Spike's Diary

Dear Diary,

Twilight told me the most amazing thing today. Seems Ponyville had a new visitor show up. A Griffon named Gabby. Thankfully, this one turned out to be a lot nicer than Gilda when she first visited, and she was apparently here to meet up with the Crusaders. Why? Well, seems she wanted to get herself a cutie mark. Now, you can already see the problem here, since cutie marks are, well, kind of a pony-only thing. Twilight said as much to the Crusaders, and the girls were, you guessed it, pretty upset that they weren't able to help her.

Things kept on going wrong for Gabby, but at the end the Crusaders were still able to help her, in a way. They told her that she still helps people, and that that's a worthy goal even if she doesn't have a mark to show it. I like that they were able to meet her, but I wish I could've done so myself. Oh well, maybe I can see her next time she's in town. Still, it would have been pretty neat if they had helped her get a mark. It'd be like making history or something! A place in books forever.

Well, I'm sure Twilight would have put them in a book at least.
