Spike's Diary

Dear Diary,

Rainbow can have a hard time understanding when she's done something wrong. It doesn't make her a bad pony, not by any stretch of the imagination, but it does make it hard for us to let her know stuff. So, when she started pranking ponies left, right and centre, we decided to pull a little bit of a prank of our own. And I have to say, I was rather pleased with this one. We tricked her into thinking the town was being taken over by an infection of mind-altering cookies that she and Pinkie had come up with. You know, make her feel her actions had led to something terrible?

It was all spooky and stuff, and we managed to get pretty much the whole town on it. It was like the Mare-Do-Well thing from a few years ago, but on a way bigger scale. Rainbow was terrified, and after we revealed what we'd been doing, it was safe to say that she got the message. Here's hoping that she holds off on her pranks after this, because I don't think something like this is gonna work on her twice.

I will say I'm glad it ended where it did though, because I had the mother of all itches on my nose from that rainbow stuff, and I just had to scratch it!
