Peace for a Warrior
Peace for a Warrior Part 2
Previous ChapterBlazing Fury POV: To say the food was amazing was an understatement and the owners were extremely kind and took care of him and the other customers needs with speed and professionalism. His tail swished behind him as he chowed down, it was a perfect blend of spice and other ingredients which he couldn't put his hoof on. How these people didn't end up as the highest rated eatery was beyond him but he was going to spread the word for sure when he got done here. Sighing contently he motioned for his check and a female came over with a happy skip and gave it too him. "And not badly priced either. Ten bits for a meal like that is something to be happy about". He muttered with a smile on his face and left a nice tip for the waitress who had clearly been busting her flank all day.
Leaving with a full belly and a happy mood he trotted down the road. He felt the summer sun on his silver coat, warming him and making him sigh with content. "Thank the gods for a warm day, not too hot and not too cold. You did a good job teaching her about the sun Solis.".
"Hey babe! I got a present for you". Looking around Blazing Fury or "Blue Flame" noticed a female being harassed by a male who was clearly drunk. "It's not even 1200". He mumbled under his breath and took notice of the mare who was clearly not liking the attention. "Fuck me". Blue Flame muttered once more.
"Sir, I need to ask you to step away from the female. She's clearly not interested". He said as he approached which made the drunken stallion turn around albeit unsteadily so.
"What'd yous shay Motter bucker"? The stallion asked in challenge which made Blue Flame facehoof.
"I said back the buck off by order of the royal guard"! He barked which much to his satisfaction made the stallion stumble backwards and trip, making him land on his ass like a fool. "That's better, ma'am please step over this way". He requested the young mare who made her way to him quickly and hid stuck her tongue out at the drunken stallion.
"Thank you sir. He's been messing with me for a while". She said and gave him a grateful hug before walking away, leaving the drunken stallion still dazed and Blue Flame to his own devices. Deciding now would be a good time to leave he did so. Right now he wanted to find Celestia a Peytral but of a different design all together. Besides, he did have a pretty good sized fortune from being alive so long and taking care of himself.
"Where a good place to start...........Oh hello there". He said and stopped in front of a place called the Personal Jewel. He had never been to this place but decided to give it a shot and see what they had available or if they could make a custom piece for Celestia. He knew she already had a Peytral but he had an idea in mind that would go well in terms of appearance for her next meeting with any Ambassadors or envoys.
Entering the store he noted that it smelled of lavender and sage. It wasn't powerful enough to overload his senses but someone was religious for sure because Sage was used to usher in good spirits or cleanse a place of evil. "Helloooooo". Came a happy voice as a bright blue unicorn mare trotted out from a backroom with a smile on her face. "Welcome to the Personal Jewel, all are hoof and magic crafted here and the best materials are used". She said happily.
Blue Flame felt himself smile. He found the mare's happy demeanor a nice change to some of the fake smiles he saw from nobles. "Well in that case I was wondering if I could get this crafted". He said and pulled out a sheet of parchment that was rolled up and tied with a black ribbon. Setting it down on a table he let it roll out to show a similar piece of jewelry to what Celestia usually wore.
This one though was silver in color, blue seemed to glow in certain markings and grooves in the metal while the center stone looked to swirl with a purple color, well in the picture anyways. "It'll take some time but I could have it done in an hour if left to my work". Came her voice. "In total based on the materials, designs, and colors I'd be charging you 350 for it'. She said honestly but she was flexible to an extent on her prices as long as she made a profit over what she used.
Blue Flame thought for a moment, taking into consideration everything that would have to be done and the materials used. "I can agree to those terms". He said and smiled. "GREAT! I'll get started right away. Payment isn't due till it's finished and you're satisfied". She said and trotted to the back with the paper in her magical aura.
Blue Flame sighed and began to look around the assorted material and jewelry that was on display through out the shop. He had to admit that a lot of it was stuff he had never seen before and it was well crafted. This was one of the amazing things about going out when he was on leave or had a break, he got to see new things and try out new places.
He smiled lightly as he examined a few pieces of jewelry, coming across a piece he had to admit looked rather nice but decided against buying it. It didn't feel like it had been an hour when the owner called his name to let him know the piece was done. Who knew you could spend an hour or so in a store when fascinated enough.
"Here it is sir"! She said happily which made the knight smile. Such a happy young pony, if she wasn't married then she'd make a stallion very happy some day. "It look amazing Ma'am. Thank you so much". He examined the piece with admiration for the effort and work put in to it.
"I hope you enjoy it and the mare you give it to is happy to have such an amazing stallion". Came her voice before she turned around and walked back to put some other items up on the shelves.
With a smile he thanked the happy mare once more and left, trotting down the street. He began to head to the castle since he didn't need to do much else. Then again he also couldn't wait to play this new thing called a video game and had heard something called Swords of The Sky was a good game to try out. With that in mind he continued his way up the path to the castle.
