Later that night

Button sighed in pure happiness as he snuggled under the covers with Silky. That evening had been hectic, what with the girls being so excited for Grammys' visit, then getting them to wash up before dinner was like trying to get a cat to bathe willingly. Luckily, they'd worn themselves out and went right to sleep when they were put to bed, much to the relief of the parents.

"Button?" Silky's voice pierced his thoughts and grabbed his attention.

"Hmm? what is it Silky?" His arm around her drew her closer, getting a happy hum from Silky for the effort.

"I have something I wanted to tell you earlier, but everything got so hectic I wasn't able to..." She paused, grabbing a small lock of her hair and nibbled on the tip. It was a nervous action she did when she was thinking or unsure about something. Button was getting nervous now, Silky only ever got like this when she gave not so good news, like that time on the girls fourth birthday she had to explain why the kitchen had been covered in soot with a hole in the floor. So, Button was very worried from the start.

"Try... Try not to freak out, okay?" Hearing her tell him not to freak out only made alarm bells sound off i his head.

"Well... you see..." Silky hesitated, her hands dropping to her belly as she began to twiddle her thumbs. Button eyes bugged out of his skull in shock.

"You're pregnant!?" Button shouted hands grabbing fists full of hair and started ranting about diapers, baby proofing the house, and making sure they had enough caramel, onions and garlic butter of Silky's cravings. Her confused look was quickly shattered as she started laughing, snapping Button out of his rant.

"This isn't a laughing matter Silky! You could be downright nasty if you didn't get the exact food you were craving." Button scowled, only making Silky's giggles worse.

"I-I'm n-n-not Pregn-nant Button." Silky managed to say, barely getting her laughter under control. Button shoulders visibly sagged in relief. He would never say he didn't want more kids, but he hoped the ones he had where more grown before more were born.

"My parents are visiting in a week." Silky's voice shattered any will to live Button had left. His face paled like a ghost and his head turned woodenly to gaze in absolute horror, at the happy, smiling visage of his wife.

"Please repeat that?"

The end?

Until next time ;P
