paper?” spike asked

“Its Gallus’s”

“Really!?”spike was thrown a bit off by her response

“ Well... from what I have read, he is pretty accurate on his comparison”Spike told her

“There are some grammatical errors here and there but besides that it's an A in my book”

“Ok well I am trusting you on you judgement if I find out you gave a free A”

“Yeah yeah I know" he grumbled

Gallus was in his room reading another part of The Legend of Eisuke which he had to catch up on since the series had been out for while before he picked it up and the last book was being released soon and the was one book from the second to last book in the series
He was startled by a knock on his door he hid his book under his pillow “coming!”he got up and opened the door to see spike standing there he was thrown off expecting one of his friends

“Oh hey spike”

“Hey uh can I come in?”spike asked

“Uhh sure” Gallus was thrown off by this question

Spike made his way into the room and closed the door behind him

“So I read your paper” Spike told him. Gallus stepped back in shock, not expecting ANYONE but professor Twilight to read that paper.

“Your points seemed pretty spot on, although I need to tell you one thing... DON'T under ANY circumstances buy any issue of that comic for cheap or form some sketchy flea market! from personal experience of being put into a power ponies comic with the elements, I’m telling you it wasn’t exactly what I hoped for, However that doesn’t mean it wasn't a good learning experience. Seriously though, enchanted comics are nothing to mess with ”

“Wait.. there are enchanted versions of those comics where you can be sucked into them And become the characters?” Gallus said shocked

“Mhm just please be careful, buy from respectable sources” Spike warned

“Alright no cheep or sketchy flea markets… Got it!” Gallus exclaimed

“You sure?”

“Yep”

“Alright well see you tomorrow!” Spike said

“You two!” Gallus hollered back.

When Spike left Gallus went back to reading, and within the night alone he read to the end of issue nine of ten.

(Two weeks later)

Gallus rushed back to the school after buying issue ten of The Legend of Eisuke keeping it in his bag so his friends couldn't see it hopefully allowing him to get to his dorm with ease

“Alright let's just get to my room and this will all be fine just put it with the rest and leav-”

“HEY GALLUS!” a voice yelled at him, He was startled and ran into the fountain in the courtyard

“Oh uh hey guys…” gallus said rubbing his temples

“Dude where have you been for the past few hours?” smolder questioned the griffon

“Nowhere!” he was quick to respond.

“Hmm what's in the bag?” smolder questioned seeing clear through his lie

“Huh? what bag!?” he said moving closer to the dorms

“This one silly!” Silver grab the bag he was hiding behind him

Gallus was starting to freak out in his mind though his body remained cool

“It's nothing now…. give me my bag back”

“Oh come on what’s there to hide?” Smolder told him as she ripped it out of Silvers hands

“Nothing its just mine now please give it back” He tried to remain cool but he was slowly getting more and more aggravated.

“Come on Smolder, just give it back” Sandbar told smolder

“Not until Gally over here tells us what's in the bag!”

“First off I said its nothing, second don't call me that! Now just give me my damn bag!” Gallus said as he bolted at Smolder and yanked it right out from her claws

“Ok, what’s in there that’s So special?” Ocellus asked

Gallus started to sweat nervously. The only way out was the dorms, but he would be trapped. It didn't matter, he had to at least try. He leaped for the door flying in the open window. The others went for him, but as he ran into his room *SLAM* he was tackled to the ground by Yona, his bag slid on the floor out of his reach
“Alright lets see what all this is ab-” smolders words were cut but the sight she saw raped in plastic was a book titled The Adventure of Eisuke: The Heroes of Crementia issue No.10

“You were hiding a comic book?” smolder said confused

“Really? That's it? You’re embarrassed cause of a book!”

“Well you know I don't read! I just didn't want any creature knowing cause its kinda out of my nature..”

“Gallus no creature is gonna judge you for reading a story!” Ocellus told him

“Yeah seriously that would be dumb now what is this story about anyway-” Smolder’s words where cut of by a white light emitting from the open book

“What the-”

Within a flash there were gone and the book just fell to the ground closed in the middle of his room.

First time writing one of these but I have had this idea for a while and need to get out of my head by writing in. I have no clue how long it will be or if there will ever be an update scheduled but who knows. I hope you have enjoyed chapter one!
