Spike's Diary

Dear Diary,

Ponyville had a real problem today. There were all these little bug-things called parasprites running around and eating stuff. Fluttershy brought in the first because she thought it was cute. And yeah, it was, but then there started being more and more of them as they kept eating. Twilight tried to fix it with her magic but that just made them eat other stuff. Things were really bad. But then, out of nowhere, Pinkie Pie comes along and starts playing all these weird instruments and stuff, and she used them to lure the bugs out of town. We were all amazed that she could do this, and hey, her music sounded pretty nice too.

Kinda wondering how she knew to do that though. I mean, has she met parasprites before? She must have done. But how did she learn that you need music to get rid of them? Maybe I'll ask later. I gotta say though, it was a shame the parasprites didn't work out, because I'd have loved to have a pet like that. Most of my other friends have a pet, and I kinda wonder what it'd be like to have one. Not the kind that eats everything though, because I think we've all learned our lesson on that one.

So, guess I'll sign off now, Diary. I'm gonna go ask Pinkie if she can teach me how to play some of those instruments.
