Dear Diary,

Rarity's out of town right now. Seems my prediction that she might try to find a place in Manehattan was closer to the mark than I thought, because that's exactly where she's gone. Well, she and Pinkie. Oh, and Maud too. Seems the two sisters have this big annual thing together and are going to Manehattan for it. Rarity, as I said, is looking for a new possible site for another boutique, and I'm looking after her one in Ponyville while she's looking. Although, I have to say, it's been pretty quiet here. Nopony's come here except for Sweetie Belle, but hey, she lives here, so I don't think she counts.

Sometimes, I think Rarity really is the main draw of this place, because it seems like nopony else is ever able to get any customers. Although, now that I think on it, what would I even do if I had a customer. I know Rarity left me instructions, but they're kinda weird. All full of fashion lingo and dress jargon. I mean, what the heck is a "top-stitch" when it's at home? Oh well, guess I can always ask her when she comes back. I really hope she finds what she's looking for over in Manehattan.

Because if her boutique in Canterlot can do well, I'm sure she can succeed in a place like Manehattan too.
