Spike's Diary

Dear Diary,

Nothing special going on today. Twilight's spending some time with her friends over at Sweet Apple Orchard, so I've got the whole library to myself for a bit. I thought of maybe going out into town and see what other ponies are getting up to, but I figured it'd be better to just stay indoors and relax for a bit. I hear there was a party going on somewhere though, so I might check that out. Some cutesie...cutesie-something-or-other with this little filly. I think Applejack's sister was maybe gonna go, but maybe I'm just remembering that wrong.

Well, I guess I finally have some time to catch up with some comics. I found this new one that's really fun. It's about a group of six superhero mares and their sidekick. Looks pretty neat. Twilight's not a big comic fan, so I don't really talk with her about it, but maybe some of the other kids here do? I might check in with Apple Bloom and ask her, if she's not busy with that party and stuff. So yeah, it's pretty quiet here for once, which is nice. I mean, don't get me wrong, I love living here, but it can get pretty crazy.

Guess it's nice to kick back and relax a bit. It'll probably end when Twilight gets back though, but hey, what can you do?
