Dear Diary,

You know, there are some days when I'm actually glad I'm not around to see what happens with Twilight and the others. Today is one such day. Why? Because guess who strolled back into town. None other than the "great and powerful" Trixie. Yeah, she came back to Ponyville for a show. And what's more, it seems that she was chosen by Starlight as a friend after Twilight instructed her to go out and find one. And you know, when you think about it, the two are sorta similar. Both did bad stuff and both are trying to be better than they were. So yeah, they've got something to connect with.

But boy, would it not have been good for Twilight when she first realised who Starlight had chosen. I can just imagine the look on her face as that mare walked in through those doors. Thankfully, I was out doing grocery shopping at the time, so I wasn't able to be there for the fallout. Oh, and speaking of fallout and groceries, can you believe they've doubled the price of apple juice today? Do I look like the kind of dragon who can spare two whole bits for one of those?

Ugh, anyways, I'm glad Starlight's got a new friend, even if it is a somewhat controversial one.
