Dear Diary,

Starlight has been having...some difficulties. Seems that, in an effort to try and spend time with all of our friends, she decided that the best way to do this was to use magic on them to turn them into mind-controlled drones. No, I am not making that up, though I really wish I was. I don't know if it was stress or fleeing overwhelmed, but that's seriously the solution she came up with to the issue of spending time with other ponies. If ever there was a sign that Starlight needed extra helping in leaning about friendship, it's this.

Still I don't think I can give her too hard a time on this. After all, its not as if Twilight hasn't had mistakes when she was Celestia's student. Remember the doll incident? And yeah, I am so gonna keep reminding her of that, because why wouldn't I? So while Starlight undoubtedly messed up here, and big time, I can appreciate that she probably felt that she was maybe backed into a corner on this one. I mean who hasn't done desperate stuff like this in their lives?

Although, I'm just glad I wasn't here for all this, because I do not like the idea of being controlled like that.
