Heroes of Crementia (Cancelled)

Gallus open his eyes he was lying in a bed, in an unrecognizable room.

“Where am I?”

He scanned the room. His eyes fell on one thing a sword.

“Is that-?” He was cut off by a voice yelling at him.

“EISUKE GET YOUR ASS UP AND GET TO YOUR STATION GUARDING THE PRINCESS’S ROOM!” He heard a voice from the other side of the door.

“Now I know where I am”

“Ye- yes sir!” He said nervously.

Gallus got up and walked to the dresser positioned under the sword. He knew what Eisuke’s clothes looked like, so it wasn't too hard to find out what to wear.

He grabbed the sword and put the scabbard on the two rings on his clothes under his wing. “Okay now time to find Princess Aishi’s room… this won’t be easy.”

The one thing that the comic never showed was the full layout of Crementia Castle. Though he knew what her door looked like, he just didn’t know how to find it.

He walked down the hall and found the kitchen where chef Quesh was preparing some lunch for the royal family and guards.

“Oh good morning Eisuke.”

“Good morning chef.”

“You should really be getting to the princess’s room. The guards are pretty pissed at you.”

“Yeah I know, well is there anything to eat?”

The chef tossed a roll to Gallus “Here have a sweet roll.”

“Thanks!.. Hey umm you wouldn't know where the princess’s room is?” Gallus asked

The chef look confused “I uh am having one of those days where I can’t remember simple stuff.” Gallus said with a nervous sweat.

“Down the hall to the right.” The chef was suspicious of the griffon, but didn't say anything.
“Thanks,” Gallus yelled back heading down the hall

He arrived at the door. “Welp I guess I just stand here and wait.”

“Gallus?” He heard a familiar voice behind the door

“Silverstream?!”

The door opened and a pink blur sprang at him throwing him to the ground.

“Ok Silver, you can stop hugging me now.”

“Oh, sorry!”

“You okay? You don't look so good.” Silverstream looked like she had not slept all night and been crying for hours.

“Gallus where are we? Where are our friends?” Silver said.

“Let's talk about it in your room.”

“I don't know where the others are, but It seems when smolder opened up the book I think we were transported into it.”

“Wait…we’re in a story? That's so Cool!” She instantly perked up.

“Yeah I guess it's cool. Like I said I think.”

“Sooooo if we are in a story… who am I!? and who are you?”

“I am guardian Eisuke and you are Princes Aishi the princess of Crementia.”\

“Oh I'm a princess! No wonder this room is so fantastic.”

They were both caught off by a knock at her door.

“Aishi dear you feeling okay it's almost noon and you haven't gotten up?” The voice behind the door was feminin and by judging by how it was worded, Gallus knew who it could be.

“just say your fine” Gallus whispered

“I-I’m fine” silver said. Her voice quivered, but not enough for her to notice.

“Okay we’ll get ready. It’s almost time for lunch and I don't want need you to also miss lunch.”

The two waited till they were sure she was gone before they restarted conversing.

“Who was that?” silver whispered.

“I think that was Queen Krentina Crement.”

“I am gonna assume that is my “mother?””

“Yep…” Gallus stepped to the dresser and pulled out some clothes and handed them to Silver.

“Put these on, I will be waiting outside the door” silver nooded.

Silver exited the room and looked at Gallus. “Ready?” Gallus asked. “mhm” Silver says in response.

As they walk down the hall, Gallus discussed to Silver some ideas he had come up with while he was waiting.

“So I am assuming the others are the other guardians: Changeling Princess Yasashii, Vigilance of Yaksvill Tsuyoi, Dragon Confidence Ōheina, and The Sarasa Clan Leader Kenjin

“Sarasa clan?”

“They are a clan of tall ponies.”

“Like how tall?”

“Around five to six feet”

“Wow that's like the height of an adult hippogriff!”

“Yep, My plan is that we visit each one of their clans and see if my theory is true”

The were near the kitchen door meaning they were next to the dinning hall

“Silver, when we see the queen don't bow, she is your “mother.” You don't need to, but I have to.” Gallus said sternly.

“Got it, don't bow to my ‘mother.’”

Gallus and Silverstream entered the dining hall and Queen Krentina saw them, “Ah there you two are!”

Gallus bowed to the queen while she hugged Silver.

“Eisuke I have told you many times you have no need to do that anymore.”

“Oh… right.”

“So do you two have plans for the day?”

“Mhm, we plan on visiting the other guardians and make sure everything is ready for them”

“Got it, well you too be safe these attacks are getting more frequent.”

“I know.”

“Okay well you two better head off soon if your going to every clan it is gonna take all day.”

“That was the plan”

The two grabbed some food and went to pack up for their journey.

The two exited the castle into the town below. The civilians consisting of Hippogriffs, griffins, and ponies who watched and bowed their heads as the two walked down the Main Street.

“Man, what a crowd.” Silver whispered to Gallus.

“You’re royalty they have to do that.”

“Oh.”

Gallus scanned the crowd, his eyes falling on a young griffin who had a wooden sword in his claws. The foal looked at Gallus with aspiration in his eyes. Gallus gave the kid a smirk as he smiled back in full.

The two exited the main gates into a big field. Gallus had always thought the landscape in the comics style was beautiful, but to see it in real life… It was breathtaking.

“Wow…” Gallus mutterd.

“I know right, this place is amazing!!”

“Well let's head off to Kitinea City. That's where the changelings live, judging by this map its east of Crementia Castle.”

“I'll just go with whatever you say cause I have no clue where anything is.”

The two headed down the path heading towards Kitinea City. The two walked in silence until silver broke it.

“Gallus? When you were talking to the queen, who were they?”

“They?”

“The creatures that you referred to as they!”

“Oh uh the Interitus clan?”

“The Interitus clan?”

“They are a group of alicorns from the ancient alicorn tribes who rebelled against the royal family.”

“So what is a small group of rebels gonna do? They are up against an entire country’s army.”

“Them by themselves isn't the issue it's their motive. All they want in this world is power and to get that power is to resurrect Exitium the god of destruction and power, and as cliche as it sounds the only thing that can actually kill him is this sword” Gallus lifted his wing reviving the sword.

“So we have to fight a god and a entire clan!?”

“Yep.”

“Wait. Gallus are we all gonna have to…kill” she trailed off.

He stood there not expecting that response.

“I... don't know, well I know I have to, but as for the rest of you… that's not up to me”

“Okay...” Silver said in a weekend tone “Do you really have to?”

“Yes though it doesn't mean I want to-” Gallus stopped hearing a rustle from a bush nearby.

“So little Eisuke doesn't want to kill” a strange voice came from two bodies emerging from behind the bush “What a weak kid.”

Once Gallus got a good look at the two he recognized there clothing, they where one of Them

“You’re now scared what happened to our little stone cold Eisuke, did he finally lose his fire?”

The two were approaching fast Galluses heart was starting beat faster and his claws began feel weak “can I do this… what if I die!?” his mind was racing he could not focus on the two *WHAM* the pommel of one of their swords hit Gallus square in the head sending him to the ground

“I expected more from you. The others are afraid of you but you’re nothing, you’re weak”

The stallions eyes fell upon Silverstream “Wind Runner!, take hold of this “warrior””

“Yes sir!” the other hollered at his superior and lifted Gallus by the scruff

“Princess Aishi, what a surprise!” the stallion cup her chin.

“Get your hooves off of me!” silver swatted his hoof away

He grab her pulling her close,pulling out a knife and brought the tip to her cheek. She could feel the it almost pierce her skin.

“Not so tough now are you?”

Gallus noticed his holder was distracted by the sight of his superior. He took this opportunity to elbow him in the chest, knocking the wind out of him. He dropped Gallus trying to catch his breath. Gallus Charged At the Stallion holding Silverstream tackling him to the ground sending the knife sprawling across the dirt. The two charged for the knife, Gallus reaching it the nick of time and stabbed the stallion in the chest. The Stallion froze and looked at his chest seeing blood start to ooze out

“Forgive me lord exitium...” the stallion muttered as he fell cold

Silver sat witnessing what Gallus did. He really just killed someone, and all she could see in her mind was the stallions face when he collapsed a face of pure horror and pain. Gallus looked to face Silverstream

“Sorry you had to see that...You okay?”

She removed her claw to reveal a laceration like no other, a long thin streak about an inch deep into her face, cutting clean through muscle and tissue leaving a burning sensation and tears in her eyes the blood dripping through stained her feathers with a crimson red splotch “That creep cut me.”

“Oh my…Here” Gallus pulled some bandages from his bag.

“Thank you” Silver replied starting to patch herself up.

Gallus notice the other stallion staring at them.

“You killed him...I thank you for my freedom”

“Freedom?”

“You think I choose this?! I was captured by them on one of there raids! Most of us are its horrible,and oh don't get me started on how they have corrupted many of my old friends minds!”

He pause to compose himself “I never want to to go back. I just want to go home I miss my village, my people, my everything...”

“Okay well you can stick with us till we get there.”

“Thank you… Where are you two heading to right now Kitinea or yaksvill?”

“Kitinea, we are on our way to meet up with guardian Yasashii.”

“Alright, I guess we should get moving?” Wind Runner asked

“I guess so”

The three made there way to the city with Wind Runner trailing behind quite a bit

“You good?” Gallus asked the slow alicorn

“I’m fine, I just need a break” he said sitting down.”You two go ahead, I’ll catch up.”

“Alright” the two call out to him.

Gallus and Silverstream went ahead a bit and they too decided to take a break

“Hey, how are you holding up?” Silver asked the throughtfull griffon.

“Huh? I'm fine”

“You sure? You have been offly quiet after that fight ”

“Im sorry its just...I killed someone”

“Oh…”

“I don't know how to live with that I mean I know were in a comic and they're not real but… they feel real, act real. It just feels like I have actually killed someone. I just don't want you or the others to think and different of me...”

Silver walked over to Gallus and put and arm around him “Why would we? I mean you had to kill him… or we might not even be here”

“Thanks... so how’s the cut?”

“Oh it’s fine, hurts a lot though.”

“Yeah that cut was pretty deep. I'm sorry, I didn't mean to get you hurt”

“It's all alright You had good intentions.”

“Oh you two decided take a break too?”

The two looked at Wind Runner nodding.

“Good I need another one”

“Sorry we were about to head out again it's almost night fall” Gallus told him

“Damnit”

The three were on the final stretch of path towards the city.

“Race you to the gate?” Silver told the two .

“You're on!” Gallus exclaimed.

“Sorry, my legs way too tired to race, I’ll meet you two in the city” Karl said collapsing

“Alright you ready?” Silver said confitly

“Ready to beat you!”

“Threetwoonego”

“Wha- that's not fair!”

Wind Runner watched as the two ran to the City

“Should I even enter… maybe they won't know where I am from?...hopefully” He thought to himself

“And Silverstream is the winner!!”

“Yeah cause you cheated! Silver?”

Silver face was deadpanned looking into the city Gallus waved a claw in here face

“Silverstream?”

All she did was point Gallus looked into the city seeing ruins of houses and many lumps covered in sheets, changeling families some no longer families crying over them.

Gallus sat there in disbelief looking in to the city

“Holy shit”........
