Button was praying to whatever deity would listen, that this wasn't a dream. Here he was walking around the store with a beautiful woman on his arm. He never in a thousand years would have thought such a thing would be possible for someone like him. But he wasn't one to look a gift horse in the mouth, so he was doing his best not to mess it up.

Button had led Silky through the aisles on his impromptu tour of the store, showing her where everything was and giving her tips to get good deals. He was just about to show her to the produce/fruit stands when their path was blocked by a large body. Button blinked in confusion as he looked up at the face of one of his fellow employees, Bulge. Bulge, with blue hair and grey eyes, could be considered the perfect stereotype of a 'mountain of muscle with a small brain'. It was something that Button, while he'd never admit it, envied Bulge for, wishing he had some more definition of his own on his small frame.

While Bulge wasn't Button's enemy, he certainly wasn't his friend either. Making his disdain of Button known on multiple occasion, taking great joy in pointing out Button's lack of muscles when they were both on stock duty.

"Button, Short Stack said she needs you in stocks. Something about new stuff to shelve." Bulge's confident smirk seemed to slide on his face like an oil slick as his eyes roved over Silky's body without any hint of subtly. Buttons eye's narrowed in annoyance and anger at his co-worker's lechery. Silky was drop dead hot, yes, but she wasn't a piece of meat to slobber over. He also knew Bulge was lying since he'd just been in stock before he 'met' Silky and there wasn't anything else scheduled for today. As his mind raced to figure out what to do, he felt Silky's grip on his arm tighten slightly.

Flicking his gaze to her, he saw the clear look of annoyance and slight disgust on her face as she glared at Bulge. Her feelings made clear just helped him make his choice all the easier. He squared his shoulders and stood tall... Well, he was five-foot-seven so instead of 'stood tall' it'd just be 'stood up'. He gazed straight into Bulge's grey eyes as he spoke.

"That's interesting Bulge, as I was just in stocks and Short Stake told me there was nothing else to do there for the day. Very interesting indeed." He saw the confused look on Bulge's face quickly transition to understanding than to annoyance. Puffing out his chest he seemed to loom over Button.

"Look, I don't know why she asked for you, but she did, so beat it." Bulge growled, trying to use his natural size advantage to intimidate Button. It was working, somewhat. Button was stubborn though, when he made a choice he stuck to it, so swallowing his nerves, he stood his ground and stared Bulge down.

"No." Button replied, his voice sounding calmer and surer than he felt. As he locked gazes with Bulge, Button's nose twitched slightly as the odd scent of lilacs wafted into his nostrils making his heart beat a little faster. He couldn't dwell on it though as Bulge's face grew clouded with anger at being stood up to.

"Gonna turn you into your name Mash!" Bulge growled, starting to rearing back his arm to throw a punch. Button's body acted on instinct and pushed Silky away from him, getting her out of danger. Time slowed to a crawl as he watched Bulge's arm finish its wind up and start to make its way toward his face. A memory flashed in his mind, and with one crazy thought he acted on it.

"ANIME DON'T FAIL ME NOOOOOOOOOOW! " He screamed in his head as his left foot stepped toward Bulge. Putting his weight on his now extended left foot and extending his left arm under Bulges punch, Button pivoted around bulge's punch, feeling the wind as the ham sized fist sailed past his face. Button couldn't stop and feel happy at Bulges' shocked look as he gawped at where Button used to be, he wasn't done. His weight now back on his right foot he stepped forward with his left once again and drew his left arm back into Bulge's throat with his bent wrist while guarding his face with his right.

Bulge's eyes widened, feeling the pain of getting his Adams apple smacked, and stumbled backward, his right leg getting caught on Button's left. The hard shift in his balance sending him flying backwards off his feet and landing with a hard hit, added by his own heavy weight, to the back of his head, knocking him out cold.

Button was breathing hard from adrenaline as he stared at the giant he'd put on the floor. He'd pulled that move out of his ass from an anime he'd watched over a month ago, so he'd never expected it to actually work. He started to smile at his victory, but his heart sank when heard the very shrill voice of his supervisor yell behind him.

"What the hell is going on here?!" Short Stack screeched. Button's head snapped around and watched as his supervisor headed his way. He could almost imagine the steam spouting out of her nose, like a charging bull, as she stomped up to him. She was even shorter than him, but he still had a healthy fear of the woman as she seemed to defy physics and lift things her short body shouldn't be able to. He gulped as her eyes started to bored hole into him, waiting for an answer. She got one, just not from him.

"He knocked that guy out when he tried to grope me." Silky's voice caught both of their attention. She quickly walked over and pulled Button into a tight hug. It was only now that Button realized Silky was taller than him, putting his face at just the right height to be shoved between her breasts. He inhaled deeply on instinct and realized the lilac smell from before had been Silky's perfume, and it was making his mind go somewhat blank.

"BULGE DID WHAT!?" Short Stack's screech reached a whole new octave that Button didn't think existed before and left his ears ringing. He heard her stomp past him and a grunt of effort. His mind supplied him with the image of his tiny supervisor lifting the massive bulk of Bulge onto her shoulders. He felt Silky's grip slacken, probably in shock, and his mind cleared slightly and reminded him that he wasn't doing something he needed to. If only he could remember what it was... Oh, that's right... BREATHE!

Button pulled his head out from between Silky's amazingly soft breasts, gulping in life giving air the whole way. He turned his head and watched as Short Stack started carrying Bulge away on one of her shoulders, his head dragging on the ground. He sighed in relief, but that seemed like the wrong thing to do as She whirled back around and jabbed her finger at him and pinning him to the spot with a heated glare.

"You better be here when I get back button. Got it?" Button nodded his head so hard he felt it might fly off. She kept her glare on him for a few more seconds before stomping off. Button waited a till he was sure she was gone before he let out the breath he'd been holding.

"Your boss is scary." Silky said, still watching the direction Short Stack had left. He chuckled slightly.

"You don't know the half of it." He said. He felt an impossibly soft hand enter his own, surprising him slightly. Silky gave him a small smile that made him smile back as his heart melted.

"Thanks for sticking around, by the way." Silky said softly, her cheeks reddening slightly, which somehow increased her cute factor. Before he could reply though, her eyes gained a mischievous glint.

"Also, Sorry about the girls almost suffocating you." Silky said, not sounding the least bit sorry at all. She giggled as his face reddened in embarrassment. Rubbing the back of his head he gave her a slightly sheepish smile.

"Worse ways to go." He said before turning away to try to keep what was left of his dignity intact.

"They felt amazing though." He thought as Silky and him stood in the aisle. Quickly realizing it'd be boring to just stand around he stepped forward, gently pulling a slightly confused Silky with him.

"Don't you have to wait for your supervisor to come back?" She asked, smirking at him but doing little to resist. Button just smiled at her as he led her away.

"She was heading for the back office, and a good chunk of the store I didn't show you yet is open to its view, so I don't see much reason not to continue the tour." The smile she gave him in response was all he needed to know he made the right choice.

"Lead on then." Silky said, her hand gently squeezing his as they walked. Button was a bit worried about his job, but right now, looking into Silky's sparkling ruby eyes, he was happy.
