Dear Diary,

Today, I made a new friend, though this may come as something of a shock to you. You see, my new friend is named Thorax...and he's a Changeling. Yes, you heard right, a Changeling! We met up at the Crystal Empire, and he's really nice. He broke off from Chrysalis' hive and was trying to be better than the rest of his people. I met up with him and tried to help him get introduced to my other friends, but things kinda took a few dramatic turns along the way. I won't bore you with details, but let's just say he didn't exactly get the warmest welcome.

It was kinda disturbing, if I'm being honest. I knew Thorax was a good guy, yet everypony I knew, even Twilight, was looking to him like a monster. I know Changelings have been bad in the past, but there were moments when they looked like they were gonna be terrible to him! Thankfully, I was able to convince them to stop before things got too bad. And now, with help from Twilight, he's been accepted. I have to say, I never expected to have a Changeling as a friend, but I'm glad I do.

And hey, maybe more Changelings can stray from Chrysalis too after this? We can only hope.
