Great to know, I look around the new room I'm in. It was a simple nursery filled with toys, cribs, and other baby items. Across from my new crib was my new sister, Twilight Sparkle. It's interesting to think about it, but what exactly caused her cutie mark to look the way it does? What it her destiny to be the element of magic, did the element base itself on her mark, or was it just chance.

That's very convenient. I then proceed to use 'Observe' on every single item and crack I could find in the room, leveling it up 7 times in total, which also got my normal level to go up twice. That gave me 3 points each which I put 2 into I/W, and 1 into L for both levels. After that I meditated until I noticed the sun starting to set, leveling that up 10 times and getting 2 more levels and increasing my total I/W by 3, for the leveling points I placed 2 points into S, E, and A bringing them up to 17 each.

I sighed internally as the door opened to reveal Night Light and Twilight Velvet... You know I never got why they gave her the same first name as the shows mainest character. I then pocketed that train of thought as the pair started talking.

"I've got to be honest, I didn't think that either of them would make it. After what happened to Shining." What did she just say?! Shining Armor is dead!?!? Oh nonononono I haven't even changed anything yet! Oh no Velvet looks like she's about to cry. I need to help. But how? I can't even walk ye- wait can I? Worth a shot.

I then roll against the bars of the crib and worm through it. Falling off I landed on the floor with a small thud. That quickly drew the attention of both of my new parents, both with looks of shock. I then shakily placed my front hooves on the floor, and pushed up slowly. I then lifted from the rear as well, drawing more shock from the pair in front of me. I then shakily placed my right hoof forward, then my back left, front left, back right. I repeated this until my downward facing head bumped against Night Lights front hooves, causing me to stumble back a bit.

I looked up to see both of my parents looking down at me with widened eyes, and I ain't talkin about just big I mean the size of dinner plates. Suddenly I was swooped up by Night Lights hooves and spun around a few time all the while laughter filled the nursery.

It's been about five years since that day in the nursery and a lot has changed. The first and most obvious part, WHAT HAPPENED TO SHINING REEEEE!!!! The answer is pretty sad honestly, apparently in this version of Equestria he died in infancy from measles. I honestly didn't even think these ponies got sick apart from those odd cases like the cutie pox. Then again there was that time that Fluttershy got sick with... Something. Was it pony pox, or some sort of pony flu... whatever MOVING ON!

Since Shining isn't here that means that we're down both a prince and a guard captain. So, in order to pick up the slack, I've been grinding all of my skills in secret to fill the position myself. I mean, to be honest, he did score pretty high. Which I wouldn't exactly say about Twilight. I mean I don't HATE the guy, I honestly kind of just find him boring. He didn't really have any unique quirks about him that made me particularly like him, but he didn't have any bad qualities that made him unlikable to me. I just kinda felt 'meh' about him, I will also NOT be intentionally changing anything to keep Flashlight from happening! Twilight deserves the happiness that a relationship with him will provide, regardless of my personal feelings about him! ...moving on.

That is terrifying. Especially so when you think about the strength that the villains could have. Nightmare Moon would easily be a match for Celestia, Discord fought both alicorns and nearly won, Chrysalis defeated Celestia, and as for Tirek and Sombra... FUCKING HAX!

The most important thing I discovered during these few years is the Hp, and mana bars... What do you want an explanation YOU FUCKING PONY JACKING SCUM! I BET YOU JACK OF TO LUNA EVERY NIGHT BECAUSE YOU CAN'T GET A FUCKING HUSBAND AND/OR WIFE!

Woah, sorry about that, I'm usually far more composed. I don't know what came over me. Also that insult is kind of a moot point because of my semi-final goal of getting in Cadences non existent panties but whatever.

Today is the day of the entrance exam for that school whose name is to long for me to care to (type)say. Anyway I was first placed in a small room siting across from a white coated unicorn mare, she had her pink mane in a bun and wore a lab coat preventing me from seeing any more features. She was the only one apart from me in the room, due to having to be separate from my parents for the first part of the test.

"Okay so now we are going to take the first part of your exam, mkay?" Oh god is this some sort of South Park BS? Whatever let's get this over with.

"Mkay." I responded with.

"Mkay?"

"Mkay."

"Mkay?"

"Mkay."

"... So your exams will be in two parts, a problem solving exam and a magic capacity exam. For your problem solving exam you'll be solving this puzzle." The examiner said, holding up a box. It had wooden pieces that fit together in a way that made part of the wood stick out. "Your goal is to take all of the pieces out, and place them all back so that no pieces are sticking out." Huh, that seems simple enough. I then tapped a few times on the mahogany table in front of me as she levitated the box to me.

"Ready... Set... Begin!" She said as she got a stop watch from nowhere.

The puzzle was easy enough to pick apart, quickly doing that I placed a pronged piece into a slot in the blocks and connected them. I then placed them in the boxes skeleton, and locked it in place. I then placed multiple blocks sliding in like puzzle board pieces. Quickly enough I got all the pieces locked in place, and I then quickly placed it onto the table. The whole time I looked down towards the puzzle, not paying attention to the time.

I then slowly looked up to the examiner, her mane was sticking up in places and her right eyelid was twitching. She then looked at the stopwatch and gained a look of shock.

"T-Tw-Two point S-Se-Seven seconds!?" She exclaimed in a low, almost mute voice.

I then chuckled slightly and rubbed my left hoof against the back of my neck.

Next up was the Magic Capacity exam. We were brought into the halls where I saw both of my parents, waiting for Twilight. Once she exited a few minutes later from her exam we were shown to the next part of the exam. This time our parents were allowed to follow into the room. Our parents decided to spilt up to give each of us support/comfort in case either of us failed. Night Light decided to go with Twilight while Velvet came with us.

In front of me was a dragon egg. Although something was different about it. I looked with my 'Observe' ability and saw that it was covered in magic resistance enchantments. (Read this in a snarky Freiza voice)It seems that this test isn't about magic capacity at all(obviously).

I then extended my pale gray magic to surround the egg.

I then internally snicker and then input Y. My eyes then force themselves shut and my body clenches up. I then overhear a faint humming sound as I feel my teeth clench. Then after a few seconds I feel like my strength being drained slightly and a small *crack* fills the air.

I then bend my front knees slightly as I catch my breath, a small amount of sweat dripping from my forehead. The cracks get louder as I look at the shell breaking away. When the whole shell was scraped away I came face to face with a baby dragon, he looked just like a baby Spike only red and orange instead of purple and green.

In the distance I also hear the boom of the Rainboom, but I was completely entranced by the newborn in front of me. As I do the newly hatched dragon tilts its head innocently in while looking at me.

*Bu-Bump*

Did-Did my heart just skip a beat? I was thinking that somewhere in my conscious mind, but my body didn't respond. Instead I shakily picked up the tiny dragon. I then carefully and warmly hugged the infant, all the while hearing it purr and chirp as it worked into my hooves. All the while I couldn't take my eyes off it.

That was when the examiner spoke up. "What just happened?"
