Into the Spider's Parlour

Slowly I open my eyes as I’m released from the comforting embrace of sleep. As my brain boots up, I try to take in my surroundings. I was lying on a couch, which was surprisingly comfortable. I was stark naked though, after what had happened, I'm not really surprised at finding that out.

It's a long story, or it seems like a long story to me, even though it happened in just over a weeks' time. A heavy sigh escapes from my lips as I try to figure out just when my life got so damn complicated.

I let my mind take me back to when it all started, it had just been a normal day at work...

(Third person)

"Uuuggghh... I'm so bored." Button Mash groaned under his breath. Rubbing the back of his slightly stiff neck and running a hand through his light reddish-brown hair, he stretched trying to get the kinks out of his limbs and back. He'd been sorting through new shipments and rotating stock for most of the afternoon and into the evening. It was repetitive work and a bit mind-numbing.

His passion had always been and would always be video games, but after he graduated from high school, he found he needed money to keep that hobby alive. And so, he found himself a job at the local superstore where he now worked for the past 4 of his 21 years of his life. It was basic grunt work, but it paid well, keeping food in his belly and a roof over his head. 'If you play hard you need to work hard' as his mom would always say.

With another sigh, he slowly made his way toward the front of the store to see if any of the other workers needed any help. He let his mind drift off to thoughts of the new CIV 6 game that was coming out and when he'd be able to afford it. He was so lost in his thoughts he didn't see the person who he was about to walk into.

All he could do was yelp and try to grab anything for purchase as he collided with a warm body and fell. Whoever he hit gave a similar cry as they tumbled to the floor in a twisting mass of legs and arms.

"I'm sorry! I wasn't watching where I was going! Are you oka..." Button was cut off mid-query by the rather lewd moan that came from his spontaneous floor partner. Focusing his gaze at them, he saw 'they' was a 'she', and he had one of his hands grabbing one of her... *cough cough*... rather large assets. Face flushing atomic red, he sprung to his feet like a scalded cat, spewing out fervent apologies in the slim hope he wouldn't get fired for sexual harassment.

The woman's cheeks were only somewhat flushed as she looked at Button with a slightly amused expression on her face as he helped her up. Or at least he hoped it was an amused expression, he'd never been all that good at reading people's intentions.

"I'm okay, thank you though. It's not every day I take a tumble outside the sheets." She said in a teasing voice, making Button break out in a cold sweat and sputter more apologies from nervous embarrassment.

Her adorable giggles at his ramblings made him feel a bit weak at the knees and his stomach to do flip-flops. He tried to take in as many details of her as he could. She had light purple hair, almost lavender, it went well with her creamy skin tone. She wore a pair of tight blue jeans that framed what might just be the most perfectly shaped pair of long legs he had ever laid eyes on. Also, a light green shirt with a small blue spider emblazoned on the left breast.

Speaking of breasts, hers were quite the sight. Probably reaching the D category easily, looking almost impossibly perky and if the two, evenly spaced bumps on her shirt was anything to go by... she wasn't wearing a bra.

Her most striking point though is her ruby red eyes that almost seemed to glow and shine. A smirk graced her full, kissable lips showing off cute dimples on her cheek.

"You got a camera on you? Because pictures last longer." Button started panicking at his observations being caught and said the first thing that came to his head trying to save face.

"Well can you blame me? It's hard not to stare at something so beautiful." His mouth slammed shut, trying to stop the words as he spoke them, but his brain was too late, they'd already left his mouth. His fear wasn't as justified as he thought as the woman blinked in slight surprise then gave a genuinely happy smile.

"Well, aren't you a regular charmer. Keep giving ladies compliments like that, and they won't leave you alone." She giggled at Button's bashful grin.

"Just speaking the truth is all." Button was very confused at himself at the moment. Normally he'd never be this forward with a lady, his nerves always got in the way. Also, what he said was the truth, it just popped out without him even thinking about it. It was frightening and... refreshing if he was being honest.

Giving himself a mental shake to focus he apologized for bumping into her.

"Sorry about knocking you over like that. My mind was elsewhere and if you need any help I'll offer my services as repayment for the inconvenience. " Button gave her a hopeful smile. She tapped her lip as she gazed at the ceiling in thought. Making up her mind she nodded her head with a smile.

"I'd like that. This is my first time in this store. It's a lot bigger than the one I used to go to, so I don't know where everything is." Button's grin grew, happy she'd accepted his offer and wasn't upset with him.

"Then, please allow me the honor of showing a lady of such beauty around my humble place of work." He gave an exaggerated bow. Her bell-like laugh made his heart jump in an oddly pleasant way. Also, much to his pleasant shock, she slipped her arm around his own, sidling up next to him.

"Oh, thank you, my good sir, please guide this lost maiden through these halls to her destination." She grinned, playing along with his overly dramatic acts making him chuckle.

As he started to lead her through the store, he realized he didn't introduce himself.

"Sorry, I forgot to get your name. I'm Button Mash, by the way, it's nice to meet you." He said giving as welcoming a smile to the drop-dead beauty holding his arm. She returned his smile warmly.

"I'm Silky, Silky Crush." Button had no idea how this one accident would change his life forever.
