[thirteen years later]

I was walking along the limits of Ponyville, where My family had moved after I was born. I was currently looking for my Big sister, which was amazingly enough Fluttershy of all Ponies.

“Shy?” I called out, looking for my sister as I secretly readied my gamer abilities, having a sledgehammer I… borrowed, ready to come into my right hand at a moments notice.

I soon heard Fluttershy’s crying and bolted towards her voice, finding a teenage dragon and his posse was tormenting her with their fire breath, burning her hair and wings ever so slightly, not enough to leave a mark, but still more than enough to hurt. She could see me and shook her head in a panic. “Forgey! Run! It’s not safe!”

The dragons turned to me and grinned “Heh, seems that the sweet piece of ass has a little brother. Maybe we can use him to convince her to have some fun?”

I narrowed my eyes before chuckling icily and taking out my sledgehammer from my inventory. “Your right. I am her brother… And I am little… But wanna know something?” I ran at the nearest dragon and crushed his kneecap with brutal force. “I’m not letting you lay one claw on my big sister!” As I said that, I followed up on the swing and crushed the dragons wings, crippling it and knocking it out from the pain.

I then was punched in the muzzle by the second of the six dragons, to which I simply spat a bloody loogie in his fat face before breaking his jaw and ripping off one of his horns with my bare hands.

I may have unintentionally removed a bit of his brain with it, to which I bit it off and spat it in the face of a third right before he breathed red hot fire onto me, making me grunt as I fought the urge to shout from the pain. One of the dragons looked to the boss, whom I recognized as a young Garble now. “Boss! He barely even flinched! What in Bahamut's name is this pony?!”

I looked at my stats and frowned, I was at half health, not good chances when the four left are fire breathers… I leapt at the one who doused me in fire and stabbed him through the eye.

Right as I was about to be flambe’d again, I saw a dome appear over us, a Unicorn mare about my big sisters age floating down from the Tree line casually as they chuckled. “So, you were going to have fun with the pretty mare, huh? Gonna hurt her baby brother so she’d cooperate?” She grinned at garble and the survivors glibly before staring straight into the leaders eyes. “Well, While he may have had some fun with you, it’s my turn to play, and you know what?” She giggled sadistically before hundreds of spinning arrows appeared around the dragons. “I break my toys!”

As she buffets the survivors, I observed the mare and smiled.

Fluttershy looked to me in shock, seeming to snapped out of her fear paralysis. “Forgey! Manners!”

I shrugged “Hey, I had three healing potions in my inventory ready to go.” i then pulled out one and took a swig, downing it in one.”

The mare looked to me oddly before smiling “Oysters and cabbage?”

I grinned knowingly, certain it was my old friend now. “Wanna whiff again?”

The man turned mare guffawed. “Naw, I think I’m good never smelling that again.”

I turned to the confused Shy and smiled. “We just found my best friend from before I was reincarnated.”

She frowned in confusion. “B-but I thought they were a he?”

I grinned “Well, he always wanted to be a girl. I never understood why, I mean dude, you gave up peeing standing up, for a future with periods.”

She grinned “I got magic for that.”

I shrugged. “Hey, I also get testosterone, so I get muscles easier.” I grinned and helped down Shy, who was staring at my new/old BFF.

“S-so… what should we call you now? My parents called my brother Fury forge, in hopes that it would calm him down… it...kinda worked?”

She smiled “Name’s Mana Burst, now… I was wondering, you single? I’d love to go out sometime.”

My big sister blushed hotly. “Wh-what?! B-but your my baby brothers age!”

I deadpanned. “I am literally only a year younger than you.”

She blushed even harder. “A-and… I’ve… never been on a date before… and My parents… they don’t know I like mares yet…”

I chuckled “They know… I may have been paid by them to get them your diary.”

Fluttershy paled. “W-why?”

I shrugged. “They needed to know, secrets aint healthy like that, and… I got an apprenticeship at the local smithy.”

She looked to me in a hurt manner. “B-but…that was years ago...”

I smile “Yeah, When they read it, I may have given them the riot act. They never told me they were going to read it. I just figured they were going to check the pages left, see if they needed to get you a new one yet, like the last time.”

Mana Burst chuckled “Yeah, I remember when I came out to my parents… They floundered for hours trying to give me the talk. Shining was cool about it, Twilight and Spike tried to get me hooked up with Cadence, but I wasn’t into her like that, besides, I saw Shining drooling at her, and herding with family would be…. weird.”

I nodded “Well, You two have my blessing, just know that if you hurt Fluttershy, I’ll shave you bald before throwing you into an ink vat.”

Mana Burst looked appalled “Who would hurt someone so perfect?! That would be like… like kicking a puppy, or drowning a kitten! It’s just not done by good ponies!”

We then heard a ringing sound as Mana Burst pulled out an alarm clock. “Shit! I gotta go!” She kissed Fluttershy’s cheek before teleporting away with a soft pop.

I looked to Shy and smiled as i saw her wings puff out in her first wingboner. “So, looking forward to that date?”

She nodded as a dopey grin covered her face.

[ten years later]

I woke up to find it was business as usual, Fluttershy was busy caring for some animals as I woke up, I went and got my breakfast, some hay bacon and friesop Ponyville as I waved goodbye to Shy and made my way to town, getting greeted by none other than my marefriend Pinkie, who was beckoning me over with a carefree smile.

“Hey, Forgey! I heard mana burst was coming to town again, this time with her sister!” She smiled at me as I walked up to her. “So, you going to want to double date again?”

I shrugged. “Who knows, I mean, I’d have to share your attention, and I’m a selfish kind of stallion~.” I said with a grin as I kissed her cheek. “By the way, how’s that new frying pan, working well?”

Pinkie nodded “Yes indeedio, my boyfriend-io!”

I then got a text on my phone from Mana Burst, once known as Chara. “Yo, you free?” it said.

I looked to Pinkie and smiled “Gotta take this, see you later?”

She nodded as I went to my smithy, unlocking the door and heading in, before promptly closing the shutters and locking the door. “Sup? Moon butt is coming downstairs, I bet?”

Mana Burst sent a nodding emoji, before sending me another text. “Get ready, Fury Forge, we are going to distract Night horse.”

I grinned and walked towards the back of my forge, right as I saw Twilights Procession make it to town, with Mana Burst and Spike riding with her. I texted her with a grin on my face “Have her come round town, got a gift for her.” I sent the text to her right as she turned Twilight to my shop.

“Hey, Fury Forge, this is my sister Twilight, I know you have met, but you probably didn’t recognize her due to the lack of books covering her face.”

Twilight blushed and huffed “Why are we here, Mana Burst? You know I’m terrible with weapons…”

She grinned “Because, Fury made you something, and I’d rather not diss the best craftsman in the world.”

I chuckled “What, you dis me? Naw, I’m the one who does the dissing.” Even if she came up with some of my better ideas for enchantments, I was the one who made them shine. Luckily, I had made an order a few months back for orichalcum, and got the materials just in time to make a horn diadem, made to encapsulate the horn in many layers of the magical metal, each layer micro etched with runes made to amplify magic absorption and output. One of these diadems had enough oomph to render the Alicorn amulet obsolete, and I just so happened to have made two.

I grinned at their awestruck faces. “I made one for each of you. Now, this is a freebie, Sparkles, cause your my best buddies friend.” My face darkened. “Don’t make me regret it by failing now.”

Mana Burst rejected my gear, pulling out her money. “At least let me-”

I grinned “ You can repay me by helping me gather materials after we deal with that ‘Nightmare’ of a bed head your sister has.” I put a special emphasis on the word Nightmare, as I looked to Twilight.

She frowned in shock. “You.. you know about Nightmare Moon?”

Mana Burst nodded “We’ve been planning contingency plans left and right, in case if the Elements are a no show.”

I sighed and clocked Mana burst upside the head playfully. “Way to keep it on the down low.”

She smiled jovially. “Hey, my sister kept my secret, why can’t she keep this one?”

I frowned. “Because, I may trust you two, but your brother on the other hand is not exactly the sharpest tool in the shed. Hell, he’s duller than a sack of hammers!”

As Twilight puffed out her cheeks in an upset manner, Mana Burst tried to calm her sister down. “Hey, you can’t say he’s wrong, guy is great, but If I can get out of coming in through the front door at age ten, at six A.M… he’s damn stupid.”

Twilight huffed angrily. “I hate it, but you are right…”

I scratched my cheek.. “I was just talking about the time he tried sparring against me with a metal weapon, when I was using electric weapons… but also, why does he only do shields? That magic of his has so many more applications...”

Twilight sighed as she nodded reluctantly. “Okay…”

Mana Burst smiled to me. “So, feel like coming with us as we greet… ugh… Rarity?”

Spike looked to her curiously. “Who is Rarity?”

I sighed in annoyance. “The most frivolous, selfish, and self gratifying bitch in ponyville.”

Twilight smacked my arm with a cry of “Language!” before gasping in pain upon contact with my rock hard arm. “What is your arm MADE of?!”

Mana Burst smirked. “Pure concentrated muscle.”

I smirked as well. “Now, how about we head to where Rarity was supposed to be helping the construction crew set up for the Summer Sun celebration… she is probably just decorating.”

Twilight and Spike looked to me worriedly. “What is so bad about her?”

Mana Burst. “She pretends to be generous towards others as a manipulative tactic to advance her social position.”

I grunted “And she spends all of her free time insulting my works, saying that they were ‘drab’ And ‘Uninspired’. I have had to hold back your little sister here on several occasions, when she insulted Flutters. And I had to be pinned down by Pinkie and Mana Burst not to kill her when she called Pinkie a… I hate to even repeat it, but an ‘unrepentantly uncouth whorse.’ I literally wanted to burn down her shop, because she made Pinkie cry.”

Mana Burst grunted. “Well… I did curse her for a week with every pattern of cloth she uses in her dresses becoming purple and green plaid.”

Twilight looked to her in shock. “That’s what you were looking into curses for?! I thought you were...working on another project…”

I grinned and whispered into Mana bursts ear. “Skill level?”

She smiled. “Max.”

I chuckled. “So, Twilight, you play videogames?”

Twilight frowned, glaring at Mana Burst. “Much more than I like.” I grinned and pulled out my invite tab, which I have only used so far for Mana Burst and Shy, and sent an invite to Twilight. Her shocked face was priceless before she got her calm act back together. “So that’s why she hangs out with you! You are like her!”

I frowned “That, and we are friends.”

Twilight pulled out a notepad and looked to me “So… What kind of Gamer are you? Chara’s a mobility based magic caster… but I doubt you are, since your an earth pony…”

I smiled “I am a level 7500 Siege breaker. I have re-classed three times to the same profession.”

She frowned “three?! But Magic Burst had to be in those horrible dungeons non stop to get this far!”

I frowned. “Why are you saying that they are horrible? We get very strong because of them, and I get some otherwise impossible to get materials.”

Twilight frowned as well. “But they are so dangerous! One hit from those things almost killed Mana Burst!”

Burst grunted “I was a filly! And how was i supposed to know a Zombie from resident Evil could hit so hard!? At least I didn’t pick prototype, remember that one?”

I chuckled. “I Fight in a VERY different manner. I am built to take hits and send back death.”

Burst chuckled as we reached Rarities position. “Yeah, but you can’t even-” I grabbed Mana Burst and Twilight before I flung them aside as a bunch of scaffolding fell from above us.

Rarity Huffed as i held up the ceiling as Spike hurried out of danger. “And what do you two want? I can only pray it’s fashion tips, your ensemble is dreadful as ever!”

I grunted, knowing she left no evidence of her attempted murder. “I don’t think you should be one to talk, eh, Burst?”

Burst smirked. “Oh, this coming from mrs green and purple plaid?”

Twilight and Spike step in front of Burst, glaring at Rarity. “What in the name of Faust are you doing to my sister?!”

Rarity huffed. “I am certain I have no idea what you are talking about.”

I then stepped in, shaking off the scaffolding and ceiling chunks that fell on me. “So, Bleach coat, how goes the search for a normal looking wig?”

She looked to me in confusion. “Huh?”

I smiled evilly. “I will shave your mane off and turn it into a beard for a hippo if you ever do that again!”

She smiled. “You can’t prove it was me, so too bad!”

I grinned and walked to the far wall, getting a hold of an invention of mine and Mana Burst, a Camera. “So, I wonder how Celestia will react to this LIVE FEED being sent to her. I mean, it’s not like she will SEE YOU TRY TO KILL US.” i smirked. “Oh, and don’t forget, two of us are her personal students.”

Ririty paled and looked to the camera before leaping at me. “Give me that!”

I swatted her off, sending her sprawling. “Oh, and by live feed, iI mean it sent the whole thing to her guards.”

It was at this point that Shining Armor came in, and he was beyond pissed. “Care to explain why you tried to kill not only my siblings and nephew, but the ex captain of the craftsman corps?”

Rarity looked to him fearfully as I looked to Shining. “Oh, By the way, I hear you finally got promoted to captain yourself? Congrats. Was about to send you a free charm for that amulet I made you. Should make your barriers have some extra oomph.”

Shining, upon hearing this, practically geeked out as rarity tried to flee, only for me to fling a vase at her, knocking her out and soaking her in old water. “So, arrest her, and come by in about three days?” he asked.

I nodded “Sure thing man.”

Shining then looked to Mana Burst warily. “Care to explain why she was targeting you specifically?”

“We despise each other on a deep, and intimate level. The hate boners could NOT be stronger between us.“ mana Burst said with a shrug.

I just shrugged. “And I may have spoken out about the impracticality of her garments. I mean, really, the Gems could be used for much more important things than...that.”

Mana Burst smiled “Hey, at least we learned how to do her gem finding spell. The one damn thing about her worth a shit.”

I grinned “Language?”

Twilight chuckled. “I know my baby sister is beyond help.”

Mana Burst pouted. “Meanies…”

I grinned. “Next up, the music, being handled by the sister of yours truly.”

Twilight paled. “You have a sister? Please don’t tell me she’s all buff like you!”

I shook my head “Naw, she’s… well…”

Mana Burst whispered in Twilight's ear, to which she gasped. “Your sister is Fluttershy?!”

I nodded with a chuckle. “Well, she’s in charge of the music, let’s go.”

As we made our way to Fluttershy, I got a notification from my Gamer vision.

I smiled and chuckled as we reached Shy, her having finally gotten the birds to sing on key, Looks like the flute gave her helped after all. She looked to us as I cleared my throat, her face lighting up as she saw Mana Burst, running to her and tackling her in a hug. “You came to visit!”

I smiled and tapped her shoulder, gesturing to Twilight, Spike and I. She blushed as she looked to us. “O-oh! S-sorry…”

I chuckled as Twilight walked up to Fluttershy calmly. “So you are the Fluttershy my baby sister has been talking about?”

Mana Burst pouted. “I’m only a year younger! And I’m WAY stronger!”

She smirked. “Aww, is baby Mana Burst cranky? Maybe You should snuggle your ‘sweet yellow goddess’ to feel better?”

Mana Burst blushed a deep crimson. “Yes but not because you told me to!”

As the two lovebirds snuggled, I nudged Spike into View. She gasped with wonder. “A baby dragon?! Oh my goodness, so cute!”

Spike deadpanned. “I am male, I am handsome, not cute, and I am already thirteen years old. I am by no means a baby, I just have shrunk due to SOMEONES crappy aim.”

Mana Burst huffed. “It should wear off soon, I mean, I barely put any mana into it.”

Spike’s veins bulge with anger as he waved a fist at Mana. “It better! I look like I belong in a freaking day care!”

Fluttershy looks to Spike and frowns. “That’s not very nice, little mister, say you are sorry!”

Spike looked to Fluttershy Bluntly. “From this distance, there are ten different ways I could kill you.”

Spike was soon smacked by a rather irate looking Mana Burst as Fluttershy hid behind her, quaking in fear. “I trained you because you need to protect Twilight, not so that you could harm my girlfriend.”

I then finished looking at Spike and smiled “How about I make you some armor after the celebration? My shop is closed for the day, but I could make you some choice gear.”

Spike grinned at me, excitement in his eyes. “For sure!”

Twilight looked to me cautiously. “And let me guess, your charging extra to cover the horn diadems.”

I raised a brow. “Eh, no. I’ll charge you a discounted price, since this will just be training armor for until he comes into his own as a fighter.”

Spike looked at me in confusion. “Training? You saying I’m untrained? My aunt trained me ragged on any and all creatures weak points!”

I shook my head. “True, but I saw how you carried yourself all the walk here. You need some of my training too. Your aunt may have taught you pressure points and speedy death delivery, but what if you can’t hit those points, or your fighting something without those pressure points you have become so dependant on now? You need to get a weapon, and get good with it.”

Mana Burst nodded “He’s right, I can’t help you there as I know nothing of dragons fighting styles. Only reason I even knew the weak points was that I got a few good scans of you.”

Spike sagged as he looked bummed at this revelation. “So I am a weakling even at full size?”

I chuckled as we made it to the Golden oaks Library. “No, What I’m saying, is that you have a great foundation, and it’s my turn to help you, starting tomorrow.”

Spike looked hopefully to Twilight, who nodded reluctantly. Mana Burst then stopped Twilight and smiled to Twilight in an apologetic manner. “Now… before we head in, just know Pinkie pie, Fury forges girlfriend, is VERY affectionate towards him. He kinda helped her out with some serious hang-ups, and she kinda… well… she loves him a lot. So If you wanna pursue this little crush you have on him? Ask Pinkie first.”

Twilight blushed a deep crimson as they walked in and were greeted by the entire town shouting “Surprise!” as the lights came on. Pinkie strolled on in in a happy manner from upstairs, then slid down the handrail before leaping and landing on my shoulders. “Soo, Forgey? How was my landing?”

I smiled and thought a moment. “You get an eight outta ten, would of been better if you did a twirl or a flip in midair first.” I then chuckled. “And nice choice on the chimi-cherry-changa spread, as well as the floral pattern panties.”

Mana Burst tried to smack me in the back of the head with a cry of “Pervert!” only for Pinkie to leap off of my shoulders, catch her hand and flip her into a wall. She smirked “No one hits my stallion while I can help it!”

I smirked. “No one but you, and that’s for private time.”

Pinkie smiled. “No, that’s different, it’s our hips doing it.”

Mana Burst shouted from the wall, apparently having the wind knocked from her lungs.”But… anime instincts! Must… smack... pervert!”

I deadpanned. “There aren’t any kids here, and the perversion is welcomed by Pinkie.”

Pinkie nodded “It’s true! I love my Forgey Worgey Georgie!”

I grinned. “And by the way, she’s a trained martial artist. Puts Dashie to shame.”

Pinkie grinned. “Yuppers! Trained with master Gloompalm from the Umbra Legata when Forgey went to meet them!”

Mana burst looked to Pinkie with respect. “You actually learned from them?! Those guys are crazy strong! They beat me to shit, and I’m crazy broken!”

I chuckled. “The Umbra Legata saw something in Pinks, something worth fostering. I don’t know exactly what they saw, but I know that I’m happy that Pinkie learned a way to protect herself if I’m not around at the moment.”

Rainbow Dash, who had looked to me curiously as she saw Pinkie fling Mana Burst like nothing, then flew over to us at the mention of her being better than her at martial arts. “Hey, what do you mean Pinkie is better than me at fighting? And what the hay is an Umbra... whatever you said.”

Mana Burst, who was helped out of the wall by Fluttershy and still had trouble catching her breath, silently pointed to me, as Shy glared at Pinkie. Pinkie gave no shits as she whistled a little tune.

I smiled. “Well, the Umbra Legata are a tribe of people who have adapted to living in the shadow realm. Sort of a Limbo dimension where all the dark goes when there is light shining.”

Twilight looked to me in shock. “But they were supposed to have withdrawn from Equestria centuries ago!”

I shrugged. “I may or may not have found an old temple of theirs in the Everfree, turns out, they just had some… affairs, that needed to be dealt with.”

Rainbow nodded slowly. “So… what is this Gloompalm thing?”

I smirked. “It makes Equestrian martial arts look like shit. It literally is the second most lethal and dangerous martial arts style in the world.” I chuckled. “The path to awakening even the basic use of this style, is called the Halls of Hypnos. They are only accessible by dreaming, and they make you face the deepest, darkest secrets of your psyche… the things that you don’t want to admit to yourself, you have to see every horrible thing you were ever tempted to do, or thought of doing, and come to terms with it.”

Rainbow Dash eyed Pinkie and frowned, a look of respect igniting in her eyes. “You went through that, Pinkie?”

She nodded. “It… it wasn’t easy, but I had Forgey by my side the whole way… he never so much as winced, he stayed with me the whole way…” She smiled. “I love him.”

Mana Burst frowned at this revelation, seeming uncomfortable with this topic as she regained her breath. “A-anyway, you mind telling them about those guys? I… I gotta take care of some stuff.”

Fluttershy and mana Burst walked off as Twilight stuck with me, Pinkie, and rainbow. I couldn’t see Spike until I looked up to see he was sitting atop a bookshelf. Dude was reading as he just ignored the party goers. I shrugged and looked to Twilight. “I assume you want me to tell you what I learned from them?”

She nodded excitedly before I chuckled. “What? It’s an almost forgotten culture! I would be a horrible scholar if I left such information alone!”

“Sorry,” I said. “But you look like Pinkie when I asked her out the first time.” I shrugged and thought a moment as Pinkie walked after Mana Burst, a worried look on her face.

[POV Mana Burst]

As Forge mentioned the Halls of Hypnos, millions of thoughts flooded my mind. One, being that I knew my darkness quite well, due to me being a reincarnated human. The other, being that I was certain I’d never let anyone see my darkness, even if I had to face it alone. Third and final, not only did I hope to never face my dark side, but I was also conflicted with the desire for the power of this school.

“Hey, you okay?” I heard a voice behind me say in concern as I turned to see Pinkie of all mares. Where did Shy go? Upon seeing my confusion, she smiled lightly. “Oh, I apologized to Shy, and she went to get drinks for you two.”

She then sighed. “Look, your scared of your darkside, right? I’m going to be frank with you, it is… not fun. And before you get all specific, with you saying it’s other people seeing it? Stop the Semantics. I know what it’s like, you want to hide what it is, but trust me, you can only pass the test with someone with you, and it’s better with someone you trust. So all i’m going to say about it is this: Think of the good times with your loved ones, for every bad thought, counter it with a good thought and a little acceptance.”

She smiled. “If you see a thought of that time you wanted to hurt someone? Think of a time you helped a friend feel better, and say, ‘Yeah, I’d hurt someone to help loved ones.’ the big deal, the whole kit and kaboodle of it, is that you have to come to terms with your own shadow, before you can use others.”

I smiled hollowly. “ Pinkie, it’s not that I don’t know my shadow, it’s that I know it too well.”

She sighed and flicked my forehead. “Then tell me, professor. How come you aren’t already a Gloompalm? Because you know it too well, or you are trying to hide it from others?”

I sighed. “Not letting others see it…I can only see fury doing that with me, and he’d look at me-”

She smiled. “I know Fury Forge, and I gotta say: that’s total crap.” She giggled at my shocked face. “What? Expect me to be all bubbles and sunshine? That was an act that Forgey helped me get over. Sure, I still love to bring happiness and joy, but...I don't DEPEND on others for my own now.”

I smirked. “Well, at least he helped you out with that, huh?” I chuckled. “Now he just has to get you to lose about thirty pou-grk!”

Pinkie had chopped me in the throat before suplexing me easily into the bob for apples. “Fatality.” She said, before walking away, Fluttershy coming back with an amused grin. “You should know by now not to call mares fat. Remember what happened with that one minotauress who turned out to be a professional wrestler?”

I raise my hand feebly as I lay in the bob for apples.”Worth it…” I then chug a health potion from my inventory and toss it before hugging Shy. “Mine.”

Fluttershy rolled her eyes and kissed me. Tasted like cinnamon and vanilla, as always.

[POV Twilight]

My eye twitched as I looked to Pinkie Pie suplexing my baby sister into a tub of water and apples, before she walked up to me. “She called me fat.”

I sighed as i took my notebook and put it away upstairs, before coming down and heading with everyone to the site of the Summer sun Celebration. Curiously enough, Fury Forge and Mana Burst were nowhere to be seen.
