Spike's Diary

Dear Diary,

My friends had an...odd day today. It all started when this new person, a Zebra named Zecora, came into town. Nopony talked to her because they were scared of her, because they've never seen somepony like her before. I'm not sure why though, I mean, I'm not a pony, yet ponies have always been fine with me being around. I guess not every non-pony gets to have that though. Still, after my friends followed her to the Everfree, they started being affected by these weird blue flowers. It changed them all in one way or another. Twilight's horn was floppy, Rarity's hair was really long, and Fluttershy's voice was, well, super-deep! It was hilarious, but I think only I felt that way, given how they all looked at me.

So they tried to find Zecora again to get her to change them back, and she did, but not until after explaining that she wasn't responsible. My friends apologies for making assumptions, and now they're back to normal. A shame it happened so quickly though, because I haven't laughed that hard in ages. Huh, I wonder what would happen if I went through that joke flower? What would it do to me? Meh, maybe I'll find out one day. So Zecora is a friend now, and she's really nice. She talks in rhyme a lot though. Not sure why, but hey, it's pretty neat.

Twilight plans to bring her over for tea later, so maybe I'll ask. Catch you later, Diary.
